@@alexanderdiessars4338 just to throw my own 2 cents - 100% go with Blender. Blender is also close enough to industry standard softwares that the transition won't be like starting a new software if you ever were to go professional (although more and more studios are seeing the power of Blender!). The other great part about Blender being free is there is a huge amount of good tutorials on UA-cam, which simply cannot be said for any other 3D software in my opinion. Not sure which part of 3D you're interested in but it can do everything from modelling to animation, and VFX to simulations, even visualising complex math if you know what you're doing!

9:09 from Gaston Andres Appendino was especially sick, but they were all amazing. Much love to pwnisher and everyone who participated, you have made something really cool.

Cool tips since a lot of these are quick like 2:15. You can pause and use the '" , " and " . " to move frame by frame and see a whole new layer of detail
I love ones like these 4:27 that don't seem too straight on, adds a lot for me. Similarly with ones like 3:57 where the character themselves feels like they are moving through the world.
3:57 is my favourite. Because it tells an original story, while also taking advantage of the movements in a situation that makes sense, just in seconds. IMO this is by far the most unique one.
I love these artists incredible attention to even the tiniest details like the trash on the ground, wind blowing, and faliing leaves. This is gorgeous work!
I COULDN'T AGREE MORE, that one totally kept in my mind. I was hoping someone commented it because I was too lazy to search for it. The change in perspective, the story behind it, the details, it just hits you different.

I think the most impressive ones though are the ones with the most range of movement that are still very fluid, such as 7:09. (And the magic/technology ones, such as several after 4:03, and 5:27, and 9:03, and the ones at 5:45, 5:33, and 6:33! Gotta love those too for coolness factor alone!) Also... 5:21 *Sifu reference!* and even 5:09 _Abraham Lincoln: Vampire slayer reference!?_ These are all so incredibly good! MAD respect!
It seems like most of participants were not even aiming to win the challenge rather just exploring and enjoying the art. Which in my opinion is more than win. 10:53 minutes of most unique montage i have ever seen.

the water physics are so good on that one. the displacement of the water and then the surge of water returning was seemingly flawless
the live action avatar movie could've been this sick, we could've had a feature length film of that quality 😞
3:21 is my favourite. The peace and tradition hiding inside the chaos of both an industrialized and natural world, it's very cool.
2:15 gotta be the best for me. Straight up a scene from an artsy film, man.
7:27 is my favorite for sure, the lining up with the music to an instant zen state. The artist even had to create 2 scenes!
Posting a year later just to say: Completely agreed. Was blown away by the swap
Agreed
6:50 So grateful to have my 3rd Top 100 submission! It's so cool to see my render included amongst so many seriously talented artists! Props to Clint for running these challenges and great work all round by everyone who entered. Bring on the all submissions video!
Congratulations! My work didn't accepted at this time, and this is so sad for me ;(
Congrats I was going to submit a render but didn’t get time to make anything because of exams
@@_ghost_mjjn_ Don't worry, I know the feeling, my work didn't make it last time either but it's still fun to participate :)
Is your the underwear guy? Reminded me so much of the Naked Cowboy that sings in Times Square, NY.
2:15 It makes me happy for a moment when I try to see the whole story in detail and I am glad that someone managed to develop the task so much with the help of a brilliant idea. My №1.Thank you Anna.
Yes, my personal Number 1 as well. Don't know why this wasn't in the top 3...
@@openingband just watch the previous video, they scrolled the animation frame by frame)
My number one too. The amount of works put into every single frame is insane. She had to pose and light every frame differently yet all of them look phenomenal!
@@schebbi IKR I WAS SO MAD
does anyone know where can i find more of his/her work?
07:09 thanks again clint, never thought i would make it to the top 100 after looking at so many good looking submissions.
If you didn't make it to the top100 don't stress it, let's get it next time and i hope you've learnt something valuable from this challenge.
yours is crazy good lmao
Fantastic environment!
The lighting in yours is absolutely stunning. Congrats man.
😎💪
Congrats!
Cool tips since a lot of these are quick like 2:15. You can pause and use the '" , " and " . " to move frame by frame and see a whole new layer of detail
brilliant thanks for the tip !
You could probably also watch it on a slower speed as well
Wow, after a decade of using UA-cam I'm just now learning this.. Thank you.
How ??
There’s nothing like that on mobile, might be best to specify.
8:09 and 9:03 have to be my favourites, the stylisation of the first and the moment of impact in the second are amazing!
Congrats to everyone who made the top100, but my favorite must be the one at 4:03 by Dmitriy Koveshnikov
3:57 for me...that's some worldbuilding right there
I COULDN'T AGREE MORE, that one totally kept in my mind. I was hoping someone commented it because I was too lazy to search for it. The change in perspective, the story behind it, the details, it just hits you different.
@Andy Loco yeah same! Totally would love a book or show in this sort of vibe
@@DanielLopez-ob9jz Loooooooocation
@Art Deco city Architecture
Should've said setting, but I got my message across, so I don't really care.
@@DanielLopez-ob9jz you should care, caring is caring. Vibe is just the vomit word now, everyone puts it over half their vocabulary because this is what texting has brought language too.
8:21 It's a mega honor to be featured in the TOP 100 ! This really put a smile on my face knowing that my cool light & silhouette experiment was worthy of the top list. Congrats to all other featured artists !
Super unique! One of my favs

