    My GO TO pattern for children’s ponchos. I have made dozens of these for elementary age children at two reservations near us.They make up so nicely, squishy and warm while having a nice drape to them. Thanks for sharing😊

    Hi, Glenda! I guess it's been a while since you have gotten a comment on this pattern! I have a habit of creating files in my UA-cam app for everything that catches my eye as far as crochet patterns go. My latest project is making each one of my 4 grandchildren a nice poncho. Three girls and a boy. Took me a while to save quite a few, about 25 patterns. This poncho pattern of yours fit what I wanted it to look like the best. My grandmother made me a poncho in purples when I was about 8 years old. I don't have it anymore, but I still remember it! I'm hoping my grandchildren remember the ones that I am making for them now. I am turning 65 years old in May. My great grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was 13 years old! So, it's been a long time! Thanks, Glenda!

    Thank you for the tutorial. I just purchased the same yarn you used for this project. • @ruthiebabe3638
      @ruthiebabe3638 Рік тому

      I just made this for my daughter.
      It wouldn't be hard to adjust this for an adult, just make the starting chain big enough to go over the head. As someone else said, it's in multiples of 6 (3 for either side to make sure it's even). Then just keep going until it's the desired length. 😊

    • @yyonak
      @yyonak Рік тому

      U could probably make this using the largest child size she mentions at the beginning of the video. As you're working on your poncho, the neckline will naturally stretch. So all u need to do is crochet it to your desired length. Good luck 😊

So end of every round slip stitch then beginning of next round 2 more slip stitches followed by chain 2 followed by hdc chain 1 then 2 hdc just feel like something I'm not doing right at my back corner shell many thanks.

    Wondering how many inches your chain is? I want to make this in a size 2 yarn for my granddaughter. It sure how big it needs to be for a 6 year old.
