Torben Østergaard-Nielsen who became famous in Denmark for his former ownership of Nordic Waste in Randers. @@Shmee150 Glad you liked it here! - See if you can talk yourself into seeing the Lego family's car collection, it should be very secretive and special (afaik). The reason for our superhigh taxes is to avoid congestion, in a very small nation where most people live around Copenhagen. If the car tax was say 50% many more would buy cars and it would be gridlocked constantly (More than it already is). We have amazing public transportation though so it evens out, but what truely sucks is no Zealand based race tracks for track days and no fullsized fulltime drag strips.
The thing is on cars like the ones in this collection if it's 300.000 or 400.000€ it doesn't make that much of a difference if you have that kind of money. But when af VW Polo goes from 12.359€ to about 30.000€ it makes a massive difference to the average Joe or Judith.

i can assure you those cars are not registrered for road use and when they will be they will be flex leased to avoid paying the major taxation. If not, then its some serious ballers driving around, some of those cars is unfathomly expensive on danish plates, fully registered.

the fact that i had family who had access to SCC, and therefore i've sat inside a lot of those cars, is surreal. It's weird to see a lot of them again. Definitely sparked my interest in cars.... I dont know why, but i feel the urge to thank you, i have little to no pictures from inside, so seeing this again brought back some good memories.
i've literally had dreams of getting in this Collection. One time i was here filming some cars in the leasing area (they had a pagani huayra out in the leasing area at the point) but then the owner of selected car group asked me if i wanted to see some of his collection, what a day.
Wow Shmee as a fairly regular viewer of your channel I've almost become immune/numb to the amazement of both what you film and how well you talk about the subject. This video and collection is so outrageously awesome, that when you are in the flow of describing the vehicles around you it becomes apparent that you are an incredible source of information. I think you can do it better than anyone else on the planet. What a wonderful gift you are to us car geeks staring into our phones instead of being able to actually stand next to such collections. True professional, and we car guys are lucky to have him as a UA-cam automotive OG. What an amazing, rare, and desirable collection. DANG!
When in Denmark, it’s also really cool to visit Egeskov castle, the owner has a huge barn with all his automotive collectibles. The man has saved rather ‘normal’ cars from way back which are fun to see now. For fans of stuff on 2 wheels: he also has a barn full of motor bikes!
I am always absolutely amazed at the detail of the various cars that Tim seemingly has in his Memory Bank. I am sure there is more involved than a quick run through of the specs and numbers detail. However the comentry is amazing. Congratulations on an excellent result as usual.

The wildest thing about Denmark is that, inspite of it's size, there's a few of these very exclusive collections, some of which are open to the public, and some which are privately owned and tucked away for no-one to see. In these collections some of the rarest and most expensive cars ever find their place, and even though I've been growing up right next to one of the private collections of the Lego owner, I only have a glimpse/idea of what the 2-3 collections they even own. I saw on your socials, that you've visited one of these public collections/companies called MyGarage, of which the owner has even more crazy stuff hidden away from the public. Defitnately a worthy visit amongst Haaning Collection and Gubsø Garage aswell as Lysdahl Simonsen and Selected Car Group if you are in Denmark and love special cars!

Gran Turismo had a visit there, that one was even more special, jaw dropping classic car collection.

Absolute dream collection. I remember all the cars from my last visit at scg, very fun to see them again all though there was missing a few... (The orange f1lm and a kornigsegg agera r i believe).
Wow, a lot of amazing cars in that collection. The cars that were my highlight from that collection tour were the Ford GT, Aston Martin AMR 59, SLS Black Series, GT Black Series, GT8 and Zenvo TSR-S.
Thumbs up for mentioning the Ducatis. There's a super rare Superleggera (pale red flourescent) and the signed bike from reigning two-times world MotoGP champion Pecco Bagnia.
In 2020 I was at the selected car investment Locaton in middelfart with a national know racing driver which helped my buy a car(I live in Norway). We got a full tour of the building. The collection you see in Shmee’s video is nothing compared to what’s actually there. There are cars the regular car guy wouldn’t even know exist. 1/1 cars, cars owned by huge personas and cars you only see in books and have heard about. Shmee wasn’t allowed to show the full collection but if it ever saw the light of day people would loose their minds that this has been sitting in a warehouse in fucking Denmark.

Cars we probably didn't knew excited, the type that was build specific for world leaders shaiks from these famous sport brands... Basically cars that's even beyond hypercars value!! 😳😳

Certainly astounding collection. Rare cars obviously. Thing with me is I can't get so excited on them. Besides some Maserati and Porsche GT models Those super and hyper sport are so impractical. The Alfa was a nice one too, though😊
