OMG. I gotta say this. I also had a Wacom Intuos3 wide (but in grey), and recently I decided to upgrade to a screen tablet, and I got the Kamvas 20! What a coincidence! However I’ll keep the good old Intuos3 because like you said, it’s a hardcore, super tough tablet. Also it has a lot of sentimental value. I love your videos and how you explain the whole process, thanks for sharing your amazing skills!
If I fix the cable on my Intuos 3 I'm sure it will be good for another 10 years!
Been using my Huion GT-190 for a couple years now and I’m still satisfied with it but I was looking to do an upgrade. After watching this vid, looks like my next purchase will be the Kamvas 20 😃😃
Same here I have the GT 190 and want to upgrade, Huion have started to get expensive so this is now a older model and is cheaper

This review made me make the decision to buy this tablet back in the day when my old Wacom died and I needed a new one ASAP. To this day I regret nothing, this thing is amazing, and if you have in an arm you can easily use it as a side monitor.

Finding a review that isn't just line art or base color from drawing manga or cartoons is so rare.
I'd say starting with a graphic tablet is cheaper than a traditional medium. I've definitely spent way more just on alcohol markers than I spent on this tablet. The best thing about Digital art is all the "ink/paint" is technically free!

I can't decide between this version and the Pro version. I like the buttonless design and I probably will not use them anyway, but the Screen of the Pro version has a Full Lamination. Is this feature worth the higher price?

Maybe you can rescue the cable of your Intuos with a heat shrinking tube on it if the inside is fine and not broken. Just a suggestion.

I bought this tablet and I have a Mac, and I don't know how to make both screens to do the same thing. It's like Huion is completely independent from my Mac. I searched in the menu of the Huion, and there are 3 options in the 'working area' folder: work with screen 1, screen 2, or 3 (both creens). None of them fix my problem. Do you think my Huion is wrong? Can you give me some advice? Which working area did you chose?

Your work is really amazing. I'm a graphic designer that has never think about sketching cars, but I have reciently found your UA-cam channel and felt in LOVE ♥️ with this kind of art. What you can do with Photoshop brushes and tools is so beautiful that I want to get into this world. Any advice for someone that is more use to do photo retouch and flat design in illustrator? I love your vids, i watch them all.. but i thibk one is missing, im a industrial designer and i just started to digital paint.
I think you should make a video showing how to digital paiting and rendering..
Showing us the diferent kind of brushes, how to work with layers(shadows, highlight and colors) and tips witch tools to use etc. I know photoshop and know how to draw.. but its kinda hard to blend those 2... im watching a bunch of vids, but i feel like theres a bunch of tips and shortcuts there is not clear..

i know this video is 4 years old but maybe you can still help me in 2024 :) i decided to follow my dream to draw and bought the kamvas 20. when i try to draw in photoshop, soon as i get close to the screen it starts drawing and i have no control over when it starts drawing. would really appreciate any advice to help me start easier
I’ve had issues with the HDMI cable breaking early on because of the placement of the port. The HDMI bends in a really painful way

Oh what difference with kamvas pro 20? Only shortcut button? Right?!
I own the kamvas pro 20 (2019 version), and I think, the main difference is, that the pro 20‘s screen is laminated.
It also has the four buttons for POWER and screen settings on the very top edge of the frame, so you don’t accidentally hit them with your arm or hand while working. If you noticed, the one in the video has those buttons on the front, towards the right corner of the screen.
I‘m very pleased with mine, I use it for different purposes (digitizing embroidery designs), and I think it’s great, considering it’s price.

For this mirroring of the screens. (Getting the same display on both monitor and tablet) does this work only with mac or can you do it with pc and windows. From what I've seen I've only seen mac users be able to do this and I would love to know if this is possible for windows 10
Since the tablet acts as a second monitor you should be able to do it in windows just like with any other monitor.
Is it possible to use Autodesk Sketchbook Pro on it ?

Redesign the Volkswagen thing in 2019 (maybe as a fun and cheap vehicle competing with, say, the Jeep wrangler’s base models and upcoming ford bronco?) ((also go watch the commercials and look at some brochures for the thing- it’ll give you a ton of ideas for the vibe of the thing, which is weird, to be sure!))

Hey guys i need help for real. I dont know should i buy a decent "screenless" tablet for 100$ or less and learn to draw and sketch. Btw im not artist in any possible way, im not going to art school and whats intersting is that i started mechanical engineering college i mean it starting in october this year and i chose that college because its the closest thing to industrial design in my country and tbh im interested in that. So i am asking is it worth buyin the tablet and learning to draw or sketch even if am going to be mechanical engineer? I mean is it possible to be in both field?

I replaced my old Intuos3 4x6 with a Huion . I think it's the Inspiroy H640P. I had a 9x12 Intuos3 as well, but sent it to a friend when their (even older) tablet bit it. (Neither my PC or Mac liked that 9x12, for some reason? But my tablet PC and my partner's PC was fine with it. Same with my ex's iMac).
I upgraded to get the extra sensitivity levels, and to because it had a fairly annoying gouge from one of my moves.
The only thing I really miss about the Intuos is the eraser on the pen, but I can make a hot key.
(I'm still using the Intuos for a portable arting. Those old ones were beasts!)

Valentina Pinorini huion only has one model that can be used without computers and it’s very expensive.
You’re better off looking at like an iPad
