- In this video I explore if Blender is better that real filmmaking. I create two ads and see which one is better! I spent a lot of time on this so enjoy, like, subscribe or do whatever you want, it's your choice.
Here is an awesome channel for learning Blender if you are interested / @blenderguruofficial
If you want to learn more about product videos, here is an awesome channel about that! / @danielschiffer
If you have any questions, I will respond to any and all of them in the comments.
CGI vs. Film.
-Danial Schiffer, Blender 3d, Blender guru, CG boost, Parker Walbeck, Polyfjord, Corridor Crew, VFX artists react to great and bad cgi, Peter France, Ian Hubert, and Peter McKinnon all make awesome content if you want to watch some other creators!
If you want to vote to see which ad was better, go and vote at the pole in this channel’s community section.
If you did something with the beginning Animation‘s butt opening the can practical and pouring into the ice practical, but still mixture of a little bit of CGI. This would be amazing but the poring looked really weird and my brain just tells me that it’s not real and same thing when you open the can in CGI
I think you're right. Maybe if I had spent more time of the CG, or if it had been tackled by someone with more experience than me it would have turned out better. Any time filmmaking is being used in a professional setting, there should be a combination of both CG and practical filmmaking, not just one or the other.
Good work bro❤
Thanks!
Making Ads better with flimmaker for commercial purpose. Make Ads with CGI meant for entertainment media animation over commercial sell item physically, not like disc released
Well I think a trademark company is apple. In almost all of their hero shots for their phones and other products, those are CGI renders. But I think you have a point. CGI is used more heavily in shows and movies than commercials.
Great work !
Thank you!
Can you share coke file? Or make a video how to make it, i wanna learn bout blender
I will probably make a video about that at some point in the future, and I can release the file in the next couple of weeks. but for now, there are some great channels listed in the description if you want to learn blender or filmmaking. Hope you find them helpful.
Nice work 🎉
Thank you!
i have modeled a cock tin in maya, could you please teach texturing and animation in detail (in blender) ?
I just uploaded a texture tutorial last week!
the cgi is way better honestly, even if you see that it isnt reality
I agree with you there. Thanks for the feedback
SLAY KING
YASSSSS 💅
given budget i can make the practical filmmaking better. realistically better to mix tho
I would agree with that.
cgi ad seemed janky. imo if the lighting and background were better then real would be better. Also it took you 5 hours to film that!
Yeah, It's certainly true that the CG could still use some work. Also, the five hours included all the editing time and set up as well
Your CGI is not so perfect bro. There are some camera cuts that I can see. It is good though. But with some polishing you can make it 50 times better atleast
I would have to agree with you. This is some of my older work, so I would hope that the content that I produce now would yield better results. As with any project, the allocation of time is important. While with a showreel for clients it would be wise to lavish it with time, a short UA-cam video should not garner nearly as much effort. I appreciate your constructive criticism, and hope that you are enjoying the videos I make! Thanks!
