Full scan = Bring against wall and ask "what are you?" repeatedly
Frondome Martha can Full Scan me anytime lol
XD hilarious
Frondome borderline police harassment 😂
yeah it's called the Trump Technique
God...that was really funny...made my day
Everyone is afraid of the weeping angels and the silence, but if i ever see an old lady with a straw i'll run fast, VERY fast
That's because if you saw one of the silence you will forget to run, and if you saw a weeping angle you would have no time to run (unless you're some freak who can run backwards :D)
Hassan Selim Who can't run backwards?
The Rat Guy Sure everybody can run backwards ... if they can convince themselves that they wont trip over :D (I can do it for like one second)
Touche :P
well after that experiance i should say so buuuut if shes a time traveling old lady with a straw your um *gulps* yeah
"Hold on hold on I did geography GCSE, I passed that one."
Am I the only to find that super hilarious? XD
I just heard the line when I saw the comment. And yes, it is hilarious.
you can hear his real accent in it!!!!
That is the sharpest straw I think I've ever seen
ScorpiousDelectus ScopiovsDelectvs
@Shea Webb
Cut a straw at an acute angle, you'll get a super thick syringe.
Straws are cylinders. Cylinders are the strongest shapes on Earth.
@Zachary Matthew James
That statement makes no sense. Different shapes are "stronger" for different purposes. Egg shapes are strongest for eggs, arches are strongest for bridges, cylinders are strongest for pylons, domes are strongest for roofs, etc.
Nah, The Doctors just a soft, squishy baby.
I love it when he rambles. And then he's laughing and acting as if he knows nothing. Like a daft, little child wandering from place to place.
"Why should I have cake? I've got my little straw."
"Oh, that's nice. Milkshake? Uh, I like banana..."
{but this line tho}-
"You're quite the funny man. And yet I think, laughing on purpose, at the darkness. I think it's time you've found peace."
Isn't that just the doctor tho
I laugh at the darkness all the time. Simba taught me to do that when he was trying to impress Nala in the elephant graveyard... and then they had to run away from hyenas that wanted to eat them. I was happy when Tennant started quoting The Lion King :)
The bit about the darkness is foreshadowing, or just a generic throwaway line? Because the darkness is coming is a theme in series 4, so maybe it's not linked to that.
I like the part where there doctor pretends he's human and says what a human would say. Rhinos from space. xD
technically, it's a human pretending to be the doctor pretending to be human, so it's probably the easiest acting in the whole dang series for him. Still hilarious though XD
@@Twisted_Code well, on the other hand it's a Scot pretending to be English so that's even further than the human pretending to be an alien /s
@@petersenior5432 I'm from the US so I'll have to take your word for it XD
It was hard for David to say word with "oon" at the end without reverting back to his Scottish accent, so they invented a creature called the Judoon so he would have to say "a Judoon platoon upon the moon"
"What, has this place got an ET Department?"
HOW DID I MISS THAT BEFORE THAT'S ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS
I love that I can’t tell if The Doctor is playing up the fear at the straw or he’s actually afraid
I love it when the Doctor acts dumb or human. Well. That's kind of the same thing.
Haha!
I'm not the only one who read that "well" in David's voice, right?
No, no you are not.
Well our planet is the planet of the pudding brains.
At 50, well once you pointed it out I went back and did, it was easy to do and kind of hard to stop 0_o
"I've got my straw!"
"Oh, that's nice! Uh... Milkshake?"
Laughed so hard.
I like banana....
It’s a good source of potassium, you know
@@olived9560 underrated
Old lady : yea, you
Now hold him still I won't want my milkshake to be squirming.
"Laughing on purpose at the darkness". This. Exactly this, is one of the best descriptions I've heard of how the Doctor sometimes is. 3:32
Who agrees Doctor Who is one of the best TV shows ever in history?
Here! ME! Memememe!
YES
YESSSS
Me!!!!
ME ME ME ME
i hate when people slag off martha for falling for the doctor but imagine this a wonderful man kisses you and tells you that by kissing you millions of lives will be saved bc of the kiss. i mean how could you not?
