Funny you say that. My current hairstylist doesn’t have curls - in fact, she has a short straight bob - and has done wonders for my very curly hair over the last seven years. She’s super knowledgeable and has been cutting curls for 30 years. Like so many things, I think it really depends on the person.
In about 30 years, I literally have never left the salon after getting my curly hair done and been happy with the results 😢 I know my hair would look as good as yours if I had a REAL CURL SPECIALIST like you!! ❤
Yep! I even took my Bounce brush in for the stylist to show her as she'd likely not seen it. She was excited to see it, but did she use it? Nope. "How 'bout a round brush blowout today?" 😶 I tired of advocating for myself every time I'm in the salon.
This is such an important video. how many of us have left the salon wishing we spoke up more or were more direct with our stylist. you could tell you were being nice when she was finger rolling and putting on the gel. it happens to to the best of us and is a good lesson for all of us. thank you for posting this. I actually find it really sweet that you were so respectful of the stylist and gave her the benefit of the doubt that she knew what she was doing, even though you are a stylist yourself and know EXACTLY what you’re doing, especially for your own hair 😊 Your curls always look AMAZING! 😍 they came out so perfect after the restyle! 😁🥰
Gurl! At least what happened to me didn’t happen to you! A few years ago- I don’t know which Olaplex product she used- but I was 1 in 6 billion that this ever happened to- it cross bound my hairs! I literally had a brick of melted hair on one side of my head. I had to go to a hair restoration place in Texas- I live in Wyoming. It was something. I’m so glad yours was renewed. They said if it would have been half an inch closer to my scalp… I would have had to have surgery…. Whaaaat? But praise God! I did have bra strap length locks and the creative stylist cut it in an asymmetrical style. Have a most amazing day! Be so blessed💕
That's so freaking scary. Even if it's a freak reaction, the fact that it could have messed up your scalp that much that you needed surgery makes me not want to touch it.
@traceychiang909 those bond repair products can cause protein overload, I assume it like. lowkey melted the hair together? only use those products when you NEED them.
I have never left a salon super happy with styling. I always have to restyle. 1 time I thought I found someone. Hair looked great when I left. Never happened again, even when I tried to train him how to style my curls.
Same! It's really frustrating that most stylists insist on styling your hair themselves, even though you know it isn't going to turn out good. My previous stylist was like "I could NEVER let you walk out of my salon with damp hair" and proceeded to waste my time doing a horrible style I had to redo as soon as I got home.
@@ManesByMell totally I would have staff to wash and detangle your hair, then the customer self-styles and then the staff diffuses your hair lol that would be my dream experience because it outsources all the parts of the process I don't like doing.
All the stylist that I’ve been to so far, think their way of styling is the best. I never like it after I’m done and have to restyle to get it to look the way I like it. We know how to do our own hair better than anyone else out there, I think you should do it yourself at home for sure!❤
You’re licensed, so I’d say try it a second time in 2 months yourself, the way you would do style your hair. Also try it on someone else, how about someone with multiple curl patterns and a little damage? I’m always on the lookout for multiple curl pattern videos because I’m literally straight underneath by day 2, and I have 2bc3a all over the rest of my hair (which also falls a bit on day 2+). Idk if it’s damage from my clothing, but it never used to do that and my curls are 100% hormonal and I’m aging towards the lady change! I’m so glad to know Olaplex is coming out with curly products and they didn’t rush. Which products are silicone free in the line?
I was SO PUMPED and then so disappointed in the car hahaha but it’s not that serious. Goes to show anyone can have an experience like that. I’m quite happy with my hair after I restyled it!
With olaplex coming out with so many products would you consider making a video off all their products, how to use them and which ones you really like?
Mell!!! Most definitely wait a while before doing this treatment again! Let your hair rest. But it’s crazy that you went thru this experience when so many of us go thru the same and it’s so sad and you just want to cry at the end ! Spending money for something that turned out bad suckssssss! You handled it like a champ and your comeback was stronger ! Them curls 🔥
LOL i feel for you floridians. Remember to really defend from humidity you have to thoroughly coat each hair root to tip with product for best results. end of video shows my hair after high humidity (with the leave in) -- I'm impressed!!!
