Started this 2 weeks ago and I can confidently tell you that it worked. From waist 34, I now measure 31.5 wow!
Did 3 reps of this exercise just in the morning and was on a calorie deficit. Not stopping till I reach my desired waist measurement -28
To anyone who is skeptical, I truly believe this exercise helped my diastasis. I started doing this workout (on top of my normal routine) the week it dropped 5 days a week. I looked roughly 6 months pregnant. I now currently look 3 months pregnant, which is great considering I've been looking 6 months pregnant ever since I gave birth....3 years ago lol.

Thank you brother! I gave birth to my daughter a year ago and also had cancer along with a partial hysterectomy 4 months before my husband and i found out i was pregnant. Praise be to YAH. I've never done any kind of postpartum ab exercises since my first child 23 years ago. I'm currently 8 months postpartum with my fourth. That entire time being out of shape and feeling hopeless. Ab workouts for me never seemed to be comfortable at the level of me needing to start from scratch. In the first few days I saw a noticeable difference. By the end of the 14 days I have a stomach I forgot I've had for over 20 years and that's huge!!!

I’ve been pregnant for 63 months (7 kids) and have been doing this exercise 5 days a week for 16 months. I still need a lot more work. So this is part of my daily routine.
Just started this challenge today. My baby is almost two but my pouch has refused to go away. In taking fitness seriously now more than ever. I really enjoyed this workout. I did it after a 35 mins indoor walk and I felt a calming effect with this workout. Thank you so much Mr London 👍👏

Oh my... Had a health issue so I had to take a break from exercising. I'm sure it'll work for anyone if you're also in a caloric deficit. Add some other simple exercises to burn more calories.

I'm not done with the 14 days journey but my parents recognized the reduction in my belly after 3 days. I had a CS in 2017, and i just had another CS 4 months ago. I'm eating a lot of proteins, and i cut down my carbs. I stick to serving sizes. This exercises really work ❤❤🎉

You cannot spot reduce an area. Fat comes off genetically. Also hormones play a huge role as well. The only way to lose fat is a caloric deficit and exercise. If you want to look a certain way you have to train to make your body adapt that way. Example long distance runners are thin and lean so that they can run long distances. Sprinters have huge amount of muscle mass because they use power to run short distances so they need those muscular legs. Eat and train according to what you want.
An ab routine and a diet will get you somewhere but nowhere you actually want to be. It takes much more then that.

@@javachip5324 hey! So body shape is genetic. You are either born with the hourglass or not. You can not change the shape of your pelvis bones. What you can do is increase the muscle on the glutes and lats. This will give your body a more hour glass shape because your waist will be smaller then both back and hips. Be weary of your obliques during heavy lifts they come in more then you realize especially on squats, arm raises, and chest presses. The more you train these muscles the blockier you will become.
I recommend a split like so :
Day 1 legs glute/hamstring focused
Day 2 push chest shoulders triceps
Day3 legs glute/quadriceps focused
Day 4 pull back bicep abs
Find yourself a trainer who actually cares about your results. Most of the time they are only interested in your wallet so be very mindful of who you give your time and money too. They’re goal is to keep you as a client so they can keep making money off of you. A real trainer will help you become better then then and eventually you won’t need us. Shop around and see there client history and if they’ve had results. If they all look the same as a year ago that trainer sucks.

I’m 41 and have had this issue for over 14 years and never knew this was an exercise that could help mending these muscles back together. I’ve gone to several doctors and none really understood how insanely agitating it is. I’ve also tried personal trainers who always try to push me beyond what my body can take by doing traditional crunches. It’s very unappealing and uncomfortable. Mostly, I’ve felt ignored by these professionals because they lack the experience of dealing with this specific situation. I’m so glad you have this platform and address this muscle condition with a much simpler solution to get rid of the abdomen gap. Thank you for creating this video and educating us about it. I’m adding this to my daily regimen.
Curious - how did this play out for you? I have muscle separation from a nephrectomy almost 10 years ago and haven't found anything to fix the pouch yet. I also have one above my waist due to the surgery

This exercise has helped tremendously but should be accompanied with the proper eating habits as he describes in the video to accompany these exercises. This works! This is basically what I do in Pilates and my core has changed so much. Remember to pull the bottom abs up as you crunch.

