    I recently bought a much cheaper system which i was happy about, but before using it I decided to trash it and get this pump kit from your Amazon page. The one I got was from Harbor Freight and is designed to use a compressed air tank to create a vacuum at the brakes and suck the fluid out instead of it being pushed like this video shows. It worried me that the negative pressure may collapse the brake lines, and there didn't seem to be a way to regulate how fast the fluid would flow. I was too nervous to even risk it. Money wasted. Not the first time, unfortunately won't be the last.
    Thanks again for another awesome video showing us how to take care of our Jeeps!! AutoEdits wins again!

      @@AutoEdits Picked up the one out of your Amazon store. And my 2017 JKUR, with factory fluid, is showing 2.0. I tested several times, and once it read a bit higher, but 2.0 seemed to be the average.

    I’ve been using the motive bleeder for 5+ years now. It’s used on all my family vehicles. I remember your wife helped hold the brake pedal in your last brake fluid video. Hope she is doing well.

    I use the power bleeder the same way you do because of the slight mess and the wasted fluid left in the bottom. I feel once the fluid leaves the original container, it doesn’t go back!

    Your jeep has ABS correct? Do you not have to anything special to flush the ABS system when you flush your brakes?

    • @AutoEdits
      @AutoEdits  6 днів тому

      You only need to activate the ABS pump if you get air bubbles in there. Otherwise the system bleeds like normal.

    it was throwing me off a bit seeing you use the motive bleeder that way. I mean you could just discard any left over "new fluid" in the Motive at a recycle center and save the hassle of constantly topping off the brake reservoir, its cheap enough to not have to worry about a little extra left over... To each his own 🤷‍♂

    • @AutoEdits
      @AutoEdits  Місяць тому +1

      It's not just the leftover fluid in the tank but the inevitable overflow at the reservoir. If I were a service tech and did this all the time... sure, fill that thing to save time. But taking literally 4 extra minutes for the whole flush isn't really a big deal to me in my garage 👍