I think you are an amazing hair stylist and artist (which I believe a great hair stylist has to be). You have vision. You know what end results you want for yourself or for your client, and you know how to achieve those results. This is (in my humble opinion) a rare quality. This also makes you the best person to give the treatment both to yourself and others. Personally, when I have a bad experience at a salon, or anywhere, I don't go back. If you do go back, you should go back as a stylist showing them what you would do. You have made the very best of your situation. Your hair looks amazing and looks the best when you style it. I think you are better qualified to do it than anyone else. I honestly believe if someone gave you a random product and said it's supposed to do this, you would probably figure out how to make it do that on anyone's head and/or inform them if it the product could never do that on their head. Not everyone has that. That's just my two cents. Also, thank you for all your videos! I love watching them and gaining valuable insight! Thank you 🙂
I did you Pigtail cut, and it came out perfect. Your instructions were so on point. I started the cut behind my ears instead of in front of my ears. I haven't been to a Hair Salon in years because I went to a New York City salon when I was in my 20s and the guy told me I have just a haircut for you. After primping and putting me under some heat lamps he cut an AFRO! Round afro cuts are beautiful but I could have done that myself. Some salons get cut happy .
Your hair looks great after you fixed the styling. I wouldn’t overdo Olaplex, wait to do it again. Thanks for the review on this, the gel looks tempting.
Definitely wait a few weeks Mel! I would not rush back to get it done again so soon! You don’t want to do any further damage! I’m so sorry! That’s so frustrating! ❤
Definitely dont want to put my hair through too much at once. They always say you cant overdo it with olaplex buttttt idk if i agree with that, especially since this treatment also contains peptides. I'm going to wait it out and do it on others. To the beauty supply!!
When you sit in a stylist's chair all of a sudden you become vulnerable and although you can see wjat they're doing isn't "right" or what you asked for, it's really difficult to stop them in their tracks! I find it very uncomfortable. You, as an exoert stylist, knew that her technique would not work and yet did not speak up to her. Imagine how us mere mortals feel 😢
1) I love the vertical/portrait orientation for this video. It's mostly just one subject (when there are two people, it is one person standing behind the other... so essentially one person). If it were you and Amanda, landscape is probably more appropriate. But I really like this. 2) A lot of the responsibility rests with the stylist. She was well into styling before she asked you how you usually style your hair. That should have been a huge part of the discussion during the consultation, as well as asking you about your product use routine. Most people wouldn't use a curl cream on my wavy/curly hair, but I happen to know that I need it. So the first time she met me, my current stylist used a curl cream. Olaplex needs to look at their training process when it comes to styling. I get that there a probably a lot of people going there who have damaged hair, but there are probably also a lot of people with healthy hair who are obsessed with having the healthiest hair possible. 3) Sure, I'd do the Olaplex process if they did it for free for me too. I'm guessing that's not going to happen, and you didn't mention price. 4) I think you should re-do the service to give us a sense of whether this was just the particular stylist or a trend of their people not listening to and learning from clients. Do it in 4 weeks, and use it on other people in the meantime. If they want you to redo it sooner, you're a busy woman, I'm sure it will take at least 2-3 weeks for your schedules to mesh.
Appreciate the honesty! I’ve given up on embracing my natural waves because I couldn’t find anyone who cut and styled it properly. I still dread going to the salon and often leave unhappy. I hate my hair natural AND straightened 😭
Please do a review of shampoo & conditioner bars, like Kitsch. I want to use less plastic but also need to know if they are up to the task of curly hair 🫣 ❤
I'm 3c and let me tell you, I'm loving #5! I can't wait to try the gel, I just purchased it from Ulta. Thanks for this review, you had beautiful results!
I’ve given up with hairdressers, they just haven’t got the knowledge but plenty of confidence🤷🏻♀️, I’m blessed that my hair grows super fast but to leave every time with my hair looking the worst and the cut layered to an inch of its life( I have super fine hair but lots of it with what I call an opposite Mohawk as that has always been my thinnest section) I’m 62, trim my own hair and box brown for my greys🤷🏻♀️😭. It keeps it looking like me but I may be lucky 2-3 times a year having a good hair day Mwa 🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺❤️🧡
Geez, if you can’t communicate due to whatever reasons there is no hope for the rest of us. We are all afraid to say what we really want to for fear of what the hairdresser will respond with.
