We will miss you Jenny but at the same time happy to see a change for you after all these years working so hard and helping us to learn to make beautiful quilts. Enjoy your journey ❤
We will definitely be supportive of Natalie, Misty and all the MSQC friends, but we will miss you! We'll be so excited to hear from you on your adventure and when you get home too😁 God bless!
Yes, I'll support your family while you're gone! They are all so talented and kind! Each one brings something good and different to the table. I am thankful I found you and your family! I've learned so much and look forward to more!
I went to Africa about 15 years ago on a mission trip - it was a life changing experience. As someone said, vast beauty and lots of poverty. Best of luck and many prayers for your safety.
I'm so excited for you, Jenny, and Mr. Jenny! May your trip to Africa be everything you're searching for and be full of many of God's Blessings for you. You will be so missed! Stay safe and stay in touch! Learn all their things and bring home new projects to teach us! 🙏❤️
Love your Tuesday Newsday - So excited to see and hear all about your Mission to Africa. We had an older couple in our Ward go to Africa, then came home and went to Australia. They loved their mission in Africa so much. And the same with Australia. Wish I knew about your being in Utah at Thanksgiving Point sooner, I would have loved to make a trip to see you. You will be missed. I have quilted most all my life, grew up living behind my maternal grandmother and sat with her and her friends and hand quilted many a quilt in my day. So when I first found you and discovered rotary cutters and long rulers and easier patterns, your MSQC opened my world to so many wonderful quilts and easier, quicker ways to sew them up. Thank you and enjoy your mission and can't wait to hear all about it and see you when you return. May the Lord bless you and Ron and keep you both and your family safe.
Jenny, I learned how to quilt from watching your videos. I used to look at a quilt, and wonder how to do the quilt. Now by watching your videos, I can look at a quilt and figure out some of the patterns.
I live in the UK but my husband works in West Africa in a country called Equatorial Guinea and has done for 16 years now. The communications and that have improved vastly. You will be able to stay in touch with your nearest and dearest Jenny. You will see amazing beauty and astonishing poverty. Africa is an amazing land of vast differences Good luck and enjoy ❤
Hi Jenny. I am so excited about your africa trip. I am from South Africa. I know it is a whole world removed from West Africa, but Africa is my home, and it feels like the whole of Africa is blessed to have you and Ron on our shores.
You will be missed, but oh the rewards for going on this mission trip!! Love Misty’s shows and look forward to seeing more of Natalie! See you at birthday bash!!
I so enjoy everything about Missouri Star Quilt Company! Safe travels to you both. Jenny learn new things and enjoy this part of your journey. Don’t worry we have your kids!❤️
Jenny, I hope you are able to film while in Africa. I do though love both Natalie & Misty, so will continue to watch like I do now. I wouldn't miss anything from all of you. I hope your trip is all that you & Ron want it to be. Bless you both.

I just ordered from Missouri Star Quilts and I am so excited with the items. I am interested finally in actually stitching a quilt and I chose easy beginner projects! Thanks for being there! And I subbed on this UA-cam channel just now. Have a nice time in Africa!
Please know that you have been with me for years on my quilting journey. You are so lovely and have raised a beautiful family. I will remember to pray for you while on your blessed journey.

West Africa does have beautiful fabric. I have fabric from Ghana--enjoy your journey--your example is what is going to be so wonderful, especially for the women of Africa. Thank you for being willing to serve.
My niece, Allie, messaged me yesterday that she’s working a pop-up shop at the birthday bash and will be having a business dinner with y’all during her trip. I’m sending y’all lotsa love through her. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for you and everyone at MSQ. My mother passed this year and she fell in love with everything MSQ from the beginning and about 8 years ago she passed the torth to me and created a love of quilting I have today. I have made 7 quilts now ! My plans are to fill my retirement with everything MSQ even more very soon!
Thank you Jenny. You truly will be missed. We are all in good hands with Natalie, Misty, And the rest of the MSQC family to help keep us on track while you and Ron head to West Africa on your Mission. I’ll pray for your journey and those you encounter and the new friendships you make. May your heart be filled with new memories in your 2 year trip journey. ❤️🙏🙏🙏❤️. 🌸🩷🩷🩷🌸
You said when sewing is your thing, you figure it out. At one time we lived in an 8x35 trailer with 3 children, ages newborn, 15 months, and 6. I figured out I could sew on a small shelf in the bedroom if I sat on the end of the bed!
For paper piecing, you can find plastic templates to use instead of the papers. I found mine at joann's and used them over and over to make a queen sized 1" hexie quilt for my bed.

Love that you are going to serve the Lord, but we will miss you terribly! Misty and Natalie will do a great job in the interim, but I will be looking forward to occasional glimpses of you when possible! :) Praying for your safety and God's blessings on your mission!
Love your laugh and joy. Will miss your videos. A friend is a designer who will be at the garden of quilts. Sounds like such a fun time. Happy Tuesday.❤😊

We are going to be blessed to see Ron and Jenny adventures in Africa along with the hometown girls Natalie and Misty. We will be double blessed. God go with you all and bless you all. Happy Sewing
You’ll be missed by so many, but such an adventure awaits you and Ron! If you put vinyl in the back of your quilt you could do the quilting upside down ie mark the pattern on the vinyl and FMQ it!
Good morning Jenny. Where is Africa are you going. Let us know and maybe we could help with whatever you need or want to know. Living in Africa is like another world. Take care. Blessings and love.
Jenny, get a weighted hula hoop. I promise it is all the difference in the world. I can’t do a regular one but the weighted ones are easy to keep up. You can even make them with black 3/4 -polyethylene tubing and a connector wrapped in fun duct tape. Someone could do a class at birthday bash making them or sell them.
