Beautiful setup for a beautiful frog 🌿🐸! Loved your emphasis on substrate quality/ ingredients + adding beneficial bacteria. It’s something most people overlook! Soil undergoes a nitrogen cycle just like aquariums do!
Merci mon amour! ❤️
Dion(?) is the bomb. He's the reptile whisperer ;)
Ok that is to small for a RETF, i have them myself and I would not have them in lower then 36 inch so exo terra 24” x 18” x 36 would be great. And so mutch more big leaf plants, thats not enough.
Thank you so much for your feedback! I appreciate it 😊🙏🏼
Oh man I got some stuff from this build loved your mixes and having the bin always going with you springtails and dwarfs , I’m so doing that your a genius Kayla ❤👍
Could this enclosure be suitable for a whites tree frog? I know that certain plant types require certain substrate + temp + humidity levels, but I really love your design! Is it possible to use a similar lay out on a 24 x 18 x 18 enclosure?
Great video 👍
Thank you!
Where did you buy the frog from? Ive always wanted one!
I bought the frog from another local hobbyist who had listed it on a classifieds site! 😊🐸
Dang, how much did that plumber cost on that bathroom sink 🤣
Great video! 🌞
Hahaha! Yeah, that was definitely rough on the sink.. probably not the best idea! 😂 Thank you so much for watching! 😊🙏🏼
How many frogs can you safely house in this setup. Do tree frogs sleep all day or are they activate? By the way do you ever think of breeding your frogs, tadpoles are fascinating .
Omg I am Luis Rocha >_
Lots if why you are using something, reasoning, andvhow too on each item. PS can I strongly suggest you do NOT rinse dirt in your sink. NOT good for your plumbing
Nice video…. Just so you know, most frogs absolutely hate when substrate sticks to them… red eye tree frogs are one of the pickiest when it comes to conditions and cleanliness… you’re going to want to find a way to keep the frog From getting all that substrate stuck to it.
Thank you so much for the advice Troy! I appreciate that so much! I’m glad you mentioned it. I’ll put a heavy layer of leaf litter over the soil to prevent that from happening! 😊🐸
@@kaylaroach yea that’s would be for the best… also some sort of water dish would help greatly as well… water dish’s should be cleaned daily and replenished with fresh water every night for red eyes.
Awesome Setup for the Red Eye Tree Frog 👍
Thank you so much! 😊
I say I'll do one, but I need a min budget video
looks cool but the music is too loud
Thank you so much for the feedback! 🙏🏼 I will consider that for my future videos! I’m somewhat new to editing, so this is a learning curve for me!
What is wrong with the fertilizers that are in the plants i put a plant in my tank without taking the old dirty out shouldn't i be worred about that its been in for about a week and it doesn't seem to have done anything bad but i definitely remember seeing the fertilizer balls
another amazing video! love how the enclosure turned out and it looks like the froggo is also a big fan! keep up the great work im already excited for the next one!
That means the world to me, thank you so much! I appreciate your viewership and your sweet words. Looking forward to sharing more videos! 😊
setup great but bathroom sink drain might need roto rooter soon🙂
Very nice! Just got a few myself, some really good tips here for my next build!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you found it helpful. They are such a beautiful species of frog, enjoy your little friends! 🐸✨
Such great content Kayla! Background music choices, narration, quality video and very helpful tips. Hope to see more videos soon!
Thank you so much for kind words and feedback! I appreciate it so much. Glad you enjoyed ☺️
Another amazing video just touch my heart ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ super video with knowledge and experience best off luck for your upcoming video ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🌹
Thank you so much! 😊
Where do yall buy these frogs because i watched another video to do research on how to take care of a tree frog before i buy one but uhhhh can't buy one if i can't find out how to buy them
Gorgeous! The frog and enclosure, too.
Haha! Thank you so much! 😊
Nobodys gonna talk about how here sink is going to be clogged after this
Very cool Tree Frog and looks like a comfortable, well built ecosystem home for the frog too, great job. I have aquatic frogs, but they're not nearly as much of a challenge as maintaining this cool set up.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that 😊🙏🏼 Aquatic frogs are so neat! 🐸
I absolutely loved this video! Everything from the build to the frog itself is gorgeous. 😊
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed ☺️🙏🏼
You just made me decide to get a tree frog 😄Very beautiful setup. Can’t wait to watch more of your T videos. Especially Arboreals as I’ve just gotten a couple of these.
Turned out great! Red eyed tree frogs are such cool frogs!
Thank you so much! 😊 And I agree! They are such an amazing species 🐸
Do you ever need to clean these tanks? or are they good the way they are?
Wow, that soil is literally crawling with invertebrates! It looks like too many. Is it? Like, will the substrate be able to sustain that amount?
You added more!!😂
I think the terrarium is much too small for red eye treefrog.
