Bill saying that he still has arguments with Patrice.....just says it all.
That one podcast where Bill said Patrice had kinda phoned it in at the end of his career and immediately took it back showed how much his friendship meant to Bill. For such a tough exterior Bill is a really sensitive guy and the way he contemplates his and others feelings is so incredible and he always has a beautiful perspective in the end.
Bills soft crab inside is what's in question for me. I fell head-over-heels for his early work.
Yeah im a broke pos, but not a dimwitted mess. The early material was magical. Procreation and marriage are silly. He recanted.
I tell ya I'm barely holding on to my doug stanhope thread.
..even that titan..I dunno
@@ethanravestein2057 hey if you remember which one id appreciate it
@@myflatlineconstruct You mustn't let things upset you so.
@@Sam-um9nu I wish I could remember, it was a podcast he did about a year ago in September from what I can remember
His face when he says " he is gone 11years " he is missing him in his heart
Yeah his eyes say it all ❤️❤️❤️
Is he?
@throwaway2129 Yes, it's a subtle change of expression but it's noticeable if you pay attention.
@@courtadbobtail600 is it?
@@throwaway2129 Yes.
Bill also set up a fund for Patrices mother after he died. He really loved his friend.
Missing some nuance. Half the comedians invited to that benefit nowadays Patrice would be utterly sickened by. Or how billy ostracized friends of Patrice from the benefit. I like bill but I also call out his Hollywood BS too. Dude trying to monopolize on his dead friend just doesn’t seem right. Especially when they had a falling out and then he’s just gonna swoop in and be some hero. Get outta here.
That’s a real friend .. You can see the hurt on his face just talking about him
@@cmendr011 semen doctor is completely right bout dis, Billy sold his soul
When did Bill sell his soul exactly?!. Seems to me the guy just grew up ( got older, less angry etc.) you'll see one day youngin'
@cmendr011 Yeah. It always rubbed me the wrong way how he excludes Anthony Cumia from Patrice benefits because of Bill's personal beef with Ant. Patrice and Ant were very close friends.
“Ugh Billy you make me sick with your self reflecting horse sh!t”
Patrice from beyond the grave probably
Somebody play "Creep"for this weirdo.
Hopefully something Patrice would've said
That “UGH” was the best from him
@@tjwest2605Is "hopefully" relevant/valid, if he's dead ?🤔
I can hear Patrice saying that.
On point 😂
Seeing Bill talk about Patrice...I can feel the loss. He left a giant sized hole in comedy when he passed. RIP Patrice
"Giant sized hole", I see what you did there
Patrice was anchoring the world, it went off the rails after he died.
Literally a MASSIVE hole
Bill's eyes really tell you how much he misses Patrice!
It’s relief.
True friends for life. Hard to find them..
Patrice is missed, he was damn good comedian.
I never forget how Bill once said somewhere that when they were, the gang in the cellar, and Patrice came last, it was o_O, Dads home.. buckle up! 😂 Patrice was the comedians comedian and he was the top dog there according to Bill 😊
Patrice and Bill Burr are two of my all-time favorites. The honesty from these two. I really miss Patrice. Fearless
He loved him like a sibling. I hate seeing Bill sad and I am sure Patrice would be so proud/happy for him if he was with us
When they say "people that die, never leave you" that's what they mean. If you know someone you can still have conversations with them because you know what they would say. Like my dad instilled himself in me throughout my whole life. I know when he's gone I'll still be able to ask him questions through me because he made sure he was a part of me!
Well yeah, a person NOT dying would literally not leave, that's a nonsensical quote or it's messed up, Idk, but this is a great video still, cheers
You will...trust me.
@realnigga oh SNAP
@realnigga pause😂
I agree with you, but I can hear Patrice saying, “mmmmm, yeah I don’t care. Move you’re blocking the TV.”
The look in Bill's eyes when they said "what was he like as a person"
RIP Patrice, you'll never be forgotten
Patrice’ conversations with Anthony Cumia are still the most entertaining shows ever.
very irrelevant
@@TrixieMatteI purely relevant
@@TrixieMatteIHow so? It's facts.
They're funny what do you mean@@TrixieMatteI
I still have arguments with him is the best compliment you can give that screams I love ya man😂
Bill has a huge heart . He loved Patrice . 11 years and he still gets teary
Patrice was truly one of the greatest comics of all time. You see guys like bill burr, Louis ck, and other comics giving him his flowers. I still look up his old videos and I’ve seen them many times, and they still never fail to make me laugh. A legend too bad this generation will never witness his greatness when he was alive.
Bill still argues with patrice made me smile 😂
Can't believe Patrice is gone man. I listen to him everyday and I just really discovered him this year. Like he was ever lost.
U ever watch his clips from tough crowd? God damn he was a legend
Amazing how many people never knew he existed till after he died. I just love Patrice!
I understand. I discovered both Patrice and Bill Burr around 2 years ago. I saw them on TV in passing, but didn't get to listen and watch them until COVID hit.
I have his appearances on Opie and Anthony on replay.
I feel the same with my brother, he’s been gone for 9 years but we still have conversations and arguments.
Must have been a real treat to be so close with such a special personality

Salute to Bill Burr. ✊🏾
I literally just finished listening to two Patrice O'Neal (RIP) radio interviews at work. He's gotten me thru many long days driving up and down these LA freeways.

