Thank you for your comment. V85TT is a great motorcycle! V85TT and V9 might be a bit different. According to the workshop manual, V85TT requires 180cc of 75W-140 transmission oil, while V9 requires 210cc of 85W-140 oil.
Thanks Marco! My 2016 model manual says 210cc, but it was around 150cc on actual. It might have been remained in the transmission box, because of high viscosity.

on my 2020 V9 the manual says 160cc... and it happened to have some minor spillage during my ride.

@@wayproscyclewerks yes actual level has been lowered because some remains inside, otherwise it spills from the breather valve
A rushed dealership mechanic will never take this much care to torque bolts to proper specs.
