Korn is my dads favorite band. Please pray that i can get him to watch this so he can be saved he probably doesn’t have that many years left 💔 He won’t watch this stuff when i send it to him but if everyone can pray somehow someway he opens his heart and ends up watching it maybe it will plant a seed. 🙏🏻

@@lakelandcommunitychurch thank you. It was an experience I cannot begin to describe. So much like what Brian described in his testimony. Mine was not in a church. I was standing in my living room when he came to me, my vision closed out, and I want to describe it like a light, but it wasn’t and he put the words in my mind. I didn’t hear a voice, but he told me he had been trying to get through to me for sometime now and that I was going to need him very soon, two weeks later, I was diagnosed with cancer.

Crazy, I grew up with koRn. I remember when Brian left. My buddies and I were so bummed. Now I'm sitting here as a reborn Christian. Brian was a light in my life.❤
This is what many Christians miss, that at the core of Christianity is the continual shedding of the ego and the continual rebirth in Christ.

@@fisheywashington1879 there are quite a few Christian metal heads out there. I'd say metal isn't inherently good or bad. It's the content of the lyrics that impacts its meaning. As a Christian listening to heavy metal, just listen to the good and leave the bad.
It's easy now days because there are some many Christian Metal bands out there!

I met Brian at church. I Didn't bother him in line getting a coffee, but during church he was sitting behind me. I love his laugh.😂 What a beautiful man of God.🪔🔥💖✨
You can talk to these guys and they're usually pretty nice. Just act normal and treat them like "regular" people, don't start asking about albums, etc until you know them better.

BRIAN is a huge part of me coming to Jesus, KoRn was influential to me since 1995 ish ( I'm 39) I also was addicted to heroin, and Head helped me along my path to redemption ( That was 08..Long way to go!) Brian thank you for helping me become a follower of Jesus. Not sure I would have made it without you

Crazy that the band that wrote "Daddy" has turned into a vehicle for Christ. Def not a religious band but people who love Korn, religious or not, will hear Head's testimony, and that may just be enough.
Just today I visited church for a first. It was great and then this gentleman came up to me and gave me this book where I found short story about Brian. I've read it just now then turn on UA-cam and this video poped up. Who would have thought.

He will come to you. He is with you right now. I strayed so far from how I was raised, how could God accept me back? He did tho, and my life is so much better. Keep seeking Him, and the Spirit will come on to you, brother.
When I was 14 years old, Korn was my favorite band. I came to Christ at 17 and threw away all my Korn cds and all the other cds that I felt were not good for me. I even prayed for the bands of the albums I threw away, that they would come to Christ. At least one of those prayers was answered in Brian Welch. That and apparently the band Cold. It makes me so happy.

I’ve been praying for God to save each member of Korn since 1998. I was excited to hear about Brian’s testimony years ago. They were on my daily prayer list. Keep praying.

Jesus is not a religion. He wants you to come as you are, and He will take care of the rest. If you seek Him, you will find Him and set you free.
I hate religion, but am a child of God and I love Him so much. Religion caused me to distance myself greatly from Jesus for many years. It causes a lot of divide amongst people and Christ.
Brian has pointed so many young people to Jesus.
This man led me to pick up a guitar and this might sound crazy but him coming back to Korn ultimately led me back to Christ.

I'll never understand why folks say Lord and then Halleluyah when Yah is at the end
KORN literally got me through my teenage years and school. I have always believed in Christ but I still loved KORN. When I sang along I could feel everything inside of me release and I felt understood and not alone. That’s what music does for people. It unifies us. Christ is there but as a teenager I didn’t feel the christian music could meet me where I was inside. So I’m glad I had the music to connect to back then. I am almost 40 now and the Christian song I connect to now is “Even if” by mercy me because that is REAL. I hope you don’t ever regret your early life because some of us needed you!
I dislike all “modern” Christian music. I’ve prayed about it. I grew up with hymns and choirs. I can barely get thru a minute of a Christian song.
The songs that minister to me are Marvellous by Walter Hawkins and Deliver me by Leandria Johnson. If I am in quiet reverence, I will listen to the psalms.
@@natalienelson8681them old hymns are just dead music, no life to them at all, sounds like 100 zombies mumbling lines together, I grew up in Lutheran church and that church was so dead, to this day it's still dead to the holy spirit. These typical old white people churches, Yah does not rest in them churches, heck he don't rest in any of America's churches, we're all worshipping pagan gods in Christianity of course the holy spirit won't be there
After a successful medical career, I found myself going through a tough divorce and the family courts. I was raised in the church, but never really embraced Scripture. I was down and out living in my medical office when I read his book. I renewed my vows to Christ, was fully baptized, and served The Lord for several years.
Fast forward a decade.
Now, I was back on my feet and living large. I had all the luxuries of life and had abandoned my obedience to the Lord.
And right in the middle of that opulent lifestyle, something changed.
The Holy Spirit moved in me, and for the last 2+ years, I’ve been immersed in the Bible several hours a day.
I’ve never been closer to our Lord.
Oh, what a feeling it is….to be sanctified. Praise the Lord!

