I can agree on the messaging, especially in regards to the AC games as opposed to the Arkham games. It takes a special game to hook me enough to *WANT* to do all that extra bs. I have thousands of PSN trophies, but only around 30 platinum trophies, because there's only been just so many games that make me wanna do everything before I move on.
I have come to peace with the fact I will never get 100% scan completion in any Metroid prime game, and that's my choice

I’m not a completionist in any way, but I can’t tell you how defeated I feel when I don’t get every single collectible when it tells you about them.