+collette m
....... You just don't. I mean, sure, a million lives would be saved, but that's still a very creepy scenario, 'cause that's still a stranger.
+collette m I Slag her off because she was trying to hard, constantly whinning because they went to places where Rose had been, the constant reminded that she was black by putting her in old time england where she was a maid with that racist joke and again in Manhatten. Then we see its her fault the Master returns when she kept on and on about the fob watch Yana had, all that with her character and she was annoying.
na i only stopped liking her after she left and became more of a soldier
If Ten kissed me then of course I'd fall in love with him! Technically everyone does fall in love with the Doctor one way or another.
Oh and Rose never whined at all, did she?
Martha was one of the best in my opinion. She deserves way more credit I love Martha
I liked her too, In all fairness I liked most companions :)
Jeeze, really? another one? I personally could not stand Martha!
Hey,What about Donna Noble!
*****
How does being 'smart' even come into it!? and for your information my Favorite of the New Who companions is Clara, Followed closly by Donna!
I love them all. Some more then others. But I still love them all cause they were all good
1:29 "Non-human trace suspected"
_Suspected_? You mean you're not sure? That's some crummy technology you got there, bud.
PlasticFeast 3 years late but it confirms it a second later not sire how you could miss that I'm assuming you just purposely ignored it.
They're rhinos with a caveman language, cut them some slack.
i think "has this place got a ET department" was better then "your joshing me"
I totally agree
For Halloween I'm just gonna carry a straw around haha
And I'll be running!
2023 styll here
This has got to be one of the weirdest new who episodes; a hospital gets taken to the moon by giant space rhino bounty hunters who scan people in search of a criminal in the form of an elderly woman, disguised as patient and disguises herself by sucking the blood out of people with a straw(with the help of her 2 biker assistants entirely made of leather.)... I like it but it's undeniably odd.
The straw was the only part that came across as odd to me.
Lobajoba Lobajoba
I mean... Classic Who is more weirder than this.
This is like one of my favourite episodes though lol
According to the Doctor, Florence Finnegan (Plasmavore) wasn't drinking blood - she was assimilating it: after she assimilates Mr. Stoker's blood, mimics the biology, then she registers as human. Therefore, Finnegan is an internal shape-changer.
She has her special straw.... "It adds more fizz"
Chris Bedee Bonus points for the eleven reference !!
Ewww...lol...and yet, perfect!
"Laughing on purpose at the darkness" 3:30 Sums up the way the Doctor acts sometimes rather nicely.
That straw's a bit... sharp, isn't it?
My thoughts exactly...
They clearly used the same straw that can poke a hole into an orange from those tropicana commercials.
+professor whom your comment made my day
It obviously pointed like the straws in juice packs
alien straws
can we just take a moment to appreciate that really great hair
My god David Tennant is so gorgeous.
VoicePlayLover_TWDFan93 You're not bad yourself :P
CosmicUndeadElf Thanks
+VoicePlayLover_TWDFan93 I think he's coming ont to you
Big boom 29 Not really, was just a casual compliment
It's funny because both people I replied to here have changed their name since then
Martha: **stops breathing out of shock** that was nothing?
so that's where Black Stig went...
If he wanted that kiss to mean nothing, then why didn't he just lick her face or something?
Isabel Garcia would you like it if a stranger would come up to you just to lick your face :D ? i guess the kiss was the better solution
WandaMobil what about a kiss on the cheek?
Licking across her lips or entire face might have also done the trick
+Isabel Garcia
A kiss would ensure that his residue would stick on her.
because it would be more weird if he did that
I swear David Tennant just loves kissing
DT is a SNOGvore kissing is how he feeds. He NEEDS your LOVE to survive!
The Doctor looked daft trying to act human! LOL!
Seriously, why does everyone hate Martha? She's easily the best companion of the new series and one of the best companions ever as a whole.
Oh, wait. I know why people hate her...
Because she's not Rose.
-_-
martha bias
Clara Oswald holds that position lol
Yeah she came as people were missing Rose I guess.
