The heat from the screen might actually be a plus for me, as I get quite cold in my apartment and I have my table set up next to an old single glazed window.

cant believe this is still an issue for newer huion tablets. Mine has heat problems but I associate it with being an old model(had this device for 4 yrs) and I use it almost daily.
@@seraby7151 light comes with heat so it's hard to have a cooled down screen without shoving fans like crazy into it

This tablet presents a big flaw in the cursor offset that has not been resolved up to date. The cursor offset from the tip changes after a few strokes and you need to go out and in the active area to (hopefully) recover the good position of the cursor. This is regardless of the tilt you have in your pen: even if you keep it perfectly vertical at all times, you will have this issue. NO REVIEWER MENTIONS THIS CRITICAL IMPORTANT ISSUE!
Yep, I bought one of these exact ones in 2021 and have this problem, made it incredibly frustrating to use so become a waste of money. I think the pro is probably better
Hope to see Pro Animator San, make Digital animation using this tablet. Or better yet Wacom Studio pro soon 👍❤😊

Is the heat from the screen uncomfortable? My only concern is that maybe my hand will start to burn or sweat and stick to the screen 😓

That's what the gloves for!
That's a bit of an issue with all tablets after long-term use including Wacom. It's especially noticeable with smaller ones as the heated areas usually occupy a larger percentage of the screen. You do get used to it over time though.
Not really. They don't get as hot as Wacom
I have the Kamvas 16 and I can definitely say it is a bit uncomfortable, but manageable. It is the only thing holding back the tablet, everything else is good honestly. Yes all of these Display tablets tend to have a warm spot but not all have it being positioned under your right hand, some warm spots I tried are on top, which is the best since it wont be bothering your drawing hand.

@@oni7045 buy the drawings tablet only if you have a laptop(that can handle the software) or PC.
And also if you expecting to use it often at home because using in public etc is kinda hard. A lot of things need to setup and 15.6 inch is a too big for portability.
I don't go out alot and use it at home so its all good good me. Ipad is great since you can do a lot of thing with it aside from drawing.
If you're using for professional, drawing tablet is definitely better but if just learning to draw or hobby or imagine doing doing something professional along the line later on. Ipad is still a good choice.
I choose this tablet over Ipad because I was aiming to do something professional with digital drawing.
So yeah, go for Ipad. Its a good choice. You didn't really lose a lot of stuff(well yes but actually no).
Its more expensive but that gives you more portability instead. Be able to draw anywhere you want is very nice

Just curious, what anime studio Hinoe works for?
He's mentioned that he's worked on GaoGaiGar, which was done by "Studio 7" (a Sunrise studio). Doesn't mean he was from that studio of course, he could have been in a different one and just did some cuts, but it sounded like he was a regular on that production. His strength seems to be mecha, judging from the videos I've seen.
He's also worked on Time Travel Girl (or it was implied at least, since DokiDoki Drawing was able to use those characters and he seemed familiar with their personalities), which was done by WAO Studio.
Also possible that he's changed Studios throughout the years.
I would like to know too though!

Listen, you're better off not worrying about a screen tablet, others can do just as much it just takes longer, don't worry about it, practice on that, unless you're very serious and you think it'll help you a lot then I'd say certainly go for a huion kamvas, they're cheaper and great. Or xp pen has a lot of them too, just that those are slightly lower quality imo. All in all it's completely up to you
Wireless? Then go with an iPad or Samsung tablet, because all these display monitors still need to be hooked up to a pc or laptop to work.

as a newbie here, i hve a question, what if my laptop res is 1366x678 and the pen tablet res is 1080x1920, will it crash the pen tablet display or no? or it makes laggy, etc ? Thankyou ! (sorry for my bad grammar) i'm so confused
I don't know if the answer is going to be relevant to you now (as it was 9 months ago) but having recently started using "pen display" for the first time I had the same use case (my laptop is also 1366x768 so I found it really difficult to use with art software)
It didn't crash the laptop, because it just treats the tablet as a second monitor it can be any resolution - just make sure to extend display rather than duplicate (I think it'll try to use 1366x768 on the tablet otherwise)
I do experience some lag, but this is probably because the laptop isn't very powerful (5 years old and with onboard graphics - works better on my desktop).

Hello,
After seeing this video I immediately wanted to order this tablet and in the end it was given to me as a birthday present (love you mommy) three days ago but I have a big problem with my two pens (brand new). They only work if they’re plugged into my computer. I loaded them all one night respectively but nothing happens once they are unplugged, they won't do anything, not even move the cursor, nothing...
I then uninstalled the huion driver with Revo, restarted my computer, reinstalled the driver and reconnected my tablet but it still doesn’t work so I unplugged my tablet, re-installed the driver, etc.
Honestly I don’t know what to do, I think the batteries of both stylets have a problem but I'm a little bit afraid to order a new one, you never know...
If anyone has a solution to my problem please share it :c

Did you make the configuration and callibration properly?
Also, is you have drivers from other models or drivers from other brands you must uninstall before the installation of the Huion one.
Contact the company. They may ask for you to send it back and they may even send you a new one. My guess is thre knew uou got w had a defect

Depends, probably 2 weeks or 1 week 4 hours a day

i wanted to buy 16 ver. , but store in my country sold it with the price so close with wacom 16 ver. and broke af lol.
so bought kamvas 13 2019 ver. upgraded from h430 in this month and really help a lot saving time.

Hinoe-san, if you are animating on an A4 paper, does that mean you'll use an 11 field sized frame?
@@seeyouneverp9158 Western animation usually has a 12 field size to draw on (12 inches wide). But A4 is less than 12 inches wide, so Hinoe can't use the 12F format. So, what format does he use?

No, you connect it to a computer and use the tablet as a screen, so you have to have the software on your computer

One things that reviews dont mention is longevity. From everybody I've talked to, the Huion and XP Pen crap out quickly compared to Wacom.
If those Japanese fetish type of westerners think using Wacom is a solution to escape from Chinese brands, they got another thing coming.

the technologies used in those displays are not that expensive..... they can always sell it cheaper and make profit. But they don't . Not wacom Not huion... xp pen ?? never mind...
Not going to lie it feels so weird to see him speaking in his native tongue like I'm so used to him speaking English perfectly nursing people from other countries called speak English properly I'm just saying it sounds he didn't have accent but then he speaks his native tongue is like he has accident I've noticed that whenever anyone speaks another language you have to have the accident for it to sound good I've noticed that and its weight but I guess that's how it has to be to get the right pronunciation but when I hit him it just kind of sound like it's forced which is bad because that's how most of them do sound same like from where I'm from they have the same black type of triangle accent which is coming so it's nothing new but it's just astonishing to here because even if I speak in a certain language Japanese or anything I always have to have no really I don't really have the action but sometimes I forget myself and it comes out witches Notepad why sometimes it feels like it's forced maybe it's me I don't know
I think he grew up speaking in English though. His japanese is very influenced by his english accent.

You need to be making money from your artwork, or this is totes not worth the price. And note that this review model didn't have a screen protector film applied to it and no stand. I think the standard 16 comes with the ST200 stand, but I think if click for the optional stand they send you the ST300. No idea what the diff is because I don't own any Huion products.
