    Have you thought about using a piece of half cut pvc tubing coated with coco fiber and moss to hide the cord? Looks awesome, also where did you find that background

      I have thought about it but to be honest it’s so grown in now that I can’t see it. I got the universal backgrounds through my workplace, Hi-Tek Aquariums.

    looks amazing. How did you seperate the land area from the water without the land area getting to bogged?

    • @BeachesScalyBeasts
      @BeachesScalyBeasts  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks! At around 11:30 you can see me pack out most of the land side using course aquarium sponge that some of the plants had already grown through. I used a piece of drainage fabric to seperate the mulch from the sponge.

    what do you do for heating and lighting for these frogs??

    • @BeachesScalyBeasts
      @BeachesScalyBeasts  5 місяців тому

      They had a t5 7% uvb tube and a 6500k led light bar above them. I provided no heating other than the ambient temp rises from all the reptile tanks in the room. This garage used to get pretty hot.

      @@maxbenson1416 that’s right I haven’t been using uvb however I dust their food heavily with a good quality calcium and vitamin d3 supplement. However I’m most likely going to be replacing the globes with uvbs as I’m now running leds as well for the plants.
