Newly arrived in America from their home in Calcutta, India, Sujo John and his wife Mary found work in 2001 with offices in New York's, World Trade Center-Sujo on the 81st floor in the North Tower, Mary on the 71st floor of the South Tower. By September of that year they had settled into a good life and by then were expecting their first child. Yet Sujo was not content. As a believer in Jesus he wanted to know that he was being used for a purpose, not just chasing success.
When terrorists hijacked planes and rammed them into the World Trade Center towers on 9/11/2001, his life story was altered. As the walls of the towers came crashing down around him, his wife's whereabouts unknown, and thousands dying around him, Sujo could only rely upon God's plan for his life. A plan which became real amidst the death and debris of Ground Zero.
This man came to my Church and he was absolutely amazing his testimony brought my heart to tears this guy is so LEGIT!
Wow that's an amazing testimony. My family has a friend who is a president of a bank and he was supposed to have a meeting on the 89th floor in the North Tower that morning. He accidentally slept in and missed his meeting..since that day he follows God.
Oh praise the Lord! My Lord, my Lord, you have incredible plans for this man. Please guide him and lead him, protect him and equip him to do your work with love and passion.
This was so powerful. It encourages me to want to surrender to Jesus and let Him rewrite the story of my life. Thank you.
Every year in June my youth group as youth week. Last year I this was shown. That was the week I accepted the Lord into my heart. Since then I have watched as far as I know every Iamsecond video and each and every one of them have inspired me. Thank you Iamsecond for bringing these stoies out into the world.

If that wasn’t the best testimony I’ve ever heard I don’t know what is .... I surrender my life to Jesus .... how beautiful is that ... and that group of people he stood with having made their peace with God because he spoke up about his faith !!!!!! Then Jesus, in all his love and mercy , keeps his wife safe ... I just love the precious Son of God !!!

Yessss Kris ... such power in his name... our pastor’s wife gave an amazing sermon on the words spoken of Jesus ... she reminded us that when Judas came to get him along with a legend of Roman soldiers (about 300) the night before his crucifixtion they asked him ‘are you Jesus’ .... all he said was those powerful words he had spoken to Moses so long before in the burning bush ‘I AM’ and all 300 fell to the ground ! Like you said ... Power in his name !

Praise the Lord! Sujo you have no idea how much you impacted my life when I heard your testimony years ago here in Winnipeg. God is truly using you and re-writing your life story. I have, and I believe a great many christians join me in this, often envisioned myself spending my last moments on a plane going down, (even those involved with 911), being bold for Christ. You, Sir, experienced it. And you were blessed with confirmation of their sincerity and eternal destination in peace! A stirring testimony that I treasure!
