That’s what happens when a company sends out tons of hardware and said hardware is actually interesting. In this case the price point and functionality is interesting.
@@inmypaants The price is like that for now but if it gets popular, they'll up the MSRP. For example, the NR200 started at around 80 and ended up being 130 on average. This case if it becomes popular will definitely be 120. Still worth the money compared to all the greedy fucks selling itx cases for over 200.
It is like they all were shipped one for free, under NDA. Given their low costs, this is awesome marketing, for a super low costs. It goes without saying, that almost every reviewer actually made a video about this, because they all seem to like the case.
@@baconbreadwithbaconokay, pump the brakes. not everyone is cooler master or deepcool, who can mass-manufacture their cases and sell them that cheap and still be profitable. the niche sff market is still very much community-driven with a lot of individuals designing cases. it's not greedy to want to make a margin on something as well-engineered as the Formd T1, for example.
@@maximus3294 There are smaller companies in Asia that make high quality itx cases for 120. It's all greed when these supposedly low volume companies ask for 200. It's nonsense. I'm tired of people defending these companies. Many of these low volume companies use the same OEM. They're either stupid and like getting ripped off or they're greedy.
This looks fantastic. I really appreciate you adding the noise test section, as excessive pc noise drives me completely nuts. I've watched all your build videos, but this one really looks like the one I want to build.
I was waiting for a build in this case! That's exactly what I planning for my build except for the GPU. Looks amazing and very portable, and that's what I looking for!! 10/10!!!
I'm very excited about this case. Great layout, component support, cooling, and aesthetics, all for $70. And your build is a beautiful showcase of its potential.
Exactly the air cooler I was thinking of when I saw the new case! Great video as usual, Devyn! As for the ATX PSU, Enermax has one called the Revolution D.F. 12. What's unique about theirs is that it's ATX-sized, but lengthwise it's shorter than an SFX-L PSU (122mm vs. 130mm). It also has braided cables and ATX 3.0/12VHPWR support. Not being able to install the front case fan aside, I think this PSU is perfect for the CH160, G200, and other such lunchbox cases.
Try watching at 2x speed. UA-cam is so boring for me at regular speed. But I binge/watch a ton at 2x speed because it’s more compelling and more info per minute that way.
THANK YOU for specifying that you can fit a 310mm GPU in this case. Seeing builds and pictures, it looked like you could but I wasn't sure. Every review video I've seen never even bothered to test if this was the case. Now I know! I have a Red Dragon 6800xt which is 310mm and I thought I coudln't fit it in that case.
@Devyn Johnston, I really like your channel. You provide a very elegant touch to your builds. You don't rely on flashy visual and auditory effects like other channels do. You keep it simple, and your builds speak to the quality of your channel. Like I said, your builds are elegant. Keep it up!
I really liked that case. Most small cases like that have no dust filter, which is a deal breaker for me. This one not only has a beautiful glass panel on one side, but has dust filters on the other side, plus on top and bottom. It really is one I will strongly consider if I ever end up building a small PC.
The Asus Dual is great. I have the same model as a 7800XT. The Ch160 immediatly cought my attention. I'm more of a mATX kinda guy, which is like 0-drawbacks to a fullATX build, but this case is nice! Was already a big fan of the CH370, a mATX build with a white exterior and black interior. I'ts gonna be a long time until I upgrade again, but this will be considered. In the r/mffpc scene, the AP201 is extremely popular, similar to teh hype fo the o11 dynamic back then. This CH160 is essentially that, just a bit smaller again, but still fits everything. I think this is gonna be super popular
Cool video and all other your ITX builds. Im kind of bored of my current build o11 mini, but i want to build somethink compact, new and smaller. I have already make a shopping list. Thank you for your share
I would like to see this case with a mesh front panel. As it has a handle, I would be worried about the glass being broken every time I moved it (my current ITX build is portable and is moved around from time to time). Other than that, it's a solid case - especially at that price point.
i built a pc in this case with a 4080 super founders edition and ak620 digital cooler. GPU load temps 55c and cpu 65c while gaming for hours. There is no other extra fan in my case.
should try find a way to hook a portable screen up to a small itx case to have a portable desktop to flex on gaming laptops (not very hard already tbh)
Is there any good alternatives to this case that fits identical hardware? It's sold out everywhere I looked. Also, the link to the fans is broken. What types of case fans would be doable?
I really like this case specifically, and I think it'll be my next project. I'm switching from mATX to ITX bc I find mATX to still be way too large. A question I had was about the CPU cooler, I feel like the AK620 is a bit overkill there, especially bc I will only be using a 65watts CPU. What do you reckon? Would a AK500/500S or even AK400 do the job?
@Devyn love you channel and builds. This one in particular. The FE card you managed to squeeze in was 310mm, do you think the MSI 4080 SUPER EXPERT into this case? Specifications says its 312mm in length.
Thank you for confirming the ASUS TUF fits - pretty sure they just tested it as the largest GPU to drop in and set its dimensions as the limit - but I was confused and now I know!
I love the build. I will use it when I build mine. However, I thinks the air flow should be opposite direction. The front fan should be exhaust fan so it can also suck out hot air from the GPU. Also you will not need the near fan.
Weird nobody is showing any builds with an ATX power supply (just saying it fits) which I feel is what most people who'd be interested in buying this case would be using or they'd just another case (like the NR200P)
That’s because an ATX PSU will limit a lot of dimensions of other components (like explained with the GPU in this video) and therefore it is wise and (generally something that most SFF builders do anyway) to put in an SFX(L) PSU. Furthermore for a very long time now (since the Corsair SF750 came out) you don’t need an ATX PSU to have a lot of wattage. Corsair just came out with an SFX 1000 watt PSU and last year I believe you can even buy an SFX PSU with 1100 and 1300 watt
@@emiel255 Not the point I was making. If it supports ATX PSU's, but nobody wants to build with one in the case because, "reasons" then it only supports it on paper. That said I did find videos later that showed full ATX builds, but just as that happened I ended up getting a 3080ti which wouldn't fit in the case with an ATX PSU. I could make it fit, but this case can't be easily returned to retailers near me so I opted to just keep my case.
@ aah I see then I misunderstood sorry about that!👊🏽 and I agree with what you said it’s only a spec on paper but it’s just too limiting to other components and therefore not really worth it
I think this will have to be my first build... If I don't build in the CH370. Aside from me needing something small to fit on my desk, I love the minimalism, portability and compact nature of this build. This build has everything I'm looking at aside from the CPU, thinking I'll get the Ryzen 9 7900 instead and the lack of RGB puts me just under my budget.
Case looks cool, disappointed that deepcool decided against a few centimeters at the from to actually fit larger cards and or do proper cable management. Anyways. I'll keep an eye on it
I would have liked to see a comparison between the G200 (Lunchbox 2.0 video). The cases are VERY similar, and I think it would be good to know what is better/worse about each option. I have the G200, which your video helped me decide to get, but there are a couple features that I like on this case so have been thinking about swapping over (less airflow restriction, option for front fan and SFX mounting, better I/O). The one thing that I really dont like on this case is the tempered glass side panel, if they had a mesh panel I would have ordered it already.
6:50 would an ATX Corsair RMx Shift solve the cable clearance issue? It has cables on the side, not back. I think it must fit because the case is pretty wide.
I feel like with some modifications it would be possible to fit an matx motherboard in there with 2 pcie slots. would need to rotate the psu 90deg, but I think that could be clutch for content creators who want to use capture cards alongside a 2 slot GPU