THIS IS WHAT THE INTERNET WAS MADE FOR!!!
I am so overjoyed at watching these incredible collaborative masterpieces. Each has been a revelation! My congratulations to all participants.
Thank you for doing this and making the internet a better place, pwnisher!
I had so much fun doing this challenge, I didn't hope to get close to top 100, but I was so proud of the work I made, this was a first for me and I can't wait for the next challenge
*EVERYBODY WAS KUNG FU FIGHTING*
can u post how yours look like?
@@muhammadcipta979 it's on my page, but nothing fancy compared to what you'll see in the top 100, I'm a complete newbie in 3D
@@DrTatos coming from a non 3D experience ordinary dude, ur workpiece is amazing even for a newbie 😂 i guess that just shows how hard it is to be top 100 but it was nice still try aiming for a top 100 next time

🤯ITS FINALLY HERE🤯
I think the most impressive ones though are the ones with the most range of movement that are still very fluid, such as 7:09.
Also SUPERHOT at 8:56
3:09 Was one of my favorites, it looks so pretty, amazing job Lukas Wenzhoefer!
It seems like most of participants were not even aiming to win the challenge rather just exploring and enjoying the art. Which in my opinion is more than win.
10:53 minutes of most unique montage i have ever seen.
I love the semi-animated style of 9:51 so much!! Would watch/play much more of this style.
0:40 TMNT

Man, feverkin really tied these animations together with this song. The mix is totally insane and brings you through this animated journey seamlessly. Amazing work
All of these are absolutely outstanding! Especially liked the pallette of 4:21, so cool.
4:21 and 5:27 are my favourites, so clean
😍thank you so much
thank you! glad you enjoyed it!
junho's was awesome, i like it too
1:27 Love how the light bulbs synchronize with the music
Yeah that was just random chance but it blew my mind too
for the love of god, keep doing this series. The amount of universes and narratives that the animators create are mind blowing.
6:21 my favourit cause look at that background is sick and i also love that grainy effect added
05:27 Thank you for picking me, although I'm lacking a lot. :).. and respect to all over 3500 artists.
Let's move the universe together! 🪐🪐🪐
Awesome work!

