The only thing that can confuse people is that this is a European version. The E320 CDI was sent to the USA in 2005 and 2006.
Well, I am in Europe, so there’s nothing confusing here. The W211 were launched in January 2002 here in Europe, in almost all engine versions.
@@carscloseup Perhaps your audience is in America. By the way, I have an E320 2005 & E320 2006 CDI and a 2011 E350 Bluetec. I love Mercedes diesel.

220 is just the engine displacement, has nothing to do with the exterior of the car FYI. Although it gets confusing later on as the 280 CDI and 320 CDI on later models are same displacement despite different names.
