      Might not be exactly what you want but Framework laptops are fully upgradeable and pretty cool, might be a decent option for you.

    • @Paperbatvgchampion
      @Paperbatvgchampion 3 місяці тому +3

      @@cosmicslime1496 Framework is the better off the shelf solution. However, you lose some of the versatility that this gaming AIO provides. The parts for the AIO are more interchangeable and can be found from multiple retailers, and has more of an upgrade path. With Scottiesnipes being a pilot, he would also most likely have an iPad laying around. A lot of flight planning tools can only be used on IOS devices. So he wouldn't necessarily have to pack a screen for it.

    • @cosmicslime1496
      @cosmicslime1496 3 місяці тому +2

      @@Paperbatvgchampion but still, a laptop much lighter and much easier to carry around. Also I'm not a pilot but I don't know what they do that requires a powerful full size desktop GPU. Those would use a lot more power too. Seems a bit overkill to me?

    • @Paperbatvgchampion
      @Paperbatvgchampion 3 місяці тому +3

      I doubt they would need it to be that powerful for their career. Perhaps they'd need it for side-hustles (for programs like CAD and Davinci Resolve) or no-compromise gaming. If nothing else, a AIO build would be fun and give them something to brag about.

    • @spegal08
      @spegal08 Місяць тому

      I'll be travelling full time soon and have been researching this for a bit. I think the oversight is the upgrade path for these cases. Depending on how small the case and layout you will still be limited on upgrades and part swaps. RAM and SSD sure, but CPU is dependent on the next gen being the same socket and gpu is totally dependent on what manufacturer decides to do a low profile gpu on the next generation.
      All that said, the cons aren't stopping me from going this route.

    Hey Devin, I think you remember the comment I had made a few hours ago on your last video about the change of video formats, and you had replied that I might like this video which you've posted today. You were right! This style of videos where there's some light background music in some of the shots and the editing is well done with some shots in which you were doing voiceovers... I think you know what I'm saying. The "old format" of the videos have returned which I, personally really like! I don't know about other people but man... This is just a near perfect style of video creation. And, great job on this pc build, putting a touchscreen monitor on a full custom pc, whilst maintaining the portability is a difficult goal to achieve.
    That's all I wanted to say. Have a good day, people.

    Fantastic use of acrylic and overall DFM. I'd recommend filleting your corners slightly more. From experience, 6mm acrylic is sturdy for builds like this, though be advised that its brittleness could be VERY annoying, especially in high stress concentration points like the hinge screws, as it may chip or form cracks. You could also try MDF as an alternative BUUUUT you run the risk of fire hazards so probably best to stick with tour current material choice. Very impressive and creative project
