I like the zip lock bag trick for the filter disposal from the filter housing. It is funny how ford, jeep, and all american car companies intermix american and metric sizes on their bolts. Over the years I have found daily need of both types. Thanks for the go-by demo.
How do you find the Mobil 1 full Synthetic oil ? I just picked up some on sale for my 2012 Wrangler but reading online that it doesn’t meet Chrysler spec’s for the V6 engine and that I shouldn’t use it.
Al Abbat I do 3000 mile oil changes there are many different opinions on this subject ultimately it’s your engine do what ever you feel is best I’m sure the manufacturer has a recommendation I’m not sure what that is. Thanks for watching.
Hmmm, Any ideas what they will charge to dispose of old oil? I need to add that into the cost. Depending on that cost, it might be just as cheap to let a shop change the oil. I've got $28.00 just in oil (6 quarts) and filter. Another $8.00 and a local shop will change oil (synthetic blend) and rotate tires.
Enzo Amore The oil Fill cap on my Jeep clearly states 5w 30. If all else fails they usually put it on the fill cap. This video speaks for my 2012 wrangler not sure what mopar motor or vehicle you are speaking of. Best of luck!

You could go longer if you’re using full synthetic oil like 4,500-5,000 miles
Next do the transfer case fluid change
where do i dispose of the old oil? just curious
MsLeelee94 Great question! I would suggest taking it to autozone to be disposed of! Thanks for watching!
Thank you!
Usually any auto parts store, or shop will dispence of used oil for you.

The major auto stores (Auto Zone and Advance Auto Parts) will take it for free.
My 2012 only takes 5 quarts and the manual confirms it. 🤷🏻♂️
Doesn't Mopar suggest 5w20 oil?
