Omg!!!! I literally came to see this after your October favorites video and I was driving and hear my name lol. Thank you so much for the shout out girl. I can’t wait to see this. Let’s goooo!
Dang girl what a massive plant!!! Wowza! What a score!! She is gorgeous!! Sorry about the rot. However you already know by now that they are hardy and she will be perfect!! The variegation is STUNNING and totally worth the rehab. I do find that mine gets edema soooooooo easy and I had to back off on the water.
Hey girl, just started the video but I really appreciate you trying to work on your camera angles lol. I wanted to watch I think your last video but couldn’t really see what you were doing! Don’t stress too much, I’m sure you’ll get it all figured out soon! Good luck with your new plant!! 💖 P.S. Shannon packed that plant so well and it’s freaking beautiful!
Thank you!! Figuring out where to set up where you can see me and what I’m doing can be tricky sometimes because of space but I can definitely improve! I actually got the plant from a seller on Etsy but Shannon recommended the species of plant in one of her videos so I’m definitely grateful!!
@@heck6330 Awww, I know it! I saw the comment and it made me immediately feel bad for you. Obviously you’re trying your best to put out helpful content and I’m sure there’s so much more than most people realize goes into filming a video. You have a beautiful home, a stunning plant collection and a totally cool vibe 🥰 Try not to let those people ruin things for you because you’re doing a great job and I wish you nothing but the best!
Honestly I’ve been very fortunate that 99% of everyone has been so incredibly kind and wonderful and truly a joy to interact with. Sometimes people just don’t understand how to communicate things the best way or maybe they’re just going through something tough in their lives that makes them a bit abrasive. I really believe the plant community as a whole is the absolute best and even the “negative” comments are generally mild. You’re so sweet to take your time to leave such thoughtful and supportive comments and I appreciate y’all sooooo much!!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
@@leaveswithles You are very welcome my friend 🥰 It’s just who I am lol. I’m glad to know that the majority of people have been kind and you’re right, you never know what someone may be going through. Have a beautiful week and I look forward to new content. Take care hun!
I go back and forth between liking variegated and non-variegated more. Nowadays I tend to really like funky unique variegation that just kind of pulls me in!
Same. I find it fascinating when I look at the textures of a el choco(velvety) to a Alocasia bisma platinum(veiny) then to a white knight(looks like muscle fibers off of our bodies)

They’re so resilient it’s crazy! Her new little roots are already shooting out from everywhere 😆 Thank you for the tip!!! 💚🌱
You cleaned her up beautiful!!! The end was amazing! It was disappointing to see such root rot.
Thank you! It was definitely an unwelcome surprise but I have faith she’ll come back even better!!

Very beautiful! So sad it had root rot. :/
Thank you!! I know :( Fortunately it seems to be recovering so I have hope for her!
Girl, you need your doctoral degree 👩🏽⚕️ you operated and saved that plant!! 🥰🎉🎉💚
Thank youuu! Patient is doing well and recovering 👩🏼⚕️💉😆
I bet it will bounce back for you I really like Antherium Birdnest
I have Antherium Jenmanii it has grown so big really enjoy your videos
Thank you so much! I have Jenmanii as well- so beautiful and love the texture!!
you should see what has come through from overseas, lol. speaking of now the weather is cooler I wonder what Ecuagenera has.
That’s why I haven’t ventured into importing yet lol!! Although this would be a good time of year 🤔😆
@@leaveswithles I shouldn't have tempted myself, because I succumbed, lol. They have Anthurium sherzerianum for 25, and I couldn't stop there.
kinda sick of verigated plants, i prfer shape and texture, maybe just too overhyped

cool but damn kinda sickly looking
I know 😅 I love weird variegation and crusty Hoyas but I know it definitely isn’t for everyone!
