I love that you did this entire build without the use of expanding foam. That cork background looks absolutely stunning, this is the technique I've been looking for!
This vivarium is beautiful. I love the spiderwood. However after the frog, the log is the star of the show. I’ve never seen a piece of driftwood that looks like Godzilla before. So cool!
Loving the content! Just an idea that I haven't seen anyone try, what about a terrarium centered around chillies and other spicy plants. I don't know if it would work but it might be worth a try!
I own Whites Tree Frogs (Kent, UK) and never heard you could get cork panels! Would have REALLY helped with my build rather than spray foam. Whites need a less humid environment so had great fun finding plants that survive in that climate (English ivy, golden pothos, arrowhead etc). Amazing vid as always
absolutely beautiful build, you perfectly showcased an inexpensive build for hobbyists who work on tight budgets but have a lot of terrariums to build, top notch
I think it looks awesome, and I especially appreciate the links to UK sites for products used. The one thing I'd add is branches, both horizontal and vertical as it currently looks more suitable for Dart frogs than Tree frogs. It'll also provide extra places for moss and other plants to be added :)
Always enjoy watching your new videos every weekend. Another gorgeous design that i would love to recreate one day for poison dart frogs as those are one of my favorite animals
Continue.
I loved watching this build! I'm halfway through a large viv build and it's my first, so watching how to plant the viv was really helpful. It was nice to see a build by someone else from the UK too!
Great setup! I really enjoy your channel. I especially love how you always wait to post your videos until the tanks have matured for a couple of months. I'd love to see more on Grogu and on your other frogs, if you can oblige!
Been absolutely loving your videos lately. Inspired me to try and make my own little terrarium, but it’s so amazing to see how big your setups can get! So cool, thank you for sharing your knowledge and art!
It looks amazing! What I miss in many terrariums like this is ferns and horsetails. I find them being the archetype plants in jungle and woodlands together with moss. And they add to that prehistoric vibe that a junglesetting gives me. Maybe they are difficult to grow in terrariums I don't know, I'm just an observer, viewer... Looking forward to the next video!
I've never tried horsetails in a terrarium, but I have a fern in my isopod terrarium and it's pretty easy. Not the easiest plant I've EVER dealt with, but not hard either.
I wish I saw your channel before setting up my whites tree frog enclosure. The cork method of making backgrounds as opposed to expanding foam would have made their enclosure so much better. Going to have to do a redesign soon!
As for plant suggestions, maybe something like a warm growing lepanthes would look great? There's tons of cool miniature orchids that would look great in this tank.
The hardscape is already impressive, but the plant selection? Wow, it really looks like a scene in a Costa Rica cloudforest, with species that could be seen actually growing together in nature! Personally, I'd add some epiphytic Mesoamerican miniature ferns and orchids to complete the look. 🙌
I’m so glad I found your channel… And I’ve been doing this stuff since… 2007 or ‘08? Since I was 19? Lol. 🤔 If only there were channels like yours back then, my earlier setups wouldn’t have been so… “simple”. 😛 But in time, we learn. And your videos are full of such useful information. Stuff that literally seems obvious when I realize what it actually is... like, “why didn’t I ever notice that?” Even basic things, like saving the cork background shavings? Genius! And the siphon method for draining water out? Also genius.. saves me drilling a hole, finding the right tubing, sealing it, worrying that it’s going to eventually leak, etc. So… seriously, thank you! 😂
I noticed that pepperomia addition almost immediately when you cut to the "4 months later". That in conjunction with the bromeliads, makes me think maybe a tiny bit more purple/red accents throughout the setup may be a nice touch. Maybe some tradescantia pallida in some of the low light background areas might be nice? Just throwing some thoughts out there. Thanks for the build!
Have you done a tutorial on how to propagate plants by chance? Or how to start making your own hardscapes etc? I used to have Flower Beetles and I’d love to get more and have a full ecosystem for them!
i really like the compressed cork. i made some thing similar with a 15gal tall. brushing to texture and add valleys. very nice. then i added a drip wall system. cork does a good job at holding water. i'd really like to grow something the cork, but that may not be possible.
As a beginning enthusiast with both terrariums and vivariums, this is one of my favorite build videos so far! (And I've watched HOURS of them.) I love that the way you put together the background was so simple and accessible. It's nice to feel like I could do something like this too! The plant selections were absolutely superb, including the later additions. Peperomias are some of my favorites. And using the spiderwood to make those roots down the walls and the back was an amazing touch!
My only quip with pretty much all tree frog enclosures I come across is that you can see the misting system. If it were mine, I would blend the nozzles into the background, at least a little bit. No notes otherwise!