As an ex hairdresser, the odd thing is you need a license and plenty of experience to start working with people, but they don't teach about curls care in school.
Thanks for sharing your journey, Mell! I am super guilty of not speaking up when in the stylist chair, and then being miserable when I get home. Finger coiling never works for me. It makes my curls go straight. My curls like to be free to curl as they please (or not curl if they’re not in the mood).
I'm so glad you managed to rescue your hair, it's awful leaving a salon unhappy with the result. Definitely buy it yourself and use it on other people so we can see what's SUPPOSED to happen ❤
After years of disappointment of thinking I should leave the salon looking and feeling better than ever, I just leave the salon with wet hair. Winter or summer, I don’t care lol. I just don’t have time to sit there while they take another 30 minutes to try and style my, fine, wavy/curly hair. I’d rather leave with a wet head than feel ugly and angry!!
Hello, I’m hairstylist and I got training on this treatment from Olaplex. You actually are NOT supposed to have color treated hair 2 weeks prior of this treatment or after.
I saw another video about this system last week and I'm dying to try it out. I'm curious to know how it holds up, if you feel like it really DOES give long lasting definition and if it's worth the $$$. I'm sad it's not available for home use though. Like you and others have said, it's frustrating when you go to a stylist and they do not listen to you, or treat your hair like it's "generic" and one size fits all. Can't wait for your follow up about it. ❤❤
Thank you for sharing this Mell. I would love to see you do the treatment yourself and share tips of what you discovered yourself by using the treatment. ❤
You def know how to work with your curls the best way. The gel Gives me some hope for humidity for living in Florida 😅 do you think using the leav in and gel together would be best or can be mixed with another leave in?
Every time I leave a hair salon I have to go home re-wet my hair & restyle . It’s wavy curly , I leave & it’s barely wavy in spots curly in others . Frustrating. But I’m looking forward to trying the new gel
I have the same hair and am using the new gel. I actually have had good results. I also have good results with a thick leave in conditioner or the new Fructis hylaronic filler moisturize gel. My hair loves moisture. If these products work for you then you might like the gel ( it’s like 30-35 dollars so I hope that’s helpful).
This gives me hope that even you being so knowledgeable and have such incredible hair can experience a “curl crime”! I knew you would get your curls back doing it yourself though because you are a Curl Queen. 🥰
Hate vertical videos!!!!! 😢 So sad to have watched you have to go threw this. Even, I knew, you were not going to like it. EVERYONE'S curls are different thus needing different techniques for styling. I think you're your best stylist!!! I know getting pampered is SO nice! Im so sorry. BUT you repaired it BEAUTIFULLY!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING, MELL❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’d trust if you buy it and try it yourself. My curls are more like Amanda’s hair so I’d love to see how her hair looks. Also I think at times when we are in the stylist chair we do not speak up out of respect because they/you are the professional. I’ve learned so much from you and Amanda, please try it yourself. ❤
My hair has never looked great leaving a salon - at best it looks very similar to yours in this video as you were leaving the salon. I've just accepted it as reality. Its frustrating because there is such a narrow pool of salon stylists who know how to deal with curly hair and even then I've only gotten moderately good results. I drive 1 hour each way to see a curly hair stylist and still, I only know if it's a good visit after I get home and rewash and style my hair. But I'm still driving that hour b/c its better than going to someone who, knows I have curly hair, but busts out the dryer with no diffuser and proceeds to fluff and brush my hair while full force drying it.
Happy Texture Thursday!! Every time I go to the salon I leave with it wet and style when I get home. They never style it the way I do or know how lol. Sorry you had to go through that. Great job at editing too!! Much love and happiness!! Xoxo 😘
Oh my Mel!! If you go to a salon with all your curly hair expertise and get intimidated…I’m doomed 😧🤪 I think you should get the products and work your magic ♥️♥️♥️ Have a fab long weekend ☀️🇨🇦☀️🇨🇦☀️
l´m sorry to say as a professional stylist myself but she applied the the treatment wrong! she needs to go back and redo the training recommend before she learned how to do the treatment. but im glad things turned out good for you. you look absolutely beautiful!!!! and I soooo love your curls!!!!
