As you said, it's like a little secret that you only understand when you own one, if you just ride one for a short time you might not understand, but once you have ridden one for a while, you just get it and no other bike makes you feel like a Guzzi. I love mine too. Great video just not sure how many people we want to tell about the secret that is Moto Guzzi.
As far as Italian bikes, I have owned a ducati 860, moto morini 500 camel, laverda 3cl 1000, cagiva 650, and currently have a 1989 Moto Guzzi Mille GT 1000 and a 2013 Moto Guzzi Stone 750. Have owned several German bikes to include BMW and Zundapps. Grew up with British bikes--meaning Triumph and BSA. Have never been interested in Harley. Owned several Suzuki's to include 2-stroke models and the Wankel rotary 500. The Moto Guzzis have been my favorite above all the rest. Quirky, reliable, tractor-like in that the Japanese "refinement" is not there--but if you love just being connected to machinery and sound--Moto Guzzi!--mike battle
I enjoy the K, have had her 20 years come this April, only around 44ish thou on clock genuine. Have every MOT from first. She’s in the se spec but thankfully not that white and blue colour , a nice gold flaked red metallic. A real luxury mile muncher. My first K was a very early K100 ‘A’ reg, 8 valve head not the later 16. I liked the style of the early naked’s headlamp nacelle etc.
Great story, thanks. Great real passion expressed. I too, love my V9 Roamer. Previously an '83 850 LeMans Mk3 owner. It had to be a Guzzi. Soul on two wheels . Cheers !😅
Thanks for watching, glad to hear you enjoyed the video. I love to own a Guzzi one day, have reviewed both the V7 Special and the V9 Bobber and absolutely loved them both. I’ve got the V100 on loan from Motoguzzi in a few weeks, really looking forward to riding that bike
I started to drive guzzi as 14 year pld boy,V35 Imola, now 43,have it still in the garage, waiting new paint but Custom 1400 is there also for the pleasure.Planing in october to visit Factory in Mandello if the weather will be good. Two years ago I tested Custom and decided to sell Road King and to say goodbye to Harley and I took beautifoul silver Custom with additional, original windshield, hard bags, toiring seat and sissy bar... Best choice ever. Now I regret that I ever bought Harleys that I did 🤣🤣🤣
Good chat mate. I had a Guzzi 750 S. The first model without the linked brakes. Black with red stripe on the tank. Magnificent! Greetings from South Australia. 🦘🦘🍺🍺
A terrific interview. Another interesting and quite engaging gent. In all my years I’ve never ridden a Guzzi. But might have to give one a try. Never too old to try something new. Now, if I can only find a dealer!
Love guzzis, had a v85tt, California 1100, sessantacinque gt, and a nuovo falcone which i still own. All great bike love the falcone and the v85tt. Fancy a v9 bobber next
Shall see how we go with that. Should be able to get another V7 and new T100 to check out and do a comparison. Based on my experience with the older T100, air cooled, I’d take the Guzzi V7
Interesting… out of my bike history I rate the zzr600 as one of the best bikes I owned, after the guzzis of course, and I’d take it over the zzr1100 I owned as well.
I got a spin on a v85tt, within 30 seconds, i decided it was the bike for me. I absolutely love my Guzzi 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Good choice!
Me too. 2020 V85 Travel
Me too, a LeMans 3 back in 1995. Started it, I thought if it makes it off the lot I am buying it. And I did.
I have a 2017 Griso 1200SE, and I love it. It snarls, spits, and snorts impatiently chomping at the bit to be opened up.
I have a mate with a Griso, awesome bike.
I am thinking Bruce would hold a good yarn or two!! Love he is still out and about, certainly looks like he creates a presence around him!!
Lol, you could say that, I reckon we had enough interview footage for 4 videos
The love this man has for Moto Guzzi is touching, I feel proud to be italian ahah
He certainly is passionate about his Guzzi’s

Guzzi’s can be our little secret
I’ve owned 10 different Guzzi’s since 1986. All great bikes
Nice one, personally I’d love a V7
I love a Moto Guzzi, shaft drive all the way haha. What a lovely bloke
Gotta love a Guzzi Rob, shaft drive and oh so cool
Nice. I love the V7. Plenty of bike for a daily ride.
You and me both!

