Gotta love 6.0s…. “I’m going to break down, but even after you fix me, I’m going to make you question your repair for the first 4 minutes of cranking!”
We did stand pipes and dummy plugs on Gary’s truck a little while back for a crank no start and a upper injector o ring on the passenger side a little while back.
Love the 6.0 content bud keep it coming! Wish I was closer than out in West TX. How best can I support ya my man?? Got a 2003 6.0 Excursion and your videos have been a ton of help!

Hey automedic garage I’ve been seeing some of your videos where the 6.0 won’t start endless there is a quarter of fuel or more. Before my truck stopped running I recall having a very hard start with below a quarter tank and once it was above a quarter tank she started up like nothing.
Question: Once the O-rings on the HPO rail are replaced, do you find they still give problems or are you good for a while? Seems like HPO O-rings are starting to fail on these 6.0’s as they age.
I don’t usually have any trouble out of the nipple cup orings not even upper injector orings that much. Mostly dummy plugs and stand pipes from 04.5-07 and Hpo pumps from 03-04
Thank you, ill be doing this on mine since i have a hot no start as well. How much in parts did you spend if you dont mind me asking and time it took to fix this? So i can plan this out.
Wow! That is a lot of work for one little worn o-ring. Thank you for a clear explanation of the diagnosis and repair. Those nipple cups look like a bear to torque.
I have a f-750 with the vt365 (6.0L) and it has a crank no start but my scanner wont scan it , do i need forscan or a special medium duty scanner to scan it?
Gotta be a special scan tool for medium duty trucks. Has a totally different connector compared to obd 2. I don’t work on many big trucks other than minor stuff because it doesn’t make sense for me to invest in the hardware for it.
Keeping these trucks on the road especially with the cost of a new ones, great video Sir 👍😁

Do you work of the wonderful E series?
Another great video troubleshooting on these trucks by you is awesome. Knowledge is power. Excellent job!
Hey Gary. Don’t sell that truck. If you do want to sell it, let me know.
❤ didn't you change them out already not long a go

@@jess-vc1mh check fuel pressure when it’s there and see if you have a drop in pressure. Keep in mind low fuel pressure in 6.0s kill the injectors

Educational video sir. What is Gary asking for his truck? Looking to upgrade. I have a 05 250 I'm thinking about selling and going back to a 350.

Injector oring set is around $8-10 per injector and the alliant nipple cup orings we did were around $20 for the set
Thank you for your knowledge and reply. Greatly Appreciated

That’s what you get with any oil-fed controls on any engine. It’s a hydraulic system.