Mel! Amazing results!!! 😍➰ Question! I’ve used olaplex #4 but tbh haven’t noticed much of a change with or without it… what other olaplex product would you recommend? My hair is a brittle and breaks easily specially in the back of my head and I have a little bit of heat damage 😢
Mel sweet Mel, you're gonna be OK. Do it yourself, and you will be fine, don't forget your seeesterrr!!! Don't let that happen to her but now look at you are beautiful and your hair looks amazing so do not let anyone mess with your hair! Whew! ❤
Your inner self must of been screaming inside watching how it was being styled. Try it on Amanda’s first , it will be interesting to see if you think it has made any difference a couple of washes down the line . Keep up the good work and well done with the editing.
Thank you so much for this! I really want to try this out, but I’ll cancel my appt in Ulta as they don’t even offer curly hair cuts, or any curly service I’m afraid I’m gonna be crushed by the results. Hopefully the curly specialist in my town will offer it soon And I hope you can try it with other people and provide us with the results 🎉
Oh...... What a predicament 😱 Definitely test it yourself on everyone 😅👌 we want to see!!. You got skills with refreshing. Your hair looks beautiful at the end 😍. Like the hair in the begining wasnt your hair. Now... It's your hair😎 Thank you, this was very interesting!
How did you like the actual treatment? Did you see a difference the next few times you styled? If so how long did it last? Thinking of adding this treatment to my service menu but not sure if it’s worth it lol
I usually have the stylist straighten my hair. I have learned to do that so I can see the cut better, AND so that I don't leave hating my curls. Stylists never put enough product in my hair, or the right products (and I really adore my hair stylist whom I go to for just cuts x 15 years) I can wear my hair straight (ish)- aka give it different, bigger curls...lol., but my stylist can get my hair straight ------- like that, and it's kind fun to have straight hair one and awhile. The salon uses Aveda products, and not once has she ever used the curly products in my hair.
Sounds like we've all had problems with stylists not doing our hair the way we like! Does anyone have any suggestions for bringing this up in the chair in a non-confrontational way? I'm plenty assertive the rest of the time, but I don't want to insult a professional who's otherwise skilled at their profession. (Currently growing out my hair a bit, so I'll be able to put this off for a few months. 😏)
Suggestion to my own post (thanks to a therapy prompt LOL): talk about this stuff at the *beginning* of the appointment, before anything has been done. Explain your idiosyncrasies - curl patterns (like the 2B over 3A at the back of my head), usual products, and preferred styling routines - and be very specific! Since you've already explained your needs, maybe mid-styling, we could ask, "Since I usually [styling technique], will this give a similar result?" Also: I liked how my last stylist cut my hair, but not how he styled it, and the last few times I left with it still damp "so it would air-dry" - which it did, but I could duck into the ladies' room, add a little water, and correct the loose finger-curling that fought with my pattern.
I live in Japan and in 20+ years (of living outside of Tokyo) I've yet to find a stylist who understands curls. You should see the frizzy mess I leave with! I'm trying to slowly and gently educate my lovely stylist. But I use Olaplex at home so I'm curious to check out these new products.
Definitely wondering if the stylist just messed up your curls and not the treatment. I could tell right before you added the gel how much better your hair looked and knew you'd get a great result. I'm 2C/3A, and my stylist has gorgeous curls like yours (and her hair is red, too, so so gorgeous), but my hair comes out kinda blah every time she styles it. I get much more defined waves and curls when I do it myself the next day (and I always wash and style the next day). She's too gentle, and I'm like, no, you need to *scrunch* it and then pixie diffuse right up to the scalp! None of this gently cupping my hair in the diffuser and moving it in the general direction of my scalp. On that note, I would love to see how your hair does over the next couple of weeks as well as how it does on others' hair. And yes, *cream before gel* is so key for me as a high-porosity-haired person!
It definitely went wrong with the styling. It was definitely a lot of gel on dry damaged hair with no slip or hydration. I think you were on the right track by using the leave in and gel after and definitely your styling. I say buy it yourself and re do it when you can and try on amanda
Way to turn it around! Does anyone know if there is a difference in using a clothing steamer vs facial steamer? I’ve seen ppl on Reddit say they just use a clothing steamer and that’s all I have so that’s what I’ve been using, but I’m thinking a facial one might be better? Less heat so can get closer & leave it in one place longer?
