Need to clarify, for most people the benefits come without a single day of exercise. If you can exercise, that will accelerate results for you physically and visually.
But the MAIN goal is internal healing.

Exactly…😎 the word diet is always associated with eating for a set period of time or until a goal is met … what actual just means - 1.
the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community is intended or habitually eats

That mind fog was the one for me, 40 odd years I lived in this state, just couldn`t figer it out, every now and then maybe once or twice a year I`d wake up and the fog would be gone, I couldn`t figer out what it was all about, I remember I`d wake and my mind would be working feeling great so I`d speak to people again, great I can hold a conversation then I would wake the next morning back to square one, the people I spoke to yesterday just thought I was doubley weird because I couldn`t speak to them, why bother if I can`t hold a intelligent conversation, after several years of this I learned even if I awaken mind clear of fog then don`t speak to people because I`ll not be me tomorrow, now Carnivore getting towards 2 years the mind fog has been gone for most of that time and month on month now I can feel my confidence growing in the solid state of mind I now find myself in and conversing with others returning to the natural state in which it should have always been. This is my reason that I`ll eat no other way now, the clarity of mind is more addictive for me than sugar ever was!

I wasn't a vegan but loved vegetables and I believed they were good for me. So I'd eat them almost every day. Then I started a carnivore diet because I wanted to lose some weight. I cut down on eating vegetables and ate more meat, eggs and butter. A few months into this kind of eating, I felt pain on my right side and later I had pain in my bladder. It was kidney stones. Oxalate dumping. So I stopped eating veges altogether. But, I began to miss the vegetables and I thought some salad wouldn't be bad. I was wrong. I suffered from bloating and muscle aches for a few days. Now I'm fixing my body by starting back the carnivore diet.

I went straight to 100% carnivore and for the first 6 weeks i felt amazing but the last 2 weeks I've felt like I've been hit with a freight train and I've realized i should've eased into this diet rather than going all in because I've discovered after listening to Sally Norton that im suffering from oxalate poisoning/dumping and i nearly ended up in hospital until i seen her videos on how to manage this/these symptoms, i haven't really heard dr berry or Kerry talk about this as i feel this needs to be discussed because i have almost give up its been nearly 2 weeks of hell with this oxalate dumping but thankfully it's getting better now and im still doing the diet, drinking black tea really helped when i felt worst hope this helps someone not to go straight carnivore or just to be aware that this might happen even after years on this diet, thank you Kerry you and dr berry have helped me so far put my type 2 into remission my a1c is 4.6 and im of all my diabetic meds

Hamburgers out I am still tempted by buns FF and katshup. I have a lot of stress. Working on planning meals having what foods I need daily to avoid lessen a relapse. I hear you too. I have daughter who had gestational diabetes with her last pregnancy which sets her up for diabetes, a daughter who suffers from migraines, and one who does a lazy keto (but she’s stopped drinking alcohol and lost some weight). Their younger brother needs carnivore the most for his brain. I’m all but laughed at! However I think as they see me doing the right thing to improve my health I think they’ll start asking questions. I’m 75, had a mild stroke 2 years ago, was still healing from that, then someone ran into my car (with me in it!) earlier this year. So I’m moving from keto to carnivore via ketovore. I eat mostly meat, eggs, butter. Sticking with it!

Every stage i have felt and self sabotaged because each stage has pit falls, and depending on your life, it's too easy to go backwards than forwards. Shows something so simple isn't necessarily that easy. But we learn and ee get back up and persist because there is no other better way and it does work. Sugar addiction is connected to many other aspects, not just eating it but creating and baking and sharing and hosting and celebrating with it. Others enjoy it, promote it, and continue to ask for it. So it's a constant conscious way of living. It's true that we need to slowly change those brain pathways and push those other habits out with carnivore options. But each time i fall, the brain fatigue and fog is another wall that needs to be pushed thru. Set backs are only setbacks.