The eyes are the windows to the soul. You can see he genuinely misses his friend.
You can also tell from his words because he said he misses him lol.
@Shiny Shiny keyword, "genuinely".
I think he's faking it
Well, you should know. You could be a bot, or just trying to troll....poorly.
I miss Patrice, he was beyond funny and " Elephant in the Room" was one of the greatest comedy specials ever.
I've listened to all the O&A shows on UA-cam that I can find. It really was a great environment for many comics but especially for Patrice. He really blossomed there, and we can still hear him
Brother if u have spotify all of the O and A episodes are on there. About 140 plus episodes. Enjoy bro, another Patrice Oneal disciple here
His delivery was classic. "Elephant In the Room" was a masterpiece. That was so crazy! His race angle was so funny vs stirring up trouble/discomfort. RIP
it sure was ! going to rewatch now ! thanks
elephant in the room was the most thoroughly and consistently funny comedy special ive ever seen to this day
Patrice was special. His cultural wisdom and adherence to self principle mirrored taboo, made others uncomfortable at times. He would say the thing. When everyone was done gasping, and the smoke cleared, he’d be standing on base. I miss him.
I love the realness of Bill. He is so genuine in his love and his obvious grief. He is missing his friend. RIP to Patrice Oneal
Saw Patrice a year before he past in Parsippany NJ....his set was uncontrollable laughter....I can sense the pain in his voice talking about him!!!! RIP PATRICE....PRAYERS FROM NJ!!!!
Bill genuinely has much love for him you can see it
The Patrice laugh as he mocks Bill. With Bobby Kelly and Jim Norton cackling with relief that its not their turn.
As a diabetic i wish he had taken better care of himself because we needed him so much .
Patrice and Anthony Cumia are the best comedy duo I've ever listened to. The two of them arguing is the funniest content ever created. Still listen to it today.
Burr blocked Cumia from the Patrice benefit aswell what a douche
It's a shame they've excluded Anthony from the Patrice benefits.
Shoutout to Weston on UA-cam for preserving that history
@@philgallagher9155Bill Burr excluded Ant, not they
I can almost hear Patrice laughing at “Billy” and his vulnerable moment callin him a p***** 💯😂🕊️
I still watch "Elephant in the Room" on UA-cam every now and then. That was a masterpiece by Patrice in my opinion. Just one of the funniest sets I've seen from anyone.
"Spell banana!"
"B-a- uh- n-a-..... I love you mama..."
That is the funniest stand up ever, I make people watch it with me sometimes and they look at me like I'm crazy, but hey that was Patrice for you, if you got him you would laugh your ass off.
Patrice is so incredibly underrated. Every time he opened his mouth, it was gold, whether it was comedy or a serious conversation
Keeping it real will kill you, but it will also make you a legend. Burr was on the cusp of being a legend so now he has to hear Patrice in his head for the rest of his life
“He was everything”
He says everything so specifically and relatable, i love how he says anything. You can actually hear emotion in his voice
That last bit when he said "man what would they be saying about this? " is relatable
I really appreciate witnessing this kind of vulnerability in men, because it defines the male platonic relationship in such a pure and loving way. It’s devastating to witness strong men cry, because of the love they have for their lost brothers, and yet, it’s cathartic because of the strength of these bonds.
Are you a woman? Dont mean No disrespect just wondering if i deducted right from this comment
@@grzexd yep, I’m sure my wording made it obvious ha.
You could just see it in Bill's eyes how much he really cared for and loved Patrice, and how it's still pains in that he's gone
Patrice was a god amongst men
Hyperbole much?
@@ramiroromo9767 no he was a literal god amongst the average man, when it came to breaking women down philosophically.
@@ramiroromo9767 Yes, but hyperbole is a poetic device.
That's normal.

