Congrats on the imminent second child! I'm sure I speak for all your subscribers when I say take your time and release content when you can. We'll be here waiting!
Great to see you still plugging away on the car, that's what matters. Of course we'd love to see it running, but priorities! Congrats on the impending little helper too!
The good thing about wrenching on something that isn't your daily driver is that there is plenty of time to make mistakes. Congrats on making another person:-)
Indeed, I learned that lesson the hard way with an Audi A4 I had - it spent most of its time up on axel stands, and that was my daily. Luckily we also had Sophie’s car 😅
HEL are awesome, and they do ship outside of the UK (or at least they did, when i got the braided brake lines for my BMW F650). Congrats on the new kiddo! Sounds like you were quite busy, so we'll forgive the rare and far apart uploads.. 😂
Always a good day when you see a new E&UB episode. Been following along since the Jalopnik article all those years ago! Hope to see Misty running and being used soon!

Japanese cars generally use bolts sizes of 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19 mm. I'm only half certain of the first and last but I don't even keep 11, 13, 15 and 16 in the same place because they will never be needed on my car. A less cluttered tool box makes things easier for me.
Congrats! As long as you still enjoy making videos, don’t stress the delays. We have all been there with our projects and it is relatable. You will be taking it on a voyage before you know it
Another awesome video. Thank you for making great content. Always makes my heart swell a bit to watch E&UB. Congratulations on the news of a second baby 🍼
It came from eBay - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324580545846 - they have other sizes too, wouldn’t recommended one though, unless you’re gonna grind out the opening first 😕
oh like that tool, I just cheat & make new pipes for ease. just get brake line, flare kit & ends be easy for ya, does brakes & clutch pipes :) if its any consolation i'm 4 years on mine, most of that being welding basically everything from sill to arches & jackpoints, I'm only now heading towards mot, engine is coming out first though :)
oh & tell Sophie that I said just because she's a mum doesn't mean she can't still get her hands dirty working on the car (or doing other things she likes), can always get the little one to hand you tools & finish taking bolts off once loosened etc, they then learn skills for life, you get to keep doing thing you like & its good bonding time, don't forget that she's also a person not just a mum & wife :) (meant friendly & from observations of my own life as a mammy)
Anyone know why my clutch engagement is so low on the pedal ? I have to press it basically to the safety switch to disengage the clutch and it instantly engages when releasing. New Cylinders in the front and back. Bleed the lines. No leaks on the lines. The cylinder piston is at the max extension. Please help..

All projects should be complete before starting a family. Your woman is unlikely to be available now for assistance due to the distraction. A very good video besides.
Loving watching your channel. An honest car build, where the car is tidied up and made mechanically sound. Fed up of watching show car builds.
Congrats on expecting your second kid, no rush on these videos I'm sure everyone is happy to wait
Thanks! 😄
@@EnginesandUnfinishedBusiness It is very exciting.
Glad to see Misty is still getting some Love! Congrats on the 2nd child as well! 🍻

This is an honest channel and not one that makes me feel like an idiot when I take 10 times as long to do a simple job...
If you like mistakes and jobs taking longer than they should you’ll really like the next few videos 😅

Bleeding seems to be the common trend when working on MR2's

Yeah, Misty is mostly those sizes, although there are a few 11s and 13s, but I don’t think that’s how she came from the factory 😆

More on the CB please!
We’re focusing on the MR2 as it needs to be drivable before we move house, but once Misty is drivable again it’ll be back to the CB500 😊

Play it again, Sam. Pay particular attention at the five minute mark.
