      Antiperspirants and/or undershirts. Wear undershirts that are neutral in color. If the shirt is somewhat see-through, use undershirts that is close to your skin tone as to not have it stand out.

      Honestly I'd take a slick ditital over Vincero, genuine leather on a formal watch? Vincero is trying too hard and failing.
      It's overdressing and underdressing depending on the situation, . But if you like it, or some model suits you go for it.
      Vincero is like imitation crabmeat, you may like it or even prefer it to the real thing but please don't order it at Wendy's and order real crab at high dine.

From white to gray to red the outfit looked not only more formal, but to my eye the overall tone was darker. Also thanks Antonio for pointing out that short guys have short legs. Just jabbin ya, keep up the awesome work!

    I've always heard that if you are shorter to avoid pants that are cuffed because they make your legs look shorter. I also sewed some small discreet snaps in some pants that had pocket flaring issues. That way if I needed the pocket I could still use it.Otherwise I could snap it closed and no pocket flares.

    You're right, dry cleaning should only be done when necessary! I have seen many men take suits to a dry cleaning when all that is neede is a pressing. I recommend 3 things to prolong time between that dry cleaning visit. First and most important, get a clothes steamer. They remove wrinkles but are easier to use than ironing, do not damage the fabric and eliminate most orders. If you haven't used one check out a video to see how it's done. A word of warning do not steam the front of your suit jacket, it might cause puffiness but the front seldom wrinkles nor is of the place where oders originate. Our grandfathers always had a clothing brush for good reason, this item removes surface dirt and dust. Last don't be afraid to dampen a washcloth with plain tap water to remove spots. Yes plain tap will take care of the overwhelming majority of spots on a wool suit.

    Here's handy hack: On old or new shirts, turn them inside out and put a dab of clear nail polish on all of the button threads, let dry and you'll never have a button thread unravel and loose a button! I do this as soon as I buy a new shirt and haven't lost a button in 10 years.

    The tip to only get clothes cleaned when they're dirty is a great one. I see way too many people washing clothes after one wear and wondering why those items don't last long. Same goes for jeans and things like hoodies. If you spill something on them then of course wash them but generally you shouldn't wash after every wear.

    • @JamesR404
      @JamesR404 2 роки тому

      So this is really an interesting tip. I have been dry-cleaning my shirts after every wear! Eugh.
      So, but if I just launder them, how do I get rid of the wrinkles? I'd have to iron them?
      What's the idea?

    • @Mr.M1STER
      @Mr.M1STER 2 роки тому

      @@JamesR404 I'm not sure what you mean. My original comment was aimed at jeans or hoodies for example. If your shirts get sweaty/smelly after one wear then of course I would say wash them.

    Excellent video. Can you do a vid on belt, watch strap, and shoe combos? Can leather nylon strapped bands be paired with leather loafers or mixing suedes and leathers etc. ? Just curious.

    • @misskim2058
      @misskim2058 3 роки тому

      Suedes and leathers, yes, if their colors go together. They don’t have to be the exact same color, they just have to look good together, preferably if not a match then a lighter shade of the same color (a great way to get familiar with that is to go to the paint store and get some paint swatches that have 5 to 7 colors on the same “Paint chip” or swatch, they will always be lighter or darker shades of the same color, they will go together. Get some that look like the colors that you wear, it will help get familiar. I know there are a fair bit of color blind guys out there, they may need to have somebody help them organize their wardrobe so they don’t do something like mix red, burgundy, brown in one outfit).
      You usually don’t want to mix some thing with a warm undertone, like a warm caramel color with something with a cool undertone, like a khaki or greyish or cool brown, but otherwise you can have suede and leather together. Avoid nylon on belt, watch strap and shoes altogether.

    Antonio, I was your 271st Sub, yep not even kidding. That happened about 6-7 years ago I think. As a humble sub, I can request you the only area of dressing or personality development improvement you are lacking advice would be on fountain pens. No, that doesn't mean I'm black marking you my friend, you are my absolute top of that order style guru, you made me who I am today. But I will be very much delighted if you could also give tips and encourage everyone to use fountain pens, the absolute power dressing style weapon of choice. Infact I would literally die if you could partner with MR. Brain Goulet of Goulet Pens, he such a charming humble admirer just like you. Please have a talk with him and do a co-lab series. Infact he is interested in your contents, I have asked about it a long time back to him. I have been a fountain penaddict for a long time, it's somewhat dismay if you could pair a good Pilot or Sailor or Platinum or Visconti HP oreven a Mont Blanc 149 with your blazers.
    Love and Immense Respect from India 🇮🇳
    Please do a Collab with Mr. Brian Goulet, such a pleasent bloke he is.