Thank you for addressing this, many woman have diastasis recti with a 10 or more finger gap, with separated pelvis pubis symphisis joint separated at the cartilage. There's no way that gap or pain level could do these exercises....for those with severe severe weakness whom cannot lift a leg nor be pain free due to this condition Julie Tupler RN also has seated exercise plan which won't stress out the pelvic joint instability that often comes with this. For those who have been told they need surgery pins and plates on pelvis seek a rolfing practitioner also known as a structural integration therapist, they are miracle workers to support additionally to help the body become ligament and fascia properly. I couldn’t believe my eyes when he did the first exercise all casually without realizing the huge weight he has on his shoulders to properly *educate* potential viewers and not sell them on a flat belly pipe dream. I already saw comments where women could not do this. I’m 6 weeks postpartum, I’ve healed diastasis recti before and it was NOT by jumping into exercises like this!
Stumbled on this wanting a change-up in my abs routine. They're so boring and people keep making me do planks, which my wrists hate. I came for the novelty, stayed for the spoken encouragement during the workout!

Je ne sais vraiment pas comment te dire merci. Avec trois grossesses rapprochés, j'ai eu un gros diastasis, quand on voit mon ventre,on dirait que je suis enceinte or que non.Je cachais parfois mon ventre pour sortir, j'ai commencé à perdre confiance en moi mais avec tes exercices,mon ventre a drastiquement diminué rien qu'en une semaine.

Ok so I’ve had 5 c-sections and so my abs are trash. I normally seek women with children for my abs but I saw so many positive reviews I decided to try it out. Today was day one of fourteen. Only thing I can say is that the workouts feel doable I always struggle to last because again my core is trash so I can’t hold positions for too long and I get discouraged. 😊So I’m actually feeling hopeful 😅 with this one so far so good thanks 😊

Yes this does work … I’m on day 10 .. improvement started showing day 2 … 14 day tryout will be up on 7/9 /23 .. and this from someone who has been dealing with this fupa for 25 years 4 children and 1 c section and he is right crunches and aerobic along will not help this because I have been excercising 2 years and just getting results with the fupa. I thought that I would have to get a tummy tuck and I thank God I don’t have too. I will continue to do these exercises every day not missing not one day

I have this from being super morbidly obese for most of my life.I'm 55years old now. I've lost 15 and a half stones and I have about 4 stone left to lose. I'm 5ft 7.5 inches.I have never been a healthy weight so I have no idea what weight I should be. I'll know when I get there. I don't want to be skinny. I never saw this sort of content from a man. He's right though. I never did any crunch OR sit-up exercises after having my daughter but after learning how to properly activate my core I was able to heal my diastasis recti relatively quickly. Even achieved a postpartum 6-pack which was the first 6-pack I've ever had in my life.

5 months after my c section here. 37 and first baby… I had a feeling my body wouldn’t be like it was before I got pregnant and I feel to old to think it will ever get back to normal again. But I’m willing to try this! Plus he’s nice to look at while trying to get the body right!
I have 4 pregnancy in the past and the mommy belly does take a toll on my mental health. But I have been doing these kind of exercises from another UA-camr for a week now. And these exercises are the best for me because I can’t do intense workout atm. And by following a slow and control workout like this, it really help my core muscle. When you do it right you can feel the burn in the mid section or lower area of your belly. Be consistent and you will see results. It will be a slow process but you will get there !

This definitely works, my 3 finger gap is now down to 1 1/2ish lol! Just do it and stay consistent! I also do intermittent fasting with 1 “cheat” day on the weekend. I don’t eat before 12pm or after 8pm. I drink 2 tbsp of ACV in water before a meal and before going to sleep. I do this everyday along with my regular workout routine which I do in a fasted state. 😊

@@MillennialMountainMama no, I stopped breastfeeding over 1 year ago and gained the weight back afterwards. At this point since starting this workout I no longer have diastasis recti at all, it’s completely closed. I also walk 1 hour a day at least 4-5 times a week.

I am 47 with 2 kids, and after having kids the belly has a mind of its own. It takes hard work, but abs workouts actually work! Awesome workout!

@@ab-jc8nv yoga is great, but i don't do yoga. I started by doing 20 min workouts 3 x per week, and just keep focusing on abs workouts. I still do abs workouts 3 x per week. So far so good :) It took a loooong time before my lower abs firmed up, there were times when I did not think it was even possible after certain age. But with hard work and consistency, it is possible!

