my ankle is stiff!! also minor bone discomfort slightly above and out side. I cant even touch wall with my knee doing that other test. Sprains suck soo bad! Anybody else hate mornings waking up and all that pressure seems to be the worst.
You should do stretches, I'm after fracture, a month out of boot, started to do stretches about a week ago and already can touch the wall with my knee.
Nice video , just reply one thing after how many days of injury we can start these excercises. For me its been 40 days on minor injury and currently I only started little walk within house only.
I just rolled my ankle again while helping one of my children practice for soccer. Not super bad but less than a year ago I rolled one bad enough to need surgery. I am looking for something to help mitigate future injuries because I want to be able to provide a challenge and partner for my children in athletic ventures for many years to come. Bombard me with links!
Hi, Aswin. Mark suggests waiting for swelling to go down and range of motion to return before beginning strengthening exercises. You can read more about that here:shine365.marshfieldclinic.org/bone-joint/ankle-strengthening-after-injury/. Unfortunately, we cannot provide individualized medical advice on this forum. Ask your doctor about your injury, tolerance for strengthening exercises and whether an exercise program is right for you.
Is been over a year and the outside of my ankle still hurts from a bad soccer sprain. It feels really unstable and weak. Every now and than it hurts randomly. These exercises will strengthen my ankle but will it take the pain away?

I cant even move my anke froward when my heel is on the ground like my body is telling me no wtf are you doing do you want sharp pain? Been like this for a month, guess im fucked for life welp
Can these exercises be done if one has sustained a broken ankle? I am finding my foot very stiff and swollen, still even though my surgeon is telling me that the break itself has healed very well.
I don’t know when you’re injury occurred but I fractured my tib/fib on dec 30/2020. Surgery was Jan 6/21. The cast was removed on feb 25. I got a stirrup brace after cast removal and told to weight bear some while still using crutches.the three exercises I was given seemed very simple but weren’t so simple to do. My lower leg felt like a cement block and I wasn’t able to move my foot forward or back but only maybe three inches in the beginning. It is starting to improve but the swelling is still quite substantial and so is the pain. I’m now ambulating with one crutch(on the good side). Three days ago I decided to walk without a crutch for the entire day and I paid for that choice yesterday. The pain and swelling was horrendous so today I’m one crutching again.I’ve concluded it’s going to be a slow process and I’m going to have to have patience.Just keep at it no matter how minimal your improvement seems. You will get there. Good luck in your recovery and rehabilitation.I do know these exercises aren’t realistic(or recommended) for anyone who recently had their cast removed.
I’ve been spraining my ankles pretty bad between a grade one and two sprains. Glad I found this.
I'm so glad you showed a close-up of the woman's ankle, because I didn't realize I was supposed to look at her ankle.
These are such helpful videos. Thank you for these!
Very clearly explained and demonstrated, thank you!!!

@@caetanas1783 it took at least a month or so after I injured it. Probably didnt help I was wearing tight high tops around my puffy ankle.
It was pleasure to watch.
😊
Great video, gives me hope after flying out of a car last year. Such a kind, professional man.

I flew out of a car too that's why I'm here, just about to get out of my moonboot, hopefully this week.

Maybe but if there is a fracture in there then no