I've been a metal head for almost 50 years and Brian's story is one of my favorites. You can still rock and love the Lord no matter what society says. I know I have since my first memory.

I met him when I used to work at Walmart and he asked me if I knew about the "real life" church that was behind the Walmart. Happy I was able to get a photo with him. ❤

It struck me that Brian going back to Korn was what Jesus said about leaving the 99 sheep and going out to find the one lost sheep. If one person at a Korn concert gets saved, it is worth it. Good testimony to God's grace, brother.

I just love this. Such a beautiful testimony. I hope that people in our Christian faith will not judge people by how they look. I surrendered to Jesus on an acid trip a long time ago. It was so powerful to find Jesus for real when you are in the depth of darkness.
I heard you give your testimony in Bakersfield. You changed my life. It was so incredibly scary and blessed at the same time. I wondered why in the heck am I here to see this? I knew from the second I wondered. I will pray for this man forevermore. And by golly gumbo that's exactly what I've done. I have prayed for you every time your name comes up I tell your story. You are making a difference and I give God all the glory.

When i got saved,i didnt want to be in rockabands anymore. I only play music to my saviour. Leave the darkness and go into the light.
I understand where you're coming from, but there's also an outreach aspect you could be missing out on. ie. How many less lives would Jesus have reached if he only spent his time with "good" people/believers vs. the ones he was with?
Ya know, I love worship music, and some contemporary Christian music. But I LOVE progressive rock, always have. I think it’s the most beautiful music. I believe God gave all these musicians this talent, and there’s nothing wrong with enjoying it. As long as the lyrics are not anti-God of course.
Imagine how many people Christian metal bands, like Stryper, have helped lead to Christ. The lord always used unconventional people when and where He needs them most. These bands take the message to people who would never step foot in a church on their own, etc. Joel Osteen could never reach these people, Stryper and Living Sacrifice can ❤️
People say rock or any music that isn’t like church music is bad or against Christ or can make you wonder but I can listen to the misfits, slayer.. any of that sort. It doesn’t separate me from god I actually think thankyou Jesus for letting me see this world and hear these beautiful voices and be touched by these lyrics that tho not about you.. make me feel happy or even sad, able to feel emotions and understand emotions.
Now call me a bad Christian for still liking rock and punk but .. every step I take I try not to do something horrible and bad but is it actually sinful to be WHO I AM? Like am I a bad Christian just because I still like rock? Am I not “truly saved” because I still like gothic stuff?

I've been smoking meth all day and I really fukn hate it.... I can go a few days without it but by day 3 I start to feel empty and depressed. I'm on antidepressant meds hoping it will boost my mood and give me some relief but I haven't had much success. I need to pray more and get into my bible.

I met Head while my friend's band opened for Korn. He was great hiding his pain on stage and during public events. I never understood it since I was just a teen touring with said friend's band. As I grew, I found out how quickly you can fall into this pit. I've overdosed and died. What I seen during my near death experience was powerful enough to break the chains. Running into Korn a few times after Brian's "breakdown" he was a new man. Supportive every way possible. We love you brian.

I am a rocker saved by grace, also with the realization that there are pockets of people under the tent of Christianity who are harsh judges, they seem to misunderstand grace while at the same time singing that grace is amazing.
Some of these people have declared Head to be false. I know in my faith and in prayer that Brian changed drastically. I have been a Korn fan since their first album, I could tell right away that Head was saved, he changed.

His decision to return to the band has brought many to Christ. If anyone reading this feels judgemental, try prayer and maybe review passages of Scripture which declare that while we were sinners God loved us so much that He sacrificed Himself through His Son, to obliterate our sins forever. God's LOVE is the key and permeates through all of us who have answered the call of salvation through belief in Him. Where sin abounded, grace flooded. God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. We are all members of the same body, so the eyes should never tell the ears they are not needed because they can't see. We all need each other, to pray for each other and praise God together.