This is only day 2 for me, but I for sure feel more strong and stable and able to keep my core in when upright. I'm Mama to 10 and I was my first son that destroyed my belly 😅... Horrible stretch marks, diastasis recti and herniated belly button, but it's all been worth it! You Mama's know !! Thank you Mr London for this workout, I'll keep going!!
I had my first baby at 20 yo. I bounced right back. I actually got smaller. I had my 2nd baby at 24. Bounced right back. I had my 3rd baby at 26. Again, I bounced right back, and that year was the smallest I ever was. Then I had my 4th baby (she's almost 2), and I did not bounce back this time. I follow so many diastasis recti workouts on UA-cam (this is one of my favorites), and let me tell you, it really does work. I'm close to getting my flat tummy back for summer!!!!!

I had an open myomectomy for large fibroids. I've had a "mommy pouch" without actually being a mommy for years. It really affects my self-esteem. I'm definitely going to try these.
I understood how you feel. I have a huge fibroid that make like I am pregnant everytime even after post-partum. That's really get most of the time😢

Wow so this is my first time ever seeing this video but I do these exact workouts I can tell you ladies they will work if you do them at least 3x a week. I started back working out when my second baby turned 5 months old and really being consistent he’s is now 8 months and I’ve been doing these exact exercises my waist went from 33 inches to now 25 inches. Diastasis recti is mostly healed up now. I also run on the treadmill for 10-15 on top of these exercises. But they do work drastically. If you have diastasis recti please do these consistently. I promise you they will be a game changer in your healing

At first, I was a bit sceptic because of the short period, only 2 weeks, but I did it every day and the gap in my diastasis is almost closed. My belly looks definitely better.
I RECOMMEND to every mummy to start with this exercises. I will keep train with your videos. They definitely work.

My last baby will be 1 yrs in February 22nd mother of two doh and ever since my belly been looking like a 4 month pregnancy started doing diastasis recti exercises this morning but found this one so I will stick with yours.

One key part I learned at PT that he is not mentioning here is incorporating kegels and HOW TO KNOW you are engaging your transverse abdominus while doing all these exercises.

Result is awesome . I got 1-2 inches (1 inch maybe my bloating too so definitely 1 inch reduced ) difference when measured before and after. And I feel great And now moved on to fupa challenge and almost going to finish fupa in few days .. I found myself improved a lot in what I can do from day 1 after consistently doing it.. Becoming more stronger day by day 😊💪

The Lord sent me here! This video is seriously an answer to my prayer. I am 40 years old. My husband and I had our 1st daughter when I was 25 y.o. I bounced back like a rubber ball. Fast forward 10 years and at 35, daughter #2. 14 months later and daughter #3. The bounce back was non-existent. Our youngest just turned 4 y.o. in March. I still look 7 months pregnant! It's literally debilitating to my self-esteem. I am starting this challenge immediately!!!!!!! 🎉 I will be back with an update!

What happened ?
These exercises work!!!!!! I saw results almost immediately, so what I started to do was do the exercises in the morning and before I went to bed. I still do them to this day, twice a day. I coupled the exercises with an apple cider vinegar concoction to burn belly fat. (6 oz water, 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar, 3 teaspoons honey, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice). I have also dropped sugar and carbs recently so I am seeing results a lot faster!
I’m going to do this every week day for 6 months. I will come back with an update. Best of luck everyone 😊

@@brittany_ileen_4089I didn’t do it as frequently as i said I would. I definitely see a difference. I added pelvic floor exercises to my routine and I feel like my core is definitely stronger. I hope that helps.
Ok guys I’m 9 weeks postpartum with cSection and have diastasis. I indoor cycle 25 minutes 5 days a week and I’m trying this challenge starting tomorrow will update you all on the result.

@@MrLondonTV That was a great workout every time I try to do the diastasis recti / pelvic core exercises I can never tell if my stomach muscles are Engaging but the breathing exercise we did I FINALLY could feel my transverse Abdominous muscles and It felt so good! I will definitely add this into my daily workout routine I do both the beginner fupa challenge and the advanced daily and now this as well. Thanks so much for all you do to help women feel better and get in shape!
