Saber grind or Hollow? Personally hate hollows man so many knives with potential were ruined with hollow grinds to the point i despise them. Im.not saying they dont have a purpose just disgusted with them personally
Split the wood frozen oak can when it's old enough you just let sit in a cold dry plus the moisture will freeze and you'll only have to hit once it'll split cause it's brittle a lot easier
Why the hate for the strength of the aluminum hole? It’s for a lanyard, you’re not going to be belaying off a cliff with the lanyard hole of any knife. That aluminum is probably stronger than any cordage you would be using for it anyway.
I just imagine the kid next door playing basketball, wondering why his neighbor is talking to himself while beating the shit out of a knife chopping wood.
Imagine a kid trying to start up a youtube channel next door shooting hoops with this guy malleting a Walmart knife into a log for attention and complaining about a kid being outside working on a talent 😂
I saw one of these at Walmart and it looked cool...2 years ago it would have been $25...but still, it could save a life...I was just worried where it is made......i highly doubt Switzerland!
I'm gonna say something a tad bit controversial but it's my opinion. I...... recommend this over the Gerber Strongarm. Reason I say that is this thing is a tank and it sits at 10 dollars below the ORIGINAL Strongarm price which has jumped from being 50 bucks to freaking 90. While this can be had for 40 bucks and after seeing you wrench on it this thing is beefy. Also correct me if I'm wrong but looking at specs it seems that AUS-8 steel is a tad better than 420HC but that could be chalked up to personal preference and the manufacturer of the steel.
It wouldn't be stronger if the aluminum thing at the end was part of the steel tang. Tangs don't really get stronger after 3/4 of their length. In fact, full tangs aren't even the strongest knives, there are tons of plastic injected handle ones that take beatings harder than any full tang knife, while weighing less in hand to boot.
She made it thru the torture chambers and even being bent a bit....The testing was very good but I don't think you should baton your knives as you should have an axe, steak knife, butter knife, camp knife, bushcraft knife, fillet knife, whittler, and the kitchen sink when out in the wild....LOL....Good stuff...
Lol i baton mine knives to why because this is American and I bought them meaning if I want to use a grinder on it I can or use it for a pry bar my opinion 😂

Very strong
Nice heat treat 👌
Skinny freaking handle designs always puzzle me.
I could definitely add some better scales and a leather sheath . Call it the ...
Custom TURD
Lol
I would believe the tang is that way to aid in the manufacturing process , probably fits in a clamp of some description.
I mean. It’s possible. But highly doubtful
P4P one great knife for the price ,👍
Is it as tuff as the ares ?
Saber grind or Hollow? Personally hate hollows man so many knives with potential were ruined with hollow grinds to the point i despise them. Im.not saying they dont have a purpose just disgusted with them personally
It’s a saber. And I couldn’t agree more
Split the wood frozen oak can when it's old enough you just let sit in a cold dry plus the moisture will freeze and you'll only have to hit once it'll split cause it's brittle a lot easier
Little giant pump are amazing lol cool video thinks
They should have made the metal stick straight out the back and flat instead of having a weird angle.
Why the hate for the strength of the aluminum hole? It’s for a lanyard, you’re not going to be belaying off a cliff with the lanyard hole of any knife. That aluminum is probably stronger than any cordage you would be using for it anyway.
I didn’t have a problem with the hole or the aluminum. Did you even watch?
Cant find it in Canada.
I just imagine the kid next door playing basketball, wondering why his neighbor is talking to himself while beating the shit out of a knife chopping wood.
I'm pretty picky about my knives but for 40 bucks I'll give this one a shot after seeing this. Great video
Thank you.
Your neighbors are probably saying the same thing about you making all that pounding noise 😂 them Redwings can use some oil bud
😂👍
It’s definitely better and cheaper.
Is it better than the Gerber "Strongarm"?
Probably on the same level
Yeah, I'm sure now. Nothing that I use it for will come close to that abuse!😄
💪🏼
I hate batoning knives but everyone has their own bushcraft style and there's nothing wrong with that
It wouldn't be stronger if the aluminum thing at the end was part of the steel tang. Tangs don't really get stronger after 3/4 of their length. In fact, full tangs aren't even the strongest knives, there are tons of plastic injected handle ones that take beatings harder than any full tang knife, while weighing less in hand to boot.
😊thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you for watching
Awesome video
Thanks!
My respect for the hammer 🔨
Lol
She made it thru the torture chambers and even being bent a bit....The testing was very good but I don't think you should baton your knives as you should have an axe, steak knife, butter knife, camp knife, bushcraft knife, fillet knife, whittler, and the kitchen sink when out in the wild....LOL....Good stuff...
😂 you’re so right
@@peterbiltknifeguy Why thank you as that means alot to me as I now can sleep comfortably....😁😁👍👍😁😁👍👍🤣🤣
