I like His comment that he wasn’t concerned about Demolition being a ripoff but enjoyed that there was just another tag team to like. That’s kind of how I felt about all the 90’s Ninja Turtle Cartoon Ripoffs like Battle Toads, Biker Mice from Mars, Cowboys of Moo Mesa, and the rest!

You cant copy LOD...no matter how much face paint and roids you have. There are just certain wrestlers that are A-listers. Hawk and Animal "had it" whatever "it" is...

    Grandma B'S should be reopened!
They would get tons of business just based upon the stories we now get to hear!
Unfortunately, the bouncers would look like The Young Bucks and would be injecting sparkles rather than Test, Deca, and Nandralone.

I'll always remember LOD's promo on Herc and Roma when Hawk said.. Power and Glory, Power and Glory.. when we're done with you, you're going to be sour and gory, sour and gory...

Im born in Robbinsdale raised in Minneapolis as well. I was a kid in the 80s and my grandmas house was across the alley from Roods Pub(Rick Rudes dads bar), not far from Gramma B's. Rick Rude almost kicked my uncle's ass for being a prankster and had him running for his life LOL. My dad and uncle went to school with Curt Henning and Wayne Bloom.

Incredible, what a coincidence to have that much talent all around the same time. It's crazy when you think about it. I don't think it will ever happen again.

It still blows my mind that so many Future Professional Wrestlers were growing up and living around that Metropolitan Area growing up in The heart of The AWA. Everyon from Nikita Koloff to Scott Flash Norton.

If you think the Roadies were reckless, you never saw the Steiners in the 80's (or Rick from 1999 onwards when he would annihilate everybody, prime examples being Lash LeRoux, Konnan and Van Hammer)