Women that’s who.
I cried watching this! Patrice was my favorite comedian!
Patrice was one of the funniest humans ive ever seen. If he was alive today , he would be 1 of the top comics/entertainers out there today
Seeing a best friend missing his best friend hits hard!
Patrice was such an amazing and fearless comedian. I really wish he were still here and able to be a part of some of these shows and roasts.
The guys in the studio were like " 50 bucks if bill doesn't roast Mike's pants"😂😂😂
When you can pick up on the subtle changes in his voice you know he was his friend and he misses him...
Heart-breaking, Patrice really was one of a kind, and had the kind of insights into the world that even the likes of Carlin and Richard Pryor would have envied.
I was fortunate enough to hang out with him after a JFL Nasty Show and he was SUCH a genuine gentleman. Awesome personality
It's like having a brother that you have arguments with but still love.
Wish he was still here 💯
having that bond with a person is really intense
I didn't appreciate Patrice while he was alive. After he died and I saw everyone's reactions, I went back and watched his work. The guy was gifted.
I wrote a song when Patrice died. It’s called Man Ain’t Supposed To Cry. It was surreal getting to perform it on Opie’s show since those are the walls I was talking about in the first verse.
What episode do I find this brother? I would really like to check it out. Hope your doing good man.
You can see the Love.....awesome
Patrice's influence still goes strong
Bill saying "deflector shields" in casual conversation is real character development
It’s really sad because you can just read his face on how much he still misses him. It was really cool to hear him say he still has arguments with him
Nobody was better than Patrice
Love U Billy Boy. Viva Patrice O'Neal
good question best fucking response ever!🙏🏼 RIP my G
Sorry for your loss, sir 🙏🏿 Patrice is the greatest
I still re-watch Opie and Anthony clips just to hear Patrice again...
And when Bill Burr was funny.
My heart 💙 patrice deserved all the recognition in the world he was hella funny glad Bill got to be close with him
I Love Bill and the Great one Patrice I still listen to O and A to see what Patrice O’Neal would say even tell this day (LOVE)
Bill is the goat in comedy today. To me anyway. I think him and Patrice would have had some classic podcast episodes together. 🐐 🎤 👑
Patrice on O&A, there is nothing better. RIP

I just realized how fun it would be to have Patrice as Huell in Breaking Bad. They'd make an incredible duo on screen
Thank you, Big Bill!!!
Same BB. I love him so much. Never loved, love...
Patrice, the greatest, Bill Burr, runner up. Nuff said.
Absolutely loved him.
Love both of these guys.
Phew this is tough. Im having nostalgia anxiety attack now. Miss You Patrice ❤
Listening to Patrice in that one radio show with Anthony and now bill burr pod cast I imagine them both in a podcast or even radio and how amazingly legendary that content would have been.
They both are great men ❤
I do miss Patrice, too. Side note, I think full beard looks good on Bill.
Patrice has helped me through so much personal sh!t hes basically my Zodiac sign.
I hear him in my head when im down.
Patrice- Come on dooode get up and stop crying like a b!tch. Yo Goofy Yass is making me uncomfortable.

I would love to go back and forth with Patrice because i know WTF I’m talkin about and so does he.
We are dark heyoka super empaths and i don’t think he ever realized this about himself.
Ego death is key to self improvement and key to not allowing others to hurt you. You cant be hurt when you know yourself through and through.
Try shrooms and LSD if you need help killing your ego and pride.
@@LEXICON-DEVIL I agree. I need a good psychedelic trip bad
@@u7angbe If youve never done either make sure you are generally okay. For example, don’t do it if someone just died or a break up. If you do, make sure you are somewhere beautiful like going camping preferably and are around solid friends with a good vibe. The overwhelming beauty of nature, especially draw distance, will over power your inner sadness and reconnect you with what really matters in life.
An 8th is a solid dose of Psilocybin if its a trusted source. Closed caps are stronger then open caps because the dust that gathers at the bottom is what falls out. I prefer to eat it with a lil creamy peanut butter. You can also make it a tea. The tea will be stronger but the trip will be shorter.
1 tab of trusted LSD is good. 2 If your experienced. 3 if you dare. 4 or more is dangerous since it varies from source to source. Usually if its done like a classic 70s tab it will be on a piece of square paper with pencil marks. lol
These aren’t drugs in the normal sense. Trust me, dont do acid 2 days in a row its a waste. I recommend no more then 1 to 2 LSD trips a year Max and 1 to 2 Psilocybin trips a year. It will keep each trip strong and meaningful.
These aren’t drugs for escape like alcohol or cocaine. These drugs make you stop running from your problems and face them once and for all. Heal your soul and embrace who you are and harness what you dislike about yourself because weather you like your shadow or not its still apart of you.
🤙
@@LEXICON-DEVIL I've done shrooms but I need a good trip the kind that will lead to the death of my ego and all the good stuff