Thanks 😊
A lot of time went into this one, hope you enjoy it!💚
Finaly you did it.This vivarium making video is my dream
Yaa ❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it😃
Bro plz do a video about how to make a misting system
Love the vids any chance you could do a small turtle habitat??
Would love to see Grogu have a family. 🙂Cool build/video!
Me too! Thank you😃
Me to
Let Grogu breed!!!
Lol!
😂
I love that you did this entire build without the use of expanding foam. That cork background looks absolutely stunning, this is the technique I've been looking for!
yes, me too. I'm not a huge fan of using lots of expanding foam.
No it's still good 👍
same here. :D
using beautiful terrariums to weigh down the cork panels is such a flex. great work as always
That philodendron really does steal the show, doesn't it!
Really nice build
Yes breeding frogs and making a water area would be so cool to watch them grow.
This vivarium is beautiful. I love the spiderwood. However after the frog, the log is the star of the show. I’ve never seen a piece of driftwood that looks like Godzilla before. So cool!
I thought the same thing! Lol
It’s a really cool piece! & now you’ve said it, it really does look like Godzilla😅
I find it really funny that your "heavy objects" for securing the background with silicone were two beautiful terrariums lol
Carving down the cork tile to make it more uniform is genius!
This is the Terrarium we have all been waiting for🎉
Loving the content! Just an idea that I haven't seen anyone try, what about a terrarium centered around chillies and other spicy plants. I don't know if it would work but it might be worth a try!
Definitely give him a friend. Then, you'll have to make room for all the babies, so we get another video! 😊✌️
The late additions really pull it together. I also really like how excited you sound about the plants you've included
i have always wanted to make a frog terrarium, and this really boosted my confidence into start making one. Thanks boss!😎
Glad I could help!😃
Good luck!
Will you please do a Hawaiian Paradise Island themed terrarium?
I own Whites Tree Frogs (Kent, UK) and never heard you could get cork panels! Would have REALLY helped with my build rather than spray foam. Whites need a less humid environment so had great fun finding plants that survive in that climate (English ivy, golden pothos, arrowhead etc). Amazing vid as always
the shot near the end in the dark room with only the Terrarium lit up so naturally is stunning and gives me the feels
absolutely beautiful build, you perfectly showcased an inexpensive build for hobbyists who work on tight budgets but have a lot of terrariums to build, top notch
I think it looks awesome, and I especially appreciate the links to UK sites for products used. The one thing I'd add is branches, both horizontal and vertical as it currently looks more suitable for Dart frogs than Tree frogs. It'll also provide extra places for moss and other plants to be added :)

Thank you for watching:) poison dart frogs are amazing for sure!
What a gorgeous habitat!! Your little tree frog must be thrilled (or at least will be once he's used to it).
I love it! I would love to see a terrarium, with Orchids included.
Continue.

That cork backdrop would be great as a full wall as the 3d layering & sculpting looks great. Fantastic job!
Great setup! I really enjoy your channel. I especially love how you always wait to post your videos until the tanks have matured for a couple of months. I'd love to see more on Grogu and on your other frogs, if you can oblige!
Glad you enjoyed the video! I always think it adds to the video with an update on how it’s growing:) appreciate your support!
Fascinating. I'd love to see more of the little fellow make his way through the environment.
Dreaming of an eco system like this. So satisfying.
Been absolutely loving your videos lately. Inspired me to try and make my own little terrarium, but it’s so amazing to see how big your setups can get! So cool, thank you for sharing your knowledge and art!

The tree roots look awesome on the background! And I’d also enjoy seeing grogu having a friend!
Looks amazing he’s gonna love it in there
Awesome stuff!! I really love your videos and all the time and effort you put into them. Keep up the good work!
I wish I saw your channel before setting up my whites tree frog enclosure. The cork method of making backgrounds as opposed to expanding foam would have made their enclosure so much better. Going to have to do a redesign soon!
This one is BREATHTAKING. Excellent work! And I appreciate you SO MUCH for including the plant list. I always want to know the plants haha
As for plant suggestions, maybe something like a warm growing lepanthes would look great? There's tons of cool miniature orchids that would look great in this tank.
Love the roots, their form and colour make them pop between all the nice greenery.
YES ILL BE INTERESTED IN BABY FROGS SO CUTE!!!🐸
Absolutely breathtaking!❤
I’ve never worked with cork panels but they looked great after you got the drill on them.
Grogu is lucky to have you it's awesome thank u so much for giving this much time and patience for making this wonderful video we live 😊❤
I'm subbed 💖
I just discovered your channel and it serves as a beautiful guide for me, you made my day better friend, thank you.
Love to hear this, glad you enjoyed the video:)
I really want to see grogu have a family it would make a great video
definitively love this one, just thinking it would be better if there's some vines horizontally from upper part of the scape
Cool idea!😃
Really really cool! The build is awesome and the progression is amazing.
That's gorgeous!!! You did great !!!!!❤
I think some anthuriums would make an excellent addition as well!
wooooow!!! awesome terrarium and super cute frog! I really like the christmas moss.
amazing work 👏. I think high humidity loving orchids would do great in your terrarium with a small pop of colour with their blooms.
Cork panels like these are basically compressed cork bark, so you could 100% recycle those shavings as an aerating and composting substrate component
Didn’t think of that, great suggestion:)
Awesome Input for q beginner as iam in this Hobby .
Thanks for your time ans effort to build this new Home for your frog 🫶🐸
Looks Gorgeous. If i wasn't a guitar player id definitely be a Terrarium builder in another life.
Absolutely love this ecosystem. Very nice job.
i would love to see a pennywort terrarium with other plants that grow with it as that’s what lives around me.
I really like your ecosystems
Suggestion - Try making a large paludarium build with frogs and maybe crabs
Thanks! May have something like that in the works👀😃
The hardscape is already impressive, but the plant selection? Wow, it really looks like a scene in a Costa Rica cloudforest, with species that could be seen actually growing together in nature! Personally, I'd add some epiphytic Mesoamerican miniature ferns and orchids to complete the look. 🙌
Stunning build!! ❤😊❤
Thank you!
@@TerrariumDesigns you are welcome 🤗
Beautiful. Peperomia prostrata is my favorite and definitely recommended