I prefer Dona as David's best, but yeah Martha gets to much hate.
Rose litterally is one of the most important companions tho. Just look at day of the doctor
Does anyone else want the clip of the Doctors speech about death in Closing Time? When he's talking to Craig.
You could request it for a Throwback Thursday, just go onto the vid and post a comment.
yes!
Zemelci Will Do!
Ronan...I'm starting to feel as if we have the exact same interests.
Most likely XD
1:57 *Very impressive* the Plasmavore can do this, considering that the Hospital is on the moon & therefore would be cut off from local electricity; & yet electricity is running in the hospital normally presumably from back-up generators which can somehow continue to power up the hospital like normal & massively power the Plasmavore’s electromagnetic pulse to the point that it can reach & vaporise one side of Earth.
That's probably one of the overlooked plot holes. Honestly good catch, even I didn't think of it. Also I'm not sure how a regular earth MRI machine can even go up to 50k Tesla, I think the max is around 10 T.
3:20
I like the subtle nod to Eccleston there, bananas are good :)
"What, has this place got an ET department?" That killed me. I did not even realize the joke first few times i have seen this
I loved Martha so much!
You know, I love all the doctors. The eleventh and twelfth are amazing, but man, it's scenes like this that make ten my favorite. I really miss him.
Ah, that's where Black Stig ended up after diving off the aircraft carrier.
awww. she made him into a little doctor cola.
*bows* I'm here all week.
More like made him into Dr. Pepper
The Master ooooooooh ! good one !
I got tons more....Except I'm being chased RIGHT NOW by the Doctor for calling him that so uh......Bye?
+Mysticalwinterwolf That would work out fine thank you.
How can you just stick a straw into somebody's neck like that
Well if you plug the end up you can shove a straw through a potato, so I imagine it's the same principle, just a bit more gorey...
Well... She's alien who can assimilate other species' blood... I think it's not an ordinary straw...
It would have to be a very sharp straw
There's a lot of great scenes on this channel! Love Doctor Who! And this episode had some great humour and the hospital setting is creepy for me! Can't wait to make more Doctor Who Edits!
I’ll take old ladies with straws or old ladies with eyes coming out of their mouths over old ladies screaming ‘Benni’
For gods sake!
This lady thinks the Doctor is a...
Doctor, pepper.
I'll show myself out...
+Jordan73101 Ye that would be best option for everyone.
lol :)
that got an audible laugh out of me, good job lol
The Doctor kisses all his companions... 9th doctor kissed Rose, 10th kissed Donna, Martha and Rose and 11th kissed Clara and Amy! HE DOESNT STOP DOES HE!?!
10th kissed Rose (but Cassandra made him), Martha and Donna. As well as Madam Du Pompador, Jack, and a bunch of others.
How bout Rory, he's a companion
@@archeishere1 11 kissed Rory😏
@@Allaroundtheworld99 wait did Captain Jack....
@@archeishere1 YEP
Bananas again Doctor? Bananas are good. :) I love the way the Doctor is acting human by freaking out about the aliens and the moon. He's so cute, talking about cake and being cheerful.
"I've got my little straw!"
Anyone else think of the next Doctor bragging about his fizzy straw in 1969 Utah and laugh?
It's funny when people think there's a reference to the movie ET in this video
Scott Gerrard Extra Terrestrial close enough
There is, right?
There is
He says is there a et department
cause maybe he wants to phone home
"Bloody space rhinos, with guns, on the moon!!!" XD
I'm here like wow the doctors good at acting human and then I realise o wait....its a human playing the doctor
Its a human playing the doctor whos pretending to be a humanb
The doc has super strength but they rarely ever show him having it
this is still one of the best episodes there is :)
The NHS is nothing like this...
Nothing like rhino men and bloodsuckers in a hospital? Dude really that's incredible you've made this conclusion
Majorbomper the bloodsuckers are the tories
Not just the Tories, Jeremy Hunt
Are you sure?
one of the best episodes ever in my opinion.
