that "man wants to be alone but dont wanna be by ourselves" hits what i'm feeling right now. i dont understand what im feeling but patrice completely described what im feeling.
Thanks for releasing this, still criminally underrated in my book. Rest easy big man, we miss you, definitely one of the greatest to ever do it.
"Men want to be alone. But we don't want to be by ourselves." God, this is so damn true!!!!! We NEED our alone time. To collect our thoughts. To relax. We don't need our girlfriend/wife nagging us constantly, asking things of us, needing to tell us some stupid story we didn't want to hear. Constantly needing to reassure you we aren't mad. That everything is okay. Just let us chill, for fuck's sake!!!! In silence. For a little bit. Each day. Please. For the love of Jesus. And don't take it personally! We aren't asking to break up. We aren't saying we don't love you. We are just asking to be left alone sometimes. Read our body language. Give us some space. And don't take that as your cue to go cheat on us!!! Seriously. This needs to be a public service announcement.
BREAKING!: Globally women have reported feeling the same way.
Women are incredibly insecure, so they feel a constant need to confirm that their man isn't about to leave them. I think much of it is projection, they know how fickle they are and assume that we are just as whimsical about weighing options and possibly ending it at any moment or cheating.
@@PHE-nomenon Then what's the problem😂?!
@@jwil7954 lol who knows.
Women never grow up need attention
He left such a long-lasting legacy on real, observational humor. No one can deliver line after line and work the crowd like him. Probably the only two that come close are Dave and Kevin.
He managed to disguise his philosophy as comedy, a true genius
This describes him the best
So true. Carlin did this too.
Good insight. He just used comedic writing structure.
I always come back to this gem. Patrice was a comedic genius.
Hilarious one of the greatest of all time 🤣🤣
Patrice was one of the greatest comedians of all time. RIP
Ain’t that better, sweating...wrapped in a hot vine...can’t hear the tv... got a dry sandwich
AINT THAT BETTER
😂
Yo i was dying that whole part
God bless Patrice. Gone too soon.
That was too many nights on my couch
I'm literally in tears laughing hysterically watching that part, trying not to wake the babies up.. that bit was GENIUS and so true 😂😂😂😂
Man had me in tears hahahaha
My granddad often said: Men are simple..all we want is " sex, sandwich, and silence." The baseball bit reminded me of that.
I'm a woman, and that's what I want too. It actually describes "extreme introverts" very well too, no matter what gender. 😊
Oh we have a unicorn here 🙄
@@richardbutkis Ikr, women and "extreme introverts" are mutually exclusive...
Well, I guess if Riley Dennis can identify as a women, so some women can be chill like a dude then... ┐( ̄∀ ̄)┌
@@engrishsheep one can identify however they want but that doesn't mean it aligns with reality. There is THE truth and then there's your truth.
I get plenty of sex and sandwiches from my wife. Silence is on another level as I get plenty of silence as well. She's not learned how to speak much English yet. Yes, no, hungry, horny, boom boom, sleepy, shower, you like?, ok, baby and toilet are the only words she's proficient at. I ain't teaching her shit either!
The White dude in stitches laughing at the end... lol 😂😂😂😂
Yes 😂❤
It's great how truth explained with perfect timing can be this funny. This man is an artist!
I owe this man alot of my happiness. Nothing but respect Black Phill
This dude is channelling a different kind of ancestral spirit. God bless.
There will never be another Patrice O'Neal. Legend.
Everyone needs to watch his Éléphant in the Room a real masterpiece
By far one of the best sets ever. Especially fishing so your friends know you know how to fish. Lol
This is the best stand up routine of all time hands down.
The greatest of all time - a comedians comedian blessing us from the afterlife 🕊
Partice O'neal is the inner voice of men
true that
Yep...
“...a dry sandwich you don’t want,” is too funny every time he says it
At the end where he goes from imitating her voice to his voice interjecting narration and logical commentary but also parenthetically about what she's doing is pure genius. ... lol 🤣
I can see why him and Bill Burr were such good friends.
So true. Very similar styles.
And they’re both from Boston
@Mehmet Abraham lived in jersey, was from Boston
He was born in Jersey or the City and raised in Boston then returned the Jersey
Very similar outlook on life 🖤
We'll never get another Patrice , but we need someone like him
"Mean it! Mean the kiss!"
LMAOOOO
😂
PAPA PATRICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Patrice was, is & will be the greatest to ever do it.
i get emotional every time when the video ends. i didn't know him but i miss him
Every time I listen it’s just as funny, if not more than the last. He is one of the kings. Legend. RIP
I've watched this a thousand times. It is funny everytime
This is a perfect piece of comedy. It never gets old.
Unlike Patrice
Patrice O’Neal had a style all his own when doing stand up. Different comics have different ways of sharing their views on dating and relationships, and Patrice could make you laugh using only a few phrases with his facial expressions. As a comic, I continue to learn from him. RIP Patrice, and keep making them laugh in heaven.
One of the most unapologetic men that ever lived. rest easy patrice
Just think of the material and the crowd and how he pulled this off... greatness.
He literally could work "any type" of crowd.
@@MrTee12 Would like to see how he'd do with a Black crowd. Def Comedy Jam style.
@@lovestory20148 he can do it. It ain’t like he ain’t speaking facts about all women
God bless the YT algo for randomly suggesting this . Absolute gold !
There has never been anyone that can make me laugh more than Patrice. I watch all his episodes on OndA and anywhere else. He made me love stand up comedy.
One of those comedians that I wished got his flowers before his passing. I see so many people listening and laughing at his old stuff. RIP to a great one!
What a great time to be alive, living in a time of technology and someone that's gone on make you laugh so HARD 🙌🏽. "ain't that better". LORD HAVE MERCY . Thank GOD for laughter.
“Men wanna be alone, but we don’t wanna be by ourselves”
Man I said this almost word for word yesterday and got told I was bonkers it’s so crazy to hear it here now😂
There's a near endless amount of Patrice content on youtube, check out old episodes with him on the opie and anthony show
How relationship stereotypes transcend so many races and countries never ceases to amaze me and warm me that somewhere else someone is being driving crazy by there partner as well is reassuring