Wahahah, I screamed when I saw her style your hair, but PLEASE, leave the treatment for what it is, The offer was probably and as you confirmed PR/Release. Now that the product is accessible it was more so a fun way to introduce you and I believe 100% that you can do it at the comfort of your own home and have a more easy process.
Love what you did. I need help with my curls! I've been curly for over two months, and I'm getting so frustrated. I live in Jersey and i don't trust anyone with my hair. I have very fine, thin hair, menopausal. Girl i got hair issues. I've also been using tre luxe
My sister is a great hairstylist and can cut my curly hair really well, but even with her, who is the only stylist I trust to touch my curls, I still style and diffuse it myself!
Im confused how she couldnt tell it didnt look as good as when you came in😮 ive never seen your hair look like that, im shocked you were able to revive it so well!
Just a point of clarification: you said, more than once I believe, that the treatment is supposed to last "up to 15 washes." Then you said, more than once I believe, that that would be about 15 washes...or two weeks (or some such-- not sure if it was 2-3 weeks or what). But "up to 15 washes means NO MORE THAN 15 washes. That is, could be 15, could be 10, could be zero, technically. It's a waffle phrase brands use because they know we'll take to mean "approximately 15' when 15 is the UPPER limit, and they are giving us NO lower limit.
Hi lovely!!! Congrats!! I just reached my one year anniversary since cutting my hair short. If youre looking to grow it out long, be super gentle and low maintenance with the styles so you dont over work the hair, this will help prevent mechanical damage and split ends so it can grow long and strong. Dont overdo it on treatments that your hair doesn't need! Protein treatments are only recommended for damaged hair. Keep it simple, keep your scalp healthy and oil your ends to maintain length!
Hi there I discovered your channel quite recently and it is such a blast but also a life/hair saver! Though here's the thing, I live in Europe and the products you use are way more expensive because of shipment. I've been in Europe for 5 years now and I really can't stick to a product! Whenever I find a good one that works with my hair it's taken down... It would be extremely helpful if you could perhaps give some recommendations for EU products pretty please 🙈
Hey Mell! Recently I had gotten a hair cut/trim. I have always said that I have Shirley Temple curls (3a-b). I communicated my styling techniques and everything to my girl, and when she was done my hair was very flat and wavy. Grant it she did a fanastic job on the layers and trim, but she had told me that my hair is more wavy than curly. Like you, I waited the next morning to redo my hair and I had different results. She had used Amika products whereas I used Curlsmith. The question is was she right? Do products truly make a difference?
I have a question about the new leave-in condition. For reference, I’m a 3A curly with coarse to medium low-density hair that is overall healthy and virgin. Is this conditioner suggested for more bleached, damage hair, or can this also be used before straightening my hair to prevent further damage?
Curly hair is SO different, it’s amazing. My curls are just a little looser than Mell’s but they LOVE finger coiling and hate styling brushes lmao. Must be the thickness, my hair is super thick ETA: She just mentioned it’s good for damaged hair, guilty as charged lmao
@ManesByMell A little off topic here but...lets talk about haircuts. 😊 I always do a wet cut but what i am seeing is that when its cut short once its dried and curled up it looks uneven. Mostly the ends. Your thoughts on this. ❤
Not even gonna lie. The minute I saw that stylists straight blonde hair i knew thinfs were gonna go south. Not that ppl with straight hair CANT style curly hair....but ive rarely seen them do it well lol.
I definitely follow stylists with straight hair, short hair, everything but curly hair and they can style the most textured and least textured hairs. BUT when you have that lived experience, you just get it. Her technique was taught, but didn’t seem practiced
My hair is kinky, curly and porous very porous like yours and my hair damaged because I usually blow dry it. I do have some old Plex products that I use and I like so I’m going to definitely try these two new ones. This is a great video thank you for all of the information.
And so my hair came out similar to yours after trying a hair mask. I have thinning fine to see and three a curls. Should I not use a mask? It did it for the damage. I have on the bleached areas although there’s not much of it.
It happened to me too, after 4 years on grow out! Moved to a new town took a chance on a new stylist. Read her reviews even called the salon to ask if she does curly hair. They lied. Never again.