Agree, you definitely feel connected on a Guzzi. Thanks for watching
Re Moto Guzzi , I agree with all he said . I ride a Breva 1100 , my first Guzzi. And probably at 75 my only. Have a BMW K100rs too (1992)
I’m keen to try a K series Beemer, have only ever ridden R series, but Guzzis are something else

I loved riding Matt's Griso. Very fun bike.
It looks it
What a fantastic guy. Great stories to tell!! 👍
Absolutely. Many stories were told that didn’t make the edit.
Another legend riding legendary Guzzis. Great job as always.
Thanks Eric

Good move ditching the Harleys for Guzzis
Fantastic video. My heart aches for his selling those classic six cylinder Kawasaki's. They are all gone now pretty much.
Cheers, thanks for watching, glad you liked it. Agree about the Kwaka's but on the other hand, he rides a Guzzi now, so could be worse.
Great interview. I'm another hopeless Guzzi addict (I have bought 3 brand new and I still have a few decades of riding/buying left).
Nice, what models do you have?
@BikerTorque V7 Classic 750, V7 Special 850 and Griso 1200
@@guffmam6995 love those V7 Specials.
I'd love to sit down with Bruce and talk bikes for hours
He certainly has some stories to tell
Just got myself a 92 Cali love it so far
I reckon I’ll need to ride a Cali one day, they look cool
@@BikerTorque I'm sure we could work something out lol

Definitely give one a go if you get the chance
Love my guzzi v9 . Can't wait for the new stelvio v100
That will be nice
Love guzzis, had a v85tt, California 1100, sessantacinque gt, and a nuovo falcone which i still own. All great bike love the falcone and the v85tt. Fancy a v9 bobber next
I liked the V9 Bobbee when I had it for review, great bike
@@BikerTorque I will have a look for it
Love my V9 bobber
So you should, they are wonderfull bikes, very underrated
Great video, personal I love a Laverda 1000 jota sick machines owned 3 in my time viva Italian 👍👍👍
I love my Laverda also, a twin not triple but would love a Jota one day
Love my Guzzi Stelvio, Guzzi V65 police and Guzzi V50 NATO wiht a Velorex side car
Not sure I’ve heard of a Velorex side car. Sounds like a great collection of Guzzi’s though
Velorex sidecars are made in the Czech Republic and used to be mainly attached to a JAWA
Have bought my V100 Mandello. Can't paste the photo here but it is a beeaauutiful bike
Nice one. John mentioned you had picked up your V100. I’m looking forward to getting one for a few weeks in October.
Nice bloke and nice ride!
Sure is!
A beautiful man
Indeed
Great interview!
Cheers mate
Route pronounced root you got it right first time! 9:35
😂
My Moto Guzzi V9 is very beautiful. I like my motorbike very much
Thanks for sharing
I would love to see a comparison between the V7 850 special and say, a triumph T100, either the 865 variety or the liquid cooled one.
Shall see how we go with that. Should be able to get another V7 and new T100 to check out and do a comparison. Based on my experience with the older T100, air cooled, I’d take the Guzzi V7
Lovely story….
Cheers, thanks for that. Glad you liked it
Owned a Moto Guzzi Quota 1000, a great bike, it has over a 100,000 km on it nowadays
Nice, what year model was that one?
@@BikerTorque 1994
I'll take the horse power over the horse too. hahahahaha. Awesome.
Lol
ЛАЙК!
Thanks
Damn I'd regret selling those big Kwaka's. I regret selling the ZZR600.
Yeah those Kwakas looked the goods
Interesting… out of my bike history I rate the zzr600 as one of the best bikes I owned, after the guzzis of course, and I’d take it over the zzr1100 I owned as well.
@@NakaNakaDerkaDerka Fantastic bike.
What gloves are those?
Not sure what gloves Bruce was wearing
These are gloves that were given to me by a Traffic Cop buddy. The grey areas on the gloves are luminous / reflective at night
as far as i know the v9 and the v7 tanks are interchangeable if you want more fuel at yor disposal
I didn’t know that
@@BikerTorque doc-jensen.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/V9_classic5.jpg here you go! it seems tank and seat must go together though
I think every motorcyclist has a bike they regret selling.
Moto Guzzi’s will do that to you. I have better bikes, but just love my Griso.
Yep, should never have sold my R1200R
Almost persuades me to get a Guzzi. But looking at the forums it seems they are one problem after another 😢
I haven’t owned a Guzzi personally but know plenty of people who do, can’t remember any of them complaining about reliability
