INCREDIBLE Tree Frog Paludarium Set Up!

- Come and watch me setup a BEAUTIFUL paludarium from start to finish! This video shows every step of the process, from foaming and carving, creating a small pond, adding plants and decor and everything in between! Paludariums are a setup that include both a land feature and a water feature. This paludarium will be used for a species of tree frog.

She likes to sit in her water bowl no matter how moist the rest of the tank is, so I want to give her some more water to chill in.

Nice!! I am very creative and artistic to start with so anytime I've been able to design an enclosure like this I not only really enjoy it but I also remember things I've seen others do and if possible incorporate it into my own design or at least partially, sometimes I have been inspired by something I seen someone do and then put my own twist on things to the same technique and it turns out to be unique, highlighting my own individuality! I also try and put myself into the body of the animal I'm creating the Habitat/Enclosure for, and try and figure out what that creature would tell me it wanted if it could talk!

They can be tough to find, I find the best bet is to go to a smaller local pet store that carries exo terra and see if they can order it in!

Great video and paludarium! I was wondering though (since I really want to do this as well): If I ever decide to change the setup in my terrarium, could the foam be removed without leaving any residue on the glass?
Now, how do you go about cleaning the background, or do you clean it? Personally, I’ve stayed away from making backgrounds because I worry about how I would clean it. I doubt you can take it out, clean it, then put it back.
Emma, after creating such a natural and beautiful looking background, I was sooo sad to see it get devoured by all the large plants you added! 😢 I did read tht u used wht u hd on hand, so I'm hoping u will have a WALL REVEAL❣😎❣ ...w/pots carved into foam for hanging plants & more!!! 🤞🐸🤞

Is the foam, dry lock and paint all safe for the frogs to be on? How do you seal it?
Yes the foam and everything she used is animal safe. The dry lock is a sealant.
I saw on someone else's channel that the weight of the drylok can weigh down the foam and cause it to shrink and peel from the glass, have you ever had this problem?? I love your background and would love to create something similar, just want to cover all my bases first
Is the dry lock required or is it just a preference thing??
Just built a tank for my new vampire crabs, struggling to keep the heat where I want it tho 😖 trying combos of heat mats, water heater, and blue heat bulbs, I'll be happy when it's perfect

Some waterflow I'd enough along as there's plants and some sorta dirt or rocks. A filter would be very beneficial, but waterflow and plast should be good.

How do you prevent infection for red eyed tree frog with pond keep hearing how important it is to change their water?

I know it’s been a year butttt personally for one I would get a 12x12x18 and for 2-3 a 18x18x24! 😊

For what animal? For a frog, I would go for soil

Mold shouldn’t be an issue in bioactive enclosures as springtails feed on mold :)