I was waiting for you to review this product. The 15 washes claim got me very interested, but the finger coiling is not doing it for me. I was worried it could have a relaxant effect on the hair if it's not previously damaged but seems like that's a non-concern.
I often need to restyle after a salon visit. I have fine and high porosity hair, and I need the most help with volume. What I usually get is definition but flat. No bueno!
(i edited this video all by myself and didn't originally plan to post it here so apologies for the orientation but also do you like vertical videos??)
in youtube shorts yes but in the actual video not exavtly because of all the extra space love you mell!
It's perfect. ❤

Same here! I always get so frustrated when I tell the stylist that my curls don’t respond well to certain techniques/products.

@@ManesByMell
You think Florida is bad, how does PUERTO RICO sound to you!!!! 😰
Oh boy, what have they done to your beautiful hair of a masterpiece Mell!?! Glad you were able to recover from it. 🙈😱❤
Would love an in-depth video on these products when you get your hands on them! Thank you for being honest about your experience💖
@@ManesByMell yes I think that’s a good plan! How does that saying go, everything in moderation?? 😂👏 Love you Mel! ❤️
Imagine how us mere mortals feel 😢
right??? it can feel too scary to speak up 😭
1) I love the vertical/portrait orientation for this video.
I hate my hair natural AND straightened 😭
her entire application was wrong , this treatment is absolutely amazzzzing and I can’t wait for you to get a proper service and experience it! ❤️
See why so many of us are scared to go to a stylist unless they know our hair and our hair routines.
Please do a review of shampoo & conditioner bars, like Kitsch. I want to use less plastic but also need to know if they are up to the task of curly hair 🫣 ❤
Oh yes,me too 😊
It made my hair worse. Dry like straw.
I'm 3c and let me tell you, I'm loving #5! I can't wait to try the gel, I just purchased it from Ulta. Thanks for this review, you had beautiful results!
I’ve given up with hairdressers, they just haven’t got the knowledge but plenty of confidence🤷🏻♀️, I’m blessed that my hair grows super fast but to leave every time with my hair looking the worst and the cut layered to an inch of its life( I have super fine hair but lots of it with what I call an opposite Mohawk as that has always been my thinnest section)
I’m 62, trim my own hair and box brown for my greys🤷🏻♀️😭. It keeps it looking like me but I may be lucky 2-3 times a year having a good hair day
Mwa 🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺❤️🧡
Saaaaame!!
I'm so glad you managed to rescue your hair, it's awful leaving a salon unhappy with the result. Definitely buy it yourself and use it on other people so we can see what's SUPPOSED to happen ❤
Still flabbergasted how just changing your styling technique can make such a difference in one's curls. It was game changer for me.
I wouldn’t go back to that stylist, she’s clueless about styling curly hair… unfortunately most still are, save your money honey
I love how dedicated you are to teaching us ❤ Looking to learn from you so much ❤
I saw another video about this system last week and I'm dying to try it out.
The gel
Gives me some hope for humidity for living in Florida 😅 do you think using the leav in and gel together would be best or can be mixed with another leave in?
Every time I leave a hair salon I have to go home re-wet my hair & restyle . It’s wavy curly , I leave & it’s barely wavy in spots curly in others . Frustrating. But I’m looking forward to trying the new gel
I have the same hair and am using the new gel. I actually have had good results. I also have good results with a thick leave in conditioner or the new Fructis hylaronic filler moisturize gel. My hair loves moisture. If these products work for you then you might like the gel ( it’s like 30-35 dollars so I hope that’s helpful).
Your videos have helped me on my curly hair journey so much!
This gives me hope that even you being so knowledgeable and have such incredible hair can experience a “curl crime”! I knew you would get your curls back doing it yourself though because you are a Curl Queen. 🥰
Wow!!! I'm sad for you that this happened! You made your hair beautiful again. I look forward to your update! 💗
Hate vertical videos!!!!! 😢
So sad to have watched you have to go threw this.
Agreed!!
The treatment is amazing it looks more like styling problem above anything.
I'll come to Canada and let you try it on my curls!! I have been watching you for years and would let you tame my crazy, dry, colored curls.