Glad you found the video useful & thanks for the support😃
That large centerpiece wood reminds me of an Old English Lion with its mawl wide open.
Absolutely Fabulous 😃
Thank You for sharing 👍
you should add some mini epithytic orchids!!
Love that idea!
I absolutely love how this turned out I’m gonna be doing a terrarium for 2 red eyed tree frogs shortly
I noticed that pepperomia addition almost immediately when you cut to the "4 months later". I speak Spanish but I still love your videos, the terrariums you make are really beautiful 💚
Glad you enjoyed the video😃
You type in English really well, there were zero mistakes in this comment.
@@jeremyfrost2636there was one but even most English speakers don't do it, before the but you put a comma
Dude you inspire me and you are the best❤
Facts!
I’m a newbie but I would definitively add some colourful fittonia
En verdad este amigo es un artista de éste fantástico mundo natural. Muchas gracias por enseñar a elaborar y aconsejar de materiales fáciles de comprar y uno mismo construir "gracias amigo"
i loooove the vine look from the spider wood !
Looks great! Maybe you could add some epiphytic orchids or ferns ( masdevillia, pleurothallis, ect...)
I liked d idea of keeping d heavy objects, after glueing procedures..... Terrariums 😊
Terrarium yang sangat indah, terlihat alami ..
Thanks!
Your art is AWESOME!
Thank you!
Have you done a tutorial on how to propagate plants by chance? Or how to start making your own hardscapes etc? I used to have Flower Beetles and I’d love to get more and have a full ecosystem for them!

My family loves your videos and we want to see how your frog is doing!
i really like the compressed cork. i made some thing similar with a 15gal tall. brushing to texture and add valleys. very nice. then i added a drip wall system. cork does a good job at holding water. i'd really like to grow something the cork, but that may not be possible.
I love it ❤ Stunning...one thing I'd like to see though is some fungi
very cool and well designed really the only thing I would do differentley is add more types of moss.
As a beginning enthusiast with both terrariums and vivariums, this is one of my favorite build videos so far! (And I've watched HOURS of them.) Love your Videos wery nice Build the promelia are wery beautiful
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it😃
Looks very good I love it.
Never watched this guy but youtube thought I needed hin and it was right😊😊😊
Really good instructional video. One day, I'll attempt something like this.
This truely is an amazing setup brother ❤
My only quip with pretty much all tree frog enclosures I come across is that you can see the misting system. If it were mine, I would blend the nozzles into the background, at least a little bit.
No notes otherwise!
Very good point, the nozzles certainly stick out more then I’d like
Love these terrarium builds. How do you prepare the lotus seed pots for use so they don’t get moldy?
I didn’t do anything to prepare it, it did form a small amount of mold after a couple weeks but it’s cleared up on its own in no time:)
Would be really cool if you had a 1 or 2h video of your vivariums with your animals just doing their thing and with calming music.
Beautiful setup
I liked d twigs arrangements too
Can you explain your watering and care routine. Or do you have another video explaining it?
I think the reason the log looks prehistoric is because it’s shaped like a T-Rex! And that Philodendron is stunning!
Haha it really does!😅
I thought the same thing omg!!😂
New viewer 🙋🏽♀️ love how the mopani wood looks like a dinosaur to me 🦖 😂🫶🏽
Magnificent
I love what you have created. Very inspiring! What type of heat source did you use to maintain humidity levels?
3:41 Always wear safety glasses when using a power drill in an application like this!!!
Plz do a video about how to make a misting system