A major problem i see for people is stress eating. Many of us have been raised to eat under dress, usually junk food for comfort.
I stop myself in "those feelings" and look for other ways to curb stress and tension. Sit quietly outside, read a book, sit in a hot bath, etc. I think it's crucial we look for other avenues to deal with stress while we are detoxing.

I've been on and off it for 5 weeks. I get 5 days in and feel violently sick, nauseous and worryingly exhausted, then I eat some crap come alive and feel like junk the next day. Its almost like I'm dreading eating fat and protein because I know what's coming. I really need to ride out the suffering. Wish me luck. I'm going to really give it a good go from today

You brought up a good point because I too thought this myself but I hear it so much from others about not connecting that the diet has a lot to do with their issues especially mental health, so I hear things like, AFTER I get rid of my anxiety, I'll be able to work on lowering my sugar, when both those things require diet change. It's amazing how our mind body and spirit do affect one another and we should be taking care of all parts for good health harmony, but everybody has to find that out on their own and hopefully will, otherwise you go on a never ending cycle right? How many of us have said that we wish we knew about this or that years ago! 😊

This takes time, allow your body to heal itself and rest, the amount of toxicity and inflammation and recurring stress that's been going on your whole life will take time to release. That being said, I have found that I can have only 100% grass-fed meat. My body cannot deal with any grain fed. From all of my research I think the body needs to heal everything with saturated fats and it takes a long time to heal. All of those toxins and unsaturated fatty acids are in every cell and need to be cleaned out and rebuilt. I'm on 1 year and 1 month and still experiencing some things I didn't expect like afternoon fatigue. It had gone away during the early highs. So I nap. I'm trying to look at it like I really don't even know what my body's natural baseline levels are because I was never really naturally healthy before, it was all just coping and going from one trigger to the next.

My only exercises are short walks, weekly yoga and occasionally playing in the ocean. I have lost 5 pounds in the last couple of weeks, so hopefully I'm on the right path.

I’ve been on carnivore 10 days today. I’m beyond disheartened. I’ve gained just over a pound. I promised my wheelchair bound friend I would help him today and now the time has come for me to help him and I can’t function. I can’t get up without shaking and muscle tightness so debilitating in my legs and back that I can’t stand for more than 5-10 minutes. I decided to cheat today and had half a potato. I’m praying my muscles will finally have enough fuel to allow me to help my friend. This is my third attempt and like the other times before, its THE SAME problem day after day with my muscles and heavy heart beat keeping me unable to walk or function. I can’t buy any products. I can barely afford the meat. I’ve never had so much difficulty losing weight as I have this time. Gaining weight is just more than I can take on top of being bed ridden from zero energy. I don’t have near the side effects I had the last two times so that’s a huge improvement but this muscle tightness and back spasms are keeping me completely immobile.

It's the cramp that gets me to stop. I can have my whole leg cramp up!! I drink 3-4 litres water, lots of salt, electrolyte powder. I used ChatGPT and asked about joint pain (which comes back EVERY time I go back to 'normal' diet) and it basicly suggested strict keto or carnivore as I'm having issues with standard diet!!! It suggested my Electrolytes could be unbalanced. HOW can I check that???? It recommended LMNT but it's expensive in UK as it's from USA.

You can look at it as a challenge within a challenge.
Cut only one of them back slowly over a month period. Then the other.
I still do coffee with heavy cream, artificial sweetener. My goal is to eliminate it.
I used to drink 2 to 3 Monster energy drinks a day. I used coffee/cream/sweetener as a "healthier" alternative to kick that addiction.
I am currently adding in Bubly drinks, which is just carbonated water, naturally essenced. I will use that curb off the coffee. After that, onto pure water only.
This system slowly and gradually, seems to work for me

If we should only eat meat how did our ancestors survive before they were able to make tools or create fire? As humans we are unable to kill or butcher an animal with our bare hands and the bacteria in raw meat makes it dangerous to consume .Surely Homo Sapiens ate easy to find and digest plant foods when gathering and foraging were the only way to find a meal.