0:10 Lucky Rose wasn't around to see that.
Except for me, safe in this room! LOL. The sound of the straw going in sounds disturbing a bit. One of my fave episodes.
He talks so fast and every word is adorable
10th doctor > everything else
I agree
So let me get this straight, it's an NHS hospital on the moon, there's an old vampire lady taking over the place with the Stig as her right-hand, a bunch of scary rhino people looking for said old vampire lady and the Stig, and David Tennant just kissed the hot girl from law and order who would go on to be his travelling companion? Sweet.
My favorite thing is David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor saying "You're joshing me."
Lady with a straw beats a Judoon Platoon on the Moon. When Bram Stoker gets it wrong, it was a straw, not fangs!
The one dislike on this video is from Miss Finnegan.
Well now, it has 3 dislikes. I knew it would happen.
Jonathan Tran NOW 4!
Jonathan Tran NOW 10!
The 11th Doctor Hahahahaa
captain jack harkness Where are you now?
"You're Joshing me" 😆😆🤣🤣
"Does this place have an ET department?" xD
Doctor: *confused face*
Old Lady: *stabs him in the neck with a straw*
Doctor: *confused face*
Love him acting human. XD That high voice. “On the moon!”
2:38 thats the approx. time when he says the sacred words of the joshing! 'No, you're joshing me!'
I miss this season
The gallifreyan equivalent of failing a class is still a PhD anywhere on earth
"I'm afraid this is going to hurt. But if it's any consolation, the dead don't tend to remember."
0:37 is that a reference to doom? Man going back there must be a lot of secret references I'm only getting now
1:07 the Stigs Alien Cousin
for a second i was confused because the title said smith and it has tennant on the video
...you realize that the Doctor's go-to human name is John Smith, right?
"What has this place got an ET department" LOL
First of all, 0:12 - 0:15: I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS!!! Like....EXCUSE ME, ROSE!!!! Second of all, 3:54 to the end makes me so furious on so many levels. I could barely watch it first time round. Powerful scene. Great show.
I love Smith and Jones. So much fun, great ideas, great acting.
"It could save a thousand lives"
Now that is one good chat up line ;D
best math problem ever:
B=n2a2
Banana
10 years. My God, has it been that long?
2:20 I didn't realize Thanos was in this episode.
What I've never gotten is how the straw punctures the skin. It's not like it's a needle!
perhap's it's pointed at the end, you know like a syringe needle? or she has one of them mosquito needles in her tongue that shoots out through it :P
The Rabbid Yeah, maybe! But in the show we don't see any pointed end.
Jonah Safern Well like anything Doctor Who if it's not shown directly it can be assumed it's an Alien thing :D
Lol, yup!
Maybe it's a different kind of plastic, which isn't as flimsy as the plastic we use for straws on Earth. In which case all she has to do is press it into the skin hard enough to puncture it.
ah yes season three the peek of Davis' writing for doctor who
Dude, I'd forgotten how pretty Martha was
The noise the straw makes.
“What has this place got an E.T department?” Love that line
I'm curious on when they'll release the 12th Doctor subscribe outro
When you've just finished watching Goblet of Fire and David Tennant appears in your recommended.
Love this entire episode ;) it's fantastic
Wonder if her little straw adds any fizz?
Please tell me I'm not the only one who likes the blue suit over the brown one.
Does anyone even say 'your joshing me?'
David Tennant's scene in the MRI scanning room reminds me a lot of Patrick Troughton's Doctor.
marvelous I'm looking for season and episode number and again, not added to the description.
I never realised how ridiculously strong she made that magnet.
'you're joshing me!'
"Great big space Rhinos on the moon!! And i only came in for mah bunions" classic Doctor 😂
Milkshake, he likes Banana 3:25. Always Banana's...
Love it when David say moon. 😂 his accent is great.
It would be nice if they listed the episode number, ever time they released these clips. Luckily I remember this one is at the start of season 3.
'Has his place got an ET department' X)
The Doctor playing human is always hilarious
I miss his well and alons-y so much
