Season 2 of Dark Side of the Ring explored "The Life and Crimes of New Jack" and in this episode, we share the late New Jack's unaired commentary on confronting racist fans, turning down the WWF, and bounty hunting with D'Lo Brown.
Season 5 of Dark Side of the Ring premieres March 5 at 10pm ET on VICETV.

Vic permanently damaged New Jack, never bothered to see him then mocked him like he meant to damn near kill New Jack, I am honestly with Jack on that just like the Chris Benoit, the mass transit, and Paul Heyman issues.

I met new Jack as a kid with my dad outside an ecw show in Webster mass. He was really nice. The guy who isn’t familiar with his matches and claims he is the devils eyes clearly isn’t familiar enough with Jack to speak on him like that. New Jack was an all time great wrestler who will never be replicated but often is duplicated.

This is great! Cornette was a mastermind who just tried to resurrect the territories and was very successful in Smokey Mountain and Ohio Valley Wrestling. He developed so many wrestlers for WWF, WCW, and ECW.

This is absolutely wonderful keep them coming.. I saw nujak five times an e c w when they came through buffaloat the bert flickinger arena... The first time he was the main event against mustafa and a gangstas paradise match.... The second time I saw new Jack was absolutely hilarious at my second show. He was in a Ford Explorer with rob Feinstein and his crew. And he rolled down the windowby the line of us waiting to get in. I started screaming." HEEEEEELP...I BEEEN KIDNAPPED BY WHIIIIITE PEEEEPOOOOLE!!!!!!".. And of course everyone in the whole wine started laughing and chanting new jack..

This is by far the best podcast about wrestling. It is not a corny mark podcast filled with annoying laughter and bad jokes buts it’s also not just a rundown of events with just basic comments about the match.
Really just a perfect podcast.
Just found out about season 5. I love this series
New Jack didn’t create the 4 justifiable homicides story, it was a fellow wrestler talking up Jack to a mark that wanted to jump on him, Jack ran with it after that.
NJ was a lot more intelligent than many gave him credit. He knew exactly what he was doing ... no hypocrisy... no Benoit 'hero in public demon at home'.. no Dynamite self destruction..

Podcast is fantastic idea but admittedly came away disappointed. Wished we could've heard a lot more from New Jack. Y'all's observations and experiences are definitely interesting & add to the episode but for a podcast about airing unused audio its frustrating how little time is spent playing it & how much time is spent on a guy whose perspective is simply "watched the episode" repeatedly call Jack a psycho, a nut, and say he's glad he never met him.

New Jack wasn't looking to hurt people while wrestling or otherwise IMO. But, if he felt you wronged him, he didn't seem to have that red light that would tell him to stop from taking revenge even at the cost of hurting himself potentially.
IOW, I would feel safe just hanging out with New Jack(course I wouldn't do anything illegal with him), but I wouldn't want to cross him or make him think I did...but in a different way than I wouldn't want to cross Haku.

New Jack was unparalleled in ECW. Easily on par with Randy Savage when it came to selling to the crowd. Jack was da Man.

It's not fair to call fans racist as these same Smokey Mountain fans cheered all races but they didn't cheer heels obviously. New Jack said very harsh things to get the fans to say whatever they could to verbally hurt him back. Seems like the receipts they did hurt him a lot worse than his initial attack to them.

How did both these guys make Dark Side without much wrestling prior knowledge? They both said they barely heard of New Jack before. ECW was on cable just like Raw and Nitro y'all.
I have trouble trusting their opinions as casual marks. I want basement dwelling virgin marks who know EVERYTHING. These guys probably got laid lots and it kept them from watching ECW on friday nights
