@@AutomedicGarage I’m already a Patreon member! I bought a 2006 f250, my first diesel, about a month ago. I knew it had issues when I bought it. Crank no start cold could get it to start on occasion. But thanks to your video and $35 OBD2 dongle I was able to diagnose it and fixed the issue. FICM was dropping voltage down to 20 while cranking. Thanks!! Zach H
I have had such a positive experience helping out my son with his 06 6.0, couldn’t have done it without these excellent tutorials. It has really been a blessing watching my boy becoming self reliant and mechanically proficient. These technical reference videos have been essential in that process. I’m generally a cheap miser but I don’t mind spending on quality parts, or equipment that helps makes life more efficient. Patreon access falls into that category for me. Y’all should really consider it.
I have a 2006 F250 4WD that I just had a guy redo the whole front end. Tie rod ends, ball joints, track bar, drag link, etc… He used all Mevotec parts followed by an alignment. This thing has such bad memory steer that it’s ridiculous! Is there a way to remedy this without having to do the whole job again? He said that it’s the parts and that I should have gotten brand x. Before he did the job, he said to stay away from brand x! Needless to say, I’m not happy and want to fix it myself as I’m decently mechanically inclined if you have any suggestions. Thanks!
Cheap ball joints more than likely or combination of that and incorrect torquing. I had to redo mrs automedics excursion soon as we bought it because he had just had the ball joints done by a shady shop that didn’t torque anything right.
@@Freddyflintstones cheap ball joints don’t seat right in the sleeve and are often stiff causing the memory steer. Ive tried unseating and readjusting in the past when they come in. There’s no substitute for quality parts.
My parts supplier plus any research I’ve done shows nothing of Moog supplying precision ball joints. They sure don’t look the same quality…not even close
I can’t believe you don’t have 100,000 subs! Your videos are packed with info!

@@theworkenman1936 that’s awesome. Glad you got it going.
Got to love these modern shops get the job done right the Third time. Always come back for more fixes where there wasn't an issue.

You can loosen the top ball joint nut and and try to unseat the bushing from the knuckle. That’s your problem

Moog supplies precision now

sct x4 or live wire for data?
I’ve only messed with live wire on the 6.7s and 6.4s so I would say sctx4
I feel like you're the modern diesel tech Ron lol. I love watching all your videos and gaining the knowledge for when something does go wrong.
That’s quite a compliment. Thanks for watching.