I've met korn multiple times and met Head as well. So did my kids. There music helped me stay strong in dark times. And thank God for all of them.

the true beauty of Brians conversion to Christianity is both insightful and inspiring, as the love and faith of Christ has the supernatural power to heal and change our most worst and wretched lives, saving us from the darkest of the most dark places we fail and fall so deep into the abyss.
This guys testimony has inspired me. I grew up in church just never fit in or seemed to live up to other peoples standards. At about 17-18 I rebelled. It always seems as if the “wrong” crowd is the most accepting so I went that way wholeheartedly drugs alcohol, witchcraft even became a not very famous metal musician. I still feel like I get looked down on because of the length of my hair etc. in most churches. It’s become very apparent to me that Christ died for all and wants a personal relationship with all. Not just those that have the perfect haircut or those that wear a 3 piece suit or even those that attend church twice on Sunday and once on Wednesday. Church shouldn’t be a club of rich snobs…hmmmm isn’t that called a Country Club anyway?

Jesus is more concerned about the sin in our hearts than our outward appearances. Man judges by the outside but God desires us to be born again in the likeness of his son Jesus Christ. Keep following Jesus.

Going back to the band with his faith has great potential to spread the word of Christ!! 💞 People in the dark are in desperate need of a little light. And sometimes all it takes is a small seed planted or gesture made to give someone a life line. I know, I’ve been in the dark. And when you are someone who has been in the dark you know you have to do what you can to try to help others who are still there.
He really has done such a great job of sharing his testimony. What a cool story that he went back to his band to share the gospel!

I met Bryan backstage in 98’ through friends. I was about 20? I told him we had a band and he was like “Do you have the Demo”?? He was gonna literally listen to it then and there😮. We didnt haha but he was REALLY kind! Crazy to think he had struggles at that time. God bless that man for helping so many of us admit we’ve faced self inflicted darkness and believe in a higher power now🙏🏻. Its very brave to admit to past negatives and move forward into positivity

I struggled with addiction to alcohol and also had done meth in the past. I started going to church hungover, and God completely took my desire to drink away. I’ve been sober nearly 9 months and God has changed my life.
He had been chosen when he was at 12.❤ Jesus found him again❤🎉 tks for the testimony bro. God bless.

I got to meet head at a church in St Joseph Michigan where he told his story and did a book signing and autograph session afterwards he prayed over me to one of the best experience of my life I found Christ a few years later

Head is a legend for this. Laid it all out and told his truth, and lead so many to God. This is proof the lord can use anyone, just pray, stay faithful, and remain diligent. If you slip and fall, seek him, he will extend a hand to raise you up any time. Praise God for this moment, it will always mean so much to me because I was also a troubled youth who loved KoRn as well, and to have taken the same path shows me therr is much more to his plan than I could ever understand.

I'm so happy for Brian! I love hearing other people's testimonies! The most surprising thing about giving my life to God was how He actually made me into a new person. There was a time when I was living a very sinful life that I didn't think I could give up, and didn't want to give it up, but after giving my life to Christ, I woke up one day and all of the sinful things I thought I loved, turned me off completely! There wasn't even any temptation anymore. For the first time, I could see clearly.
If life isn't working for you, if you feel lost, alone, if you're hurting, depressed, or physically ill, just reach out and call His name. Like Brian said, He is always close by, eager to embrace you and fill you with His grace and love. You will never regret it! Crazy, he got off the drugs and went on that last bender and it just didn’t have the same effect it used to. The same thing happened to me. I still tried multiple times over the course of a year “let me just see…” every single time, it was not what it used to be. And every single time I’d say wow is this really a sign to me that this part of my life is genuinely over? Sure enough, that part of my life was definitely over. By the grace of God, I’ve not had a drink or drug in over a year.

Thank God I never did drugs. I hate the smell of alcohol. Born again at 10 and lived in a agnostic home. Yes, the Lord sets us up for our future. Great testimony!
On the day where everyone celebrates evil and death this pops into my suggested. The only death we should be celebrating is the one to our flesh so we can rise a new in Christ. Brian almost has a Saul to Paul type story and he will bring thousands to the Kingdom

Just listening to Christians talk is so stupid, when my wife was 12 she was raped repeatedly for 4 or 5 years by her stepbrother and when I read the idiotic posts on here about gOd is watching over everyone and will protect us, it makes me sick to my stomach. Brian man, its nothing short of amazing. God has taken 3 addictions to 3.different drugs all at the same time. There is nothing he can't do, If We JUST ASK HIM AND LET HIM WORK IN OUR LIVES. HIS GRACE IS BOUNDLESS AND GOD IS NOTHING SHORT OF AWESOME!!!!

Tell your addiction about Jesus. Jesus has the power to remove your desires and give you His. Get in the word of God, His promises belong to you.

Love korn, grew up with korn. Love metal, grew up with metal. I lost track with metal when I discovered punk. 10 years later after giving my life to Christ, seeing Brian on a UA-cam video as a Christian, brought a tear to my eye man. I went back to my old metal folders and hearing korn again after like 15 years was awesome
