Ricky, I know I asked you to dyno it after you put the exhaust on but listening to it max rev scared the **** out of me. All I could think of was "how much is a full engine rebuild going to be"! Have a good weekend, Rob.

@@N1NJAKIDD I love Ricky's videos as much as anyone and if his customers, in this case me, don't let him use their cars for content the videos are going to stop, so absolutely no problem on my part. Those car choices are all mega and you’d be happy with any of them but the Audi R8 with cash is mega tempting. A true everyday supercar that sounds awesome. Naturally aspirated V10, come on.
R8 is great, but its still an Audi. You have to truly go exotic with the notable brands and yes the posable look does come into play. It's just a part of the DNA of supercars.
Listening to blokes talking about something they know is super relaxing. Maybe something to do with trust. I trust them therefore, I can relax. Good feeling. Thanks Boys.
Drove 458 same day as R8 plus on track day. Loved 458 but that R8 plus was on another level with that V10. For me R8. And I drove 520 MCLAREN and GTR same day

The chat about noisy brakes is interesting. My old F56 JCW Mini with brembos had noisy brakes around town that shut up when they got worked on the motorway, and my current Q5 55TFSIe sounds like the brakes are F***ed at low speed. I know they are not, but they sound gritty at low speed…

So for my £120K, it would 100% be the 458, even more so after this video, knowing I’d not need a breakdown truck on speed dial 😅

Answer to you mate. For 120 bags, I'm afraid I'd have an F430 in Grigio Silverstone with big rims, spaced and lowered (not many other ferarris tickle my pickle lads). Then with the change I'd have a well sorted and supercharged Audi B7 RS4 Avant in Imola Yellow, big boolaz, spaced and lowered with all the bells and whistles for a safe 900/1000bhp. Like that C6 RS6 you done for that fella, the black one on 138k miles. Then with the £1.99 change I'd have an Oreo MacFlurry. Thanks. Haha😂 Edit***i'd just pressed reply button and you mentioned the wheel arch gap on ferraris. I agree. Pinnacle of supercar but they dont get the stance/bodyprofile quite right on some of them.
Original red, black sports seats with black interior acro exhaust, tune it to get it up to the 560bhp it should be, lower the front by20mm, then the most important thing is to tune the gearbox to iron out the 0-10% jerky throttle as your rolling or cruising its horrible. Nick casberger who was tuning my ktm did it in 15 minutes and its transformed the car. Ferrari couldn’t do anything with it apart from a clutch learn which done nothing. Absolutely love it. 🔥
Hi, I was trying to explain the twitchy throttle to Ricky and I asked him to remap it on the dyno to try to smooth that out but your comment tells me I should be asking him to tweak the gearbox electronics. Could you let me know what Nick Casberger did to your car please? Thanks, Rob.
It would be a close toss up between a 458 or a 720 but I think would prob go the 458 as worried to many ways 720 going to go pop ! ( thanks Ricky,) Also prob cheaper to run
I owned a triple yellow 458 coupe for five years, huge fun to drive with short gearing and NA engine, chassis brilliant like an M3 for skidding so a lot of fun but at 26,000 my gearbox sprung a leak and needed new casing which was £7500 bill at Ferrari. Own an R8 V8 manual but have driven the V10 Plus and LP610 and the 458 is a far more fun car to drive, 458 proper drivers car fun and engaging whereas I find the R8 and Lambo a bit easy and end up doing daft speeds. Now own a 600 LT Spider and yeah 458 sounds better but the 600 is far more capable on track and roof down the whip cracks sound decent but the 600 has epic steering best of them all and is too fast but enjoying it a lot and a Spider is a must on a 600 for the top exit exhaust.
I'd wanted a Tour De France Blue 458 but there are only 65 blue 458's out of 1617 total UK RHD 458 Spiders. I had to accept next best in black, where there are a choice of 236. Clearly blue is rarely specified from Ferrari but is very sought after in the used market.

F430 engine is a 4 valve engine not a 5. Sorry to disspoint mate. I should know, I have one. Manual. In black. Sounds great stock too though. Just unplug the valves.

Man, that sound on that dyno! Can't say which I'd prefer to buy out of the options without driving them, but on looks and sound - 458 all day.
The F430 is not a 5 valve engine, the 360 was. The 458 is a further development of the F430 engine.

It's big attraction is the fact it was the last NA engine Ferrari did.

I completely agree and find the best day to have the roof down is a cold dry winter's day with the heating cranked up and the seat heater on.

I agree drove one on a track day aswell as a mercy, DB9 and a 992 was the best handling car by a long way
So, the DBS and 992 were better handling?
So you gave up covering the plates on the dyno 🤦🏻♂️🤣🤣

458 from your option list 😎🤩😊👌
Thanks Ricky, definitely 458!!!
I bought one and slapped a novitec exhaust on it. it sounds mega
