Hey guys how's it going
I love you guys
Just so you know we call them stickers or decals and sometimes vinyls
Race a Honda Del Sol
0 to 60 uphill, drifting, brake burns
Daily driver challenge: use the car every day for 2 weeks, lose a point every time you break down, have to fix something or have to use a different car for practicality (or weather in the case of the moon buggy). Lose the challenge if it gets stolen or wrecked
This one right here guys. 110% solid idea.
Brilliant.
This
I dunno, if it's done up nice enough that someone actually steals it that might be a win
Good idea..... Till you realise that both cars, especially the moon buggy, will kinda stand out during current restrictions.
I honestly don't know how you explain that driving the moon buggy around is essential 😂😂😂
Both are street legal right? How about a road trip challenge? Like 100miles to and fro. Maybe throw in a fuel economy portion? I feel like that be pretty awesome
I've never seen them do a Roadkill-style endurance challenge, and I'd love it if they did.
Good idea but there is -983% chance that buggy is fit for road use.
@@generalgosh i remember moog saying the car is engineered. Not point getting the engineered if its not road legal
Should have a "take your mum on a shopping trip" challenge!
Maybe in 6 months when they're less likely to get fined for unnecessary travel...

They would have insured my R34 GT-T, Shannons on the other hand said only "motoring enthusiasts"
@@duffman5102 Yep, when I rang Shannons ~18 years ago they said my car was "not modified enough"
And they were proud of that sponsorship lol

Since you're top comment here and already have great ideas, I would like to add one more possibly great idea. Automatic car wash challenge. Not sure how scoring would work. I just want to see Moog with the buggy in the car wash lmao
I'd like to see a "going through a carwash" challenge

moon race (dirt track in black and white)
Rear engine snap-oversteer challenge: lay out course through a high speed sweeping corner and water the apex. Fastest car to successfully make it out the other side without ending in a fiery crash wins.
In this episode: Marty's MR2 is still broken, so Moog finds random stuff he can do to his car, to fill time while Marty struggles.
At least fabricobble an old jeep lay down windshield on that buggy.
I want to see an endurance race. Like from Sydney to Adelaide or something ridiculous like that. Minimum of 800 kilometers.

Best top speed backwoods

Challenges Ideas:
- Best drifter
- Best daily driver (including trip to the store!)
- Most fuel efficient
- Best on a track
- Cheapest to maintain
Both of these cars are distinct because they are unusual. The mid engined everyman's car from Toyota. The moon buggy that is a buggy that will never go to the moon. These vehicles aren't about being the fastest, they are about being SPECIAL. The challenges should reflect that, and the challenges should be more about character. About creating/preserving something strange but joyful. Beautiful motorized madness that makes you feel alive and glad that you paid the time and money to get it, glad that you learned new things and became stressed about new challenges. My favorite idea from another comment was the commute challenge: driving these cars every day for a period of time (1-2 weeks) and getting to know the cars while accruing penalty points for everything that ends up still needing fixing. Exploring life with these vehicles and discovering strengths, weaknesses, and the things that you missed during the videos thus far would be a fun journey that could let us get to know these two novel vehicles :) Plus, you could shake them down before thrashing them later :P
One of the challenges has to be driving it through a car wash.
Yes. Came here to say this.
rip the carbs n stuff on the buggy
Please, yes, this! 😂 mr2 leaking through the roof and moog just being showered 😂
Please don't, I don't want to see the buggy be ruined
challenge: who can go through a carwash
Neither will win, the MR2 will disintegrate
I dont think there would be any winners
I still like this idea
they should make it dirty first. the person should have to drive while dirt and manure is flung at the car before entering the carwash.
@@kittehRwin Or drift around a cow paddock... (no helmets allowed!).
One of the best things about your awesome show guys, is exactly that; you two are not experts in cars particularly, (however apparantly at making good shows for the rest of us) and that makes for great shows where the outcome isn't staged, and the time things takes isn't faked, and where we all learn new stuff every time, and I absolutely love that!
I love this show. From the VERY BEGINNING. The best part of it? These people are not fake. No one is on this show. Just to regular bro's. And that is what I love about this show. It feels like an old friend that you never want to let go.
"The escape" start in reverse ,J turn ,burnout lunch. One who leaves the biggest skid/biggest smoke cloud wins.
"Stadium Truck flick" turn in and get the car on 3 wheels one who goes tripod for longer wins.
Den the Man the first one is called a Rockford.
I thought there was no reverse on the moon buggy?

Series like this one, where the MR2 turned out to be a lemon - are my favourite ones! I love it when shit doesn’t go right and you’ve gotta do all this other stuff to get to it, it’s relatable. Extremely relatable. Keep it up geezas, much love and stay safe from the UK❤️
We love watching your videos because you guys are experienced enough to do these projects right, put together high quality and entertaining content and are a super dynamic duo. I'm pretty sure the MR2 can continue to drag on and no one will complain... except for a few... because we are a complaining species..
- Straight line drag.

Bazan Botuwkowicz and amount of smoke🤭
I do not think that jumping either of the cars is a good idea. The bug might survive it without much damge but a lowered MR2? Jumping it is wrecking it, dirt trailing is, yeah, a bad idea altogether.
Challenge: the engine is supposed to be in the front so since it’s in the rear race backwards to fix the issue. A small auto cross challenge with some silly cone course and best time wins, every cone hit adds time to your lap.
Great minds think alike! I also posted to do the backwards race! It would be awesome to see!

why would you do a j-turn at the end if you start facing backwards
Kamil Zmich maybe the MR2 will take the whole run just to build up any sort of ‘speed’? 😂

Mr2 drivers are helpful now. Rewind to mid to late 90s and they were preppy private school kids who were usually short with a popped collar and spiked hair. Usually with big sounds and wheels and were in the rich kids cool club. Needless to say the majority of the everyday car guy didn't hang out with them.