So funny how only we know how our hair behaves to different techniques unlike any stylist
l´m sorry to say as a professional stylist myself but she applied the the treatment wrong! she needs to go back and redo the training recommend before she learned how to do the treatment. but im glad things turned out good for you. you look absolutely beautiful!!!! and I soooo love your curls!!!!
Mel! Amazing results!!! 😍➰
Question!
Whew! ❤
All your looks are amazing but the darker colors on you Mell look better ❤
I love the color Mell!! It seems like you're gradually going lighter and lighter 👀
Blonde’s making her way back -- but I’m happy here!!! Until one day I go platinum all over who knows 🤪🤪
Thank You Mel, for this Video!!! I’m glad with the treatment I use myself!!!
Your inner self must of been screaming inside watching how it was being styled. Try it on Amanda’s first , it will be interesting to see if you think it has made any difference a couple of washes down the line . Keep up the good work and well done with the editing.
You know you are just going to get it😂 im here for it
LMAO I’m totally gunna buy it and use it on everyone I know hahaha who’s coming over??
Sign me up! Just laugh with me on how I tried my best to follow your at home curly cuts at home for layers that definitely are NOT even 🤪
If I was a stylist I would be so intimidated working on your hair!
Hey mell!! love u and the effort you put in all your videos, your amazing :D
Hi Lee omg that means so much thank you, glad you enjoy them
@ManesByMell Two questions: Did she know that you are a UA-cam sensation? How did you handle tipping in this situation?
Great question!
I love the honesty!
Thank you so much for this! I really want to try this out, but I’ll cancel my appt in Ulta as they don’t even offer curly hair cuts, or any curly service I’m afraid I’m gonna be crushed by the results.
Hopefully the curly specialist in my town will offer it soon
And I hope you can try it with other people and provide us with the results 🎉
Oh...... What a predicament 😱
Definitely test it yourself on everyone 😅👌 we want to see!!. You got skills with refreshing. Your hair looks beautiful at the end 😍. Like the hair in the begining wasnt your hair. Now... It's your hair😎
Thank you, this was very interesting!
The new warm blonde is lookin fabulous!
Hey Mel, have you done a video about hair during menopause?
Thanks ☺️
Would love a video on this!
No no no! She didn't see your face?! She didn't feel your vibe in her/ your chair?! This happens 2 U!
Heres to hoping the next video would be the bounce curl brush comparison video.
I have a clothes steamer and I specifically chose one that does not get too hot. My face steamer is too hot in IMO
@@angieb9076 Oh okay, that seems weird for the face. Thanks!
What a roller coaster 😂
LOL forreal
My sister is a great hairstylist and can cut my curly hair really well, but even with her, who is the only stylist I trust to touch my curls, I still style and diffuse it myself!
The video I've been waiting for 🙏
I'm glad the blonde is back!
Im confused how she couldnt tell it didnt look as good as when you came in😮 ive never seen your hair look like that, im shocked you were able to revive it so well!
I think it would be interesting to see you get it done again and you do it on Amanda to see the differences between techniques
Just a point of clarification: you said, more than once I believe, that the treatment is supposed to last "up to 15 washes."
Then you said, more than once I believe, that that would be about 15 washes...or two weeks (or some such-- not sure if it was 2-3 weeks or what).
Bottom line: try it for yourself.
And as we’ve seen in this video, the product is not always to blame.
hiii ! i got a haircut today and it is pretty short , i would want tips on how to take care of it
Hi lovely!!!
@@ManesByMellthank you so so much mell !
Must be the thickness, my hair is super thick
ETA: She just mentioned it’s good for damaged hair, guilty as charged lmao
@ManesByMell
A little off topic here but...lets talk about haircuts.
I’m considering. But I need more reviews from you! 🤣
Tbh I cant tell if it was the treatment or the stylist that gave you those results. Should I be worried if I buy these products?
Keep watching because after i restyled it was a WHOLE new head of hair
Wow! That's so interesting to hear. Guy tang made it look fabulous.
I often need to restyle after a salon visit. I have fine and high porosity hair, and I need the most help with volume. What I usually get is definition but flat. No bueno!
OMG You a SUPERSTAR !
I’m Sad I just Now Found You ! 🙂↕️
God Bless You ❤