@@Inkxo3D 😂😂😂
I cannot begin to express how impressive this all is. This is the reason it's a TOP 100 and not a TOP 10. Amazing
7:15 - loved this one so much. I felt the vibe. Great work!)
4:21 one of my favorites
8:09 very artistic
glad you liked it 😎
Me favorites were
3:59 & 4:17 looked so dope/powerful as Africans.
5:12 Abraham Lincoln vampire hunter was so cool as hell.
5:22 sifu looked so cool aging.
5:29 felt so powerful controlling those planets and the music rhymed so well.
🥰
2:09 the bojack horseman was so creative, love the drink touch lol
4:51 Thanks again for picking me for 100, this was my second try. Will come back for the next one for sure. And congrats to everyone on top100, so much good stuff here. Looking forward to seeing the big one with everyone, there are for sure going to be tons of great ones there to:)
Congrats on making this edit! And thanks for giving it your all
Great render🤩🤩
I loved yours
yours is amazing
So i think I watched this 100 times already. There's just too many details that are worth rewatching, kudos to all these talented creators and thanks for hosting this CG art event Clint!
1:09 omg Eric Schirmer’s is soooo good! There’s so many details that I had to rewind just to fully appreciate it all. Like the way the girl is in peasant clothes at first and then after the eclipse her clothes are nicer and she has the gold bracelets! My favorite part by far is tied between the accuracy of the Mayan calendar or the lighting and how it hits the coins to make them shine
5:28 Unique🪐 1:09 2:46 So Cool 👌5:22 Music On Point 🔥 1:16 Nice 😂 2:34 Pink 🩷 4:22 Lovely Dark 🖤 6:04 6:34 Smooth 👍 7:22 Clean 👏 8:46 Wow 😯
Everyone’s works was just Awesome and Amazing, Congratulations Guys 🎉
Absolutely stunning work! Everyone's contributions were breathtaking. I've been working in the CG world for nearly 20 years. I am continuously and completely blown away by the talent, dedication and most importantly and often overlooked, HARD WORK that people put in to make art. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to not only come up with creative ideas, but deliver on them. Thank you for sharing your efforts with all of us! We are better off for it.
I don't understand why I always almost want to cry when I see something too beautiful like this.
I don't know what 9:57 did to achieve that look but it's the most photo realistic of them all! Lens effects to introduce light bloom maybe?
Exactly!!!
Do they have a portfolio or something? One of the best 3d shots I've seen and the name doesn't bring up anything.
Yes, its my favorite, the most photo realistic of them all, its like getting candy to your eye!
My guess is lighting and film grain
4:45 hits different 🤯❤🔥
Beautiful display of artistry by these amazing artists. This was very inspiring to watch.
4:08 is probably my favorite, something very dramatic about the character standing above dead enemies
Yeah, Id love a full story of that one! It's giving off Magic The Gathering vibes!
@@lkeke35 i know right!
7:33 soo glad to be in the montage, thankyou Clint and all the moderators that making this challenge possible! and congrats to all top 100 (and ofc to all the participant) i

Hi, was the Borderlands game franchise the one what inspired you? So many vibes tho
@@askhat5043 yes, Borderlands are my favorite game ever, the artstyle, characters, environtment everything is highly inspired by Borderlands, but in this one i also include Rage's too
4:45 this concept is so EPIC! It is my personal favourite now :-)
It's amazing to see everyones work together! 7:39 is a personal favourite of mine. Thanks Clint for the opportunity, I've learnt so much taking part in this challenge and am looking forward to the next one
This series of videos is one of the most beautiful and touching things that has ever come out of the internet.
Thank you.
I love how on every video you get so many different opinions on what is the best animation, shows how every artist puts a lot of effort into their work
03:56 Is just amazing... Love the point of view, with the movement forward and the reveal behind. And the aesthetic overall is so goooooood
I would love to see a challenge of a first-person-view render of a individual running through many renders by traveling through doors. Like a multiverse themed complilation. The individual could look at their new self/hands and surroundings in each render Pwnisher could start and finish the chain with someone who just completed the crazy journey.
Oh that would be fun, an excuse to practice hands and play around with what they could walk into
So like Doors by Hyun's Dojo, but in first person?
@@SwarumtheForum I didn't know about hyun's dojo, but yea similar. The 3D renders would just be great for this.
@@SwarumtheForum doors 5 is insane,i am glad they make the game about it
Yeeees, please let this be the next render challenge
9:42 didn't realize this was a mirror until watching full screen. I love this submission
OMFG mind blown
I totally missed that. It's incredible. Thank you for pointing it out.
I don't understand what you mean by mirror, can someone pls explain
@@youtubepoop8400 What you're seeing is the point of view of the woman looking at herself in a mirror. At first it looks like two punching bags hanging on the right, but actually it's one punching bag getting knocked forward and hitting the mirror.

The amount of creativity all this people have is insane
In any of this competitions there is a single animation that is bad. Most are from great to masterpieces
2:02 I love the art style of this!!!
super proud of everybody! Some of the best art I have ever seen! This is the third one I've competed in now, and I think I am improving a lot with each submission! :D
