Everything looks all red, blue, purple. It's all dark, the band members look like they're miles away from each other because the cameras rarely show the whole band just each individual member, Phil is definitely on the strong stuff. It just has a weird air to it. This whole concert does seem dreamy.
Dude pantera was so close to creating some weird black metal southern rock fusion with the final concerts I really wish we got just one more album to see where the sound was going
@@BigDemz well they were just going to take less than a month off and going to perform in europe in september 13 with slayer i think, they were already in europe when 9/11 happened so they canceled the leg of the tour not knowing yet that they werent going to perform together anymore.

The RITS era was really about how they are 'just getting' started and gonna go on 'forever' and 'never change.' Well, in a way that was all true. The band ended but their legacy was just getting started, the music will live on forever, and because the band ended, it will never change.

Pantera did changes people's lives. Phil said that in his response to dime's death video and I believe it to be true. for those who truly loved Pantera's music, they changed our lives.
You're true man. Pantera changed our lives during every new experience and helping us to be happier, stronger, saddest, every new emotions we wanted to feel in that moment.
I saw Pantera live back in 94, when I was 18 years old. They were already my favorite band then by far. Since then, I've seen more than 50 shows, listened to many, many different bands and yet, when I see this live performance, nothing has thus far matched their level of energy...! Their grooves just sink right into me!! I cant help but feeling this surge of adrenaline pumping up my veins with this riff! What a Monolithic Band. Pantera 4 ever.
It’s fun listening to Pantera shows from year to year and hear Phil go from Halford-like highs, to breathless shouting, to a mix of shouting and screaming, to full on black screams.
Listen to how fucking heavy that opening riff was. God damn. Can't we all just agree that he did as much for heavy metal riffing as most of those other guys have done for heavy metal solos??? I mean come on, he's like a modern day Iommi for goodness sake.
It’s the difference between tactful musicians who know how to maximize on their strengths, and those who rely on fluff to build up their character and tone.
"Only" 4? Dude, that's pretty normal for a band. I've never been a big fan but I watched Motörhead in the 90s. Three people on stage and it was like a god damn airstrike.
I just found myself jamming in an air guitar frenzy...!! Man...3:35 Thats just TOO MUCH POWER!!! The emotional intensity of Pantera... Still unmatched.

Oh yes for sure, I never listened to this song fully until about a month ago. I dropped everything and listened to it on replay and screamed suck my giant dick while moshing in my living room. Still headbanging
Watching this is bittersweet. We know now how much these guys probably couldn't stand to be around one another anymore, and it shows. Rex looks like he'd rather be doing anything else.
