Kathy Ireland encountered all this excitement and glamour when she embarked on her modeling career. By the time she was 18 she was traveling around the world on her own. Early on in her career she needed t decide how she would handle the tough work of the modeling business as well as the trappings that come with being a successful model. Just who and what would be her guide for her career and life?
As time has proven, that crucial decision laid the foundation for becoming one of the world's top models---called by many a supermodel. It also helped her to grow as a woman of conviction, one who was willing to trust God for her family and future businesses.
I like how Kathy puts it - I was trying to mold God into who I wanted Him to be instead of allowing Him to mold me into who He wanted me to be. I think many of us can relate.
Loved this interview with Kathy! I can relate to being pulled in so many different directions but I need to put God first!
These interviews are so good, i love to see that Hollywood hasn't devoured all of it's inductees.

Great testimony! - especially for young woman. Myself, I opened the bible for the first time to the book of Matthew - Sermon on the Mount and my life was never the same.
Always loved you Kathy Ireland. You were always a positive role model for women, focusing on health over looks. I can so relate to your powerful testimony...both about self reliance and not leaning on God, and also about making my kids my idol. This testimony really helped me and I am in tears. You are a beautiful woman inside and out. Aging with such grace also I might add. God bless you!!! I hope young women can hear this and see what a real woman looks like and acts like.

People can comment whatever they want. But you can't deny that the people in these videos are happy, and successful. You can argue, but while trying to figure if God is real or not, you're missing out on happiness that is out there for everyone.
Powerful. Glory to God. Please, for all believers who remain babes in Christ, hear His words through Ms. Ireland: "When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways." (1 Cor 13:10).

Thanks so much for doing this video Kathy Ireland! You are very beautiful inside and out. I dreamed of being a model when I was in my teens. I went to Montgomery Ward's charm school for a couple of years, then to Barbizon School of Modeling in Los Angeles a couple more years, but never made it to the modeling scene. But I have always admired you, and your convictions, and thanks for your role as a godly Christian woman! God's blessings to you and your family.
What is it with some of these people who give down votes on videos like these? Is it they feel they can't relate or it's too cheesy? On this one...maybe they think Kathy Ireland lived a glamorous life and didn't struggle to some degree. Everyone who has done these videos has struggled and had lived their lives with questions and no easy answers. Their story is unique to themselves and we all have our own. You can never know what hell that person may be experiencing from outer appearances. Hollywood is full of people you think are living on top of the world yet have ended their lives tragically. Need I give examples? No, you can name many.

Loved Kathy Ireland as a teenager ;) but I find her to have far more beauty now. Much words of wisdom, for parents often busying themselves with work and trying (feeling like failing) to be there for kids, especially where she mentioned her goal in life each day part.

Just because she didn't mention it doesn't mean she didn't repent of it. Just because a person doesn't confess a sin to the whole world doesn't mean that sin hasn't been confessed before God. You should be thankful she got saved instead of criticizing her testimony. So many people are perishing. Rejoice for every soul that isn't.

It is refreshing to be a witness to the testimony of Jesus Christ. God's only Son and my Savior. If anyone Doubt's the Power of Jesus and the Holy Ghost they are blind. Atheist do not believe in any Higher Power, God or Other wise,, A Atheist does not want to make a choice to believe in God or Jesus but I have news for them ,.. If they do not wish to believe, Their choice has been made by them by not making a choice,, but Jesus because of his Great Love for us is always willing to accept us back to his loving arms. We are ALL children of Jesus so get yourself baptized and confess that Jesus is God's Son and Believe that Jesus Died for ALL your Sins and Repent.. Baptism is the Great Key to God's Kingdom thru Jesus Christ his only son.. No one goes to the Father except thru him. Amen

King Solomon was the richest man to ever live. Be careful to toss judgement, as only God knows someone's true heart.
I hear testimonies like this all the time - "I was a Christian, but I wasn't a TRUE CHRISTIAN" Then many of these same people start becoming fundie homophobes in the name of the Christ and become more judgemental and more self-righteous and they convince others that this is what a Ture Christian is suppose to be. To me a True Christians accepts that they can never be a True Christian. Christ did all the work on the Cross. We thank him and offer that same love and forgiveness to others.
Unfortunately, there are some Christians who are deceived by the Evil One who makes them think that being politically active or being racist or having a "holier than thou" mentality is true Christianity. I used to be one of those, and I am still struggling not to be. We can never be perfect because we are human. We aren't any better than anybody else, even though we are Christians. Hey, if things were different, I may be someone those people would look down on. The only reason I'm not is because of Jesus and what He has done for me. Political activism, etc. isnt the answer to fix anything. The answer to fix people is Jesus. We are Christians but we aren't perfect and we are still a work in progress. I like how you said "to me a true Christian accepts that they can never be a true Christian". That's true. We haven't arrived, and we won't be perfect until we get to Heaven. We can only be forgiven through the blood of Jesus.