Thank you for your feedback! What size of terrarium would you recommend?
HI
Hello! 😊
sorry but this is a realy small enclosure for an adult red eyed tree frog
Ok question do black eyed tree frogs need the same environment as a red eyed one because I am getting one and it costs quite a bit and I need to know what ti get
I’m not familiar with the husbandry requirements for Black Eyed Tree Frogs. I’m sure there are some similarities to Red Eyed Tree Frogs, but I would suggest doing extensive research in order to be best prepared for the exact species you plan on getting! 😊🐸
Plumber here. Your drains are not appreciating dirt going down the sink like that. Asking for a huge clog haha
Awesome set up though!
Yes, I was told not to do that anymore! Haha! I rinse my plants in a bucket now and dump the dirty water outside! Thank you for the heads up 😁
Cool video 👍 Thanks!!!
I love how informative you are on each step! And one beautiful build. Side note not many people will “seed” a bioactive or tell people to do so kudos 🙌
I appreciate your kind words, thank you ☺️🙏🏼
What a awesome set up. you done it so perfectly btw looks so realistic
Thank you so much for your kind words! I appreciate you! 😊
Your welcome
Soil down the sink 😭
Love your content not mention you have a beautiful voice wishing you all the best if I ever get married hopefully my wife loves animals has much as you!
That is so sweet of you to say! Thank you 😊
@@kaylaroach very welcome you single lmaO 🤣
Tro bien te vidéos
Merci beaucoup! 😊
this one looks so cool and the frog looked so happy! Must feel nice mentally to have all these little containers of nature in your home, its like a breath of fresh air i would imagine
Thank you so much Noah! It’s so refreshing and therapeutic to have a piece of nature in my home. The animals and the plants really make it feel like I’m in the middle of a jungle! 🌱✨
You made want to get a red eye tree frog colorful looks beautiful what type of food do you normally feed it?
I’ve loved red eye tree frogs since I was a kid, but have no idea where to start with having one as a pet, how did you learn about creating such a healthy environment for them?
They are a beautiful species! I learned by doing research online, talking to other keepers, and through my experience with other reptiles and amphibians. 😊🐸
This is the best Bioactive video I have seen on all of youtube! I have been researching this for a few days now, video after video and you did extraordinary. Great set up, that frog will be living it's best life in there! Thanks for sharing.
That is so kind of you! Thank you so much ❤️🙏🏼
Where did you get your organic top soil? Being in Ontario my self I'm having a hard time finding it
I get my soil from garden centres and nurseries! I usually get mine from Terra. 😊🌱
Awesome setup!
Thank you 😊
Great video Kayla! Easy to follow :). Question, can you tell me something about the sound volume they produce? Are they really loud at night? Do you still sleep well :p? Might need to inform my neighbours before setting up. Thanks a lot!
great video just a tip don't wash plants in the sink your plumber will thank you for giving him a nice check for that soil
This is such a beautiful set up! I am wondering though, did you only use sphagnum moss to plant the suspended pothos and bromeliad since they aren’t in soil?
Nice setup!
Thank you so much! 😊
Really cool looking Red eye and really like the set up. I got my first 1st, 2 weeks ago and is still so small but looking to start a build on a bigger home for it soon. I found this video interesting as you used the tank I was considering. What moss do you use? I have no luck with moss in my Dart frog tanks and your moss looks amazing really jealous lol :) New to your channel but will subscribe and the way you did the video I think was really good :)
Wow, beautiful, I love how it came out, very creative...
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼 I appreciate it 😊
Aw that frog looks so cute I think you need to breed them because animals don't like to be alone
Did you probably that moss yourself? If yes do you think you can make a short video or could you answer me here on how you do it
What topsoil do you use?
I’ve used many different brands of topsoil from garden centres, hardware stores, etc. I don’t stick with one brand in particular! They have all worked great, the most important part is to sift through the soil and remove any pieces of plastic or unwanted debris.
I loved your video and setup! How do you get the pothos to grow in a cork log with no soil? I'm new to plants and would love to know!
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words. Also, what a great question! I actually packed the cork tube with soil and lots of sphagnum moss! Pothos is an extremely hardy plant, which worked in my favour for this setup! 😊🌱
@@kaylaroach Ooh, thank you for telling me! I will definitely try this! ^_^
amazing!!
Thank you! 😊
Nicely done.
Thank you so much! 😊
The frogs are cute to
They are such a cute species of frog 🐸. I love their big red eyes! 👀
Tree froggy
Such a cute species of frog 🐸
@@kaylaroach they really are 😁

Is a 12x12x18 enclosure too small for a pair of tree frogs I know they are slightly on the bigger side and dart frogs might be better
I think a 12x12x18 is a good size for a pair! An 18x18x24 would be great too if you want to have more room for plants, branches, etc. 😊
