Including the lick from Tina’s version was sheer brilliance. I firmly believe John did Tina very proud.
John has sung a song for everyone, a beautiful tribute to our late Queen Tina. J. C. Fogerty, damn your good! NO! J. C. Fogerty, you are the BEST, love ya' man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no one has got the right to be that good.
John Fogerty is an inspiration for generations to come, Keep on Chooglin... LEGEND!! 🤘
Before the gig I thought it would be good, I was wrong! It was fantastic, so glad I made the trip down from Newcastle
I was there with my family & it was amazing! 🤩
Thanks to these giants that are still with us!!!!!!
LEGEND FOGERTY!!!!!
Rockin All Over The World was not a Creedence Clearwater Revival song. It was off John Fogerty's second solo album released in 1975. Quo then covered it in 1977.
Yes, sorry, you’re right, I’ll correct it.
Oh Boy do i like it! QUO rules
Dude, Fogerty wrote this song
There are hundreds of reasons why STATUS QUO were/are the best and greatest Rock Band in the Universe' history and this is just one of them.
As chance has it Rick Parfitt was in his car when Fogerty's version came on the radio.
Rick said "Ooooh, I think we could do something with that"
His QUO Bandmates were initially reluctant, though after some coaxing from Rick, the boys gave in.
Note in the video that Alan Lancaster is played by a man size puppet, due to him refusing to fly from Australia where he lived.
It's not QUO's biggest hit, though it is one of their biggest and most popular.
On the 13th July 1985, the crowd at LIVE AID went absolutely berzerk when QUO walked out onto the stage, then they went up several levels when they opened the legendary event with "Rockin' All Over The World"
It is one of only a few QUO songs that Rick plays Lead Guitar.
It's a great song and QUO give it a lot of energy.
RIP - Rick and Alan

Not Status Quo. John wrote this song❤
He put the sax in the song, like Tina used to do.
