Did you buy your brush online? I've only discovered this brush today and there are so many sites that sell it. I'm concerned they are fake/inferior makes.
😲Oh my!! I just went and grabbed my best dollar store hair brush, and carved notches into its sides. It turned out perfect. Tomorrow is wash day. I can't wait to see how it works.
I’m a BIG FAN of this brush. Game changer for me! I’m low density, fine, thin, 2c-3a, natural grey. Have been using this brush for 3 months now and love the ease of styling it gives me. I section (casually) but what I do differently from what you showed is that I gently place the edge of my hand at the root level of the section I’m working, brush thru letting the curls fall over the back of my hand, shake the hand a tiny bit to encourage the curls then gently remove my hand. What I get is the root lift and curl to root that I so desperately need and want. This has cut my styling time by 3/4 and provided a consistent result unlike I’ve been able to achieve in any other way! P.s using this on wet hair with only a hard hold, slippery gel has not caused any hair loss like what you seemed to be concerned about.
@@sarastruckman6090 since this has changed my game, I’ve been working thru all my excess product. I’ve just finished (and replaced) InnerSense I Create Hold. And am now finishing off my bottle of AG Liquid Effects. My plan is to use up what I’ve got …and I thought my challenges were product related not technical…so I have a lot to go thru! Ha!!! I double wash, lightly condition and rinse. Then I apply the gel, in shower, to my dripping wet hair. Praying hands, raking, doing all the thangs to get everything coated. Scrunch and then shower cap till I’m ready to style. The point is that the hard hold gos on very wet hair, well distributed, and left to be well absorbed. THEN I style with the brush. When everything is where it should be this last step is KEY and seems to be working with all the gels. I glaze over and really scrunch in, either the InnerSense newer I create Definition Foam (sparingly) or sprayed onto wet hands… the Bounce Curl Hair Spray. This last action has proven key to locking in the curls and bounce. I get a crunchy cast that then either shakes out or smooths out beautifully.
I'm a 2C with some 3A, fin, low-med density, high porosity, dyed, 54yo...been using the bounce curl brush for 2-3 months and I love it. It gives even clumps and makes my hair more curly 3A then wavy 2C, helps with volume too. It's easy to use but I do loose hair as I only style once a week...Wich seems normal to me...I just refresh with Lus coily leave-in I mix in my hands with water and squish in my hair until wet, then let dry and hair gets back to what they looked the day before. Love that brush, even bought one for my son wich has 3a corse hair, his curls are really define and more curly.
I have similar hair like you. Do you think this brush makes your roots look flat? The only concern I have with bristles brushes is that creates that affect on me. Like the tension flat my roots and the end look very well defined. That’s the only reason I’ve hesitated to buy this brush. I use the Denman and I wise tooth brush to separate the clumps. I really would love to have something that saves me a little bit of time.
I am a wavy/curly with fine, medium density hair. I feel like this brush is the most gentle of all that I have tried (tangle teezer and denman). But I am not turning the brush a ton, mostly just up and away from my scalp, for product distribution more than anything. And because it feels really good! This brush is amazing! I get the amount of definition I want and very little frizz. Not too clumpy, just right. ❤❤
I bought this brush a month ago and it’s amazing. My hair is type 2. I have even tried it without any product (although it still had slip from the shower) and my hair still looked amazing - way curlier than before!
Thank you for your comment!!! I've only recently discovered my type 2 waves and I'm trying to find some more definition. Def buying this brush to try it out!!
Been using this brush for 6 weeks with the Bounce products. My hair is 2c/3a. Love this brush!! Been noticing more even looking curls around my head. They are super soft and bouncy 😍
Mel, I’m super resistant to using products you haven’t recommended (you literally changed my feelings about my wild mane after following your tutorials- they’re amazing), so I didn’t want to try this before you but I got it as a gift. I love it but I kept worrying you hadn’t tried it so I’m relieved to see this. You’re doing an amazing job, thank you for guiding us curly haired ladies to navigate the nightmare of wacky new products and helping us love our hair 🥰 This brush halved my styling time. I’m a mix of 2C and 3a
I have a 3a curl and have some thinning at the crown. I recently have purchased the Denman brush to brush style my hair. Like it so far. Because of the tension you say that the Bounce curl brush gives, I will probably pass. I would however like to see a side by side comparison of the Bounce Curl and the Denman. Love that short bob on you! Looking good Mel!

@@AnaMiel4324 It gave a lot of lift to my roots but I have to remember to brush the top up and the sides outwards. It definitely helped them to be less flat. I’m usually rubbish with my hair so if I can use it effectively, anyone can. I also found putting a couple of small clamp clips in my hair when it’s damp and styled helps lift it. My hair is super heavy and long so is often pulled flat but the brush and clamps are great. Never thought I’d leave my Denman brush, but it makes a huge difference in time and my curls look so much more defined. Go for it ✊
Yes! Curly/wavy-ish fine hair here. I'd love a comparison between this and the Denman! I need to make a decision soon... Thanks for all the great videos and making us laugh and enjoy life!! 😊
Just got this brush today and just finalized my styling after wash. My hair is 2c to 3b and the top crown area is the “problem area” and a looser curl pattern. I have tried brush styling before but honestly it never worked for me UNTIL NOW! This brush evens out my curl pattern and holy smokes I saved so much time styling. After I scrunched in gel I noticed a part on the side of my head was too clumped. One pass with the brush and BOOM issue resolved. That all said I highly recommend this brush for 2c-3b hair. My hair is also very high porosity and had zero issues with too much tension like I do with a Denman.
I just used this brush for the first time and I was so nervous that it would put too much tension on my fine, breakage prone curls. I was shocked by how easily it combed through my shoulder length hair. More gentle than my Denman. I am a fan!
Same. I have 2 different curl patterns and this brush makes my curls not only looks beautiful but it lasts. I’m going to always have this brush on hand.
I’m a 2abc wavy, and I love this brush. It helps so much with definition while still giving me volume. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is time consuming, but I can go longer between styling, so it evens out in the end.
As a wavy, Do you think this brush makes your roots look flat? The only concern I have with bristles brushes is that creates that affect on me. SO glad you reviewed this! I'd love to see them come up with a version with wider gaps for those of us who like fatter clumps. I can definitely see the potential for my wavy hair to look stringy.
I'm a 2b/2c wavey. Fine hair, medium porosity and medium density.....and I LOVE THIS BRUSH. I get zero performance from the Denman....but this brush...WOW...gives me lightweight bouncy waves and curls! Expensive to Canada yes....for me WORTH IT!
So helpful to see you use this on Amanda! I am a type 3b and id love to see her review when she uses the brush herself! You guys have changed my curly hair for the better! THANK YOU SEESTERS!
My hair is the same (depending on humidity 😂) with the added bonus of a LOT of super fine strands, so any products weigh it down so much 😭 aparently I need this brush
I’m a 2a/2b also, except I’m gray, coarse. I was told once long ago I had ‘hard’ hair. 🤷🏼♀️ I’m high porosity and since menopause med density. I’m leaning toward purchase. 🤞🏻
Medium length 3b/c curls, fine texture, medium porosity and density… I got my Bounce Curl Brush at the beginning of December! I absolutely LOVE it!! It creates super defined curls and for me, I can get more volume, as well as curl definition all over. I’ve struggled to get defined curls at my crown and back of my head with others brushes. The curls were always more stretched out than the rest of my head. I tried the tangle teaser and the Denman, but I couldn’t get enough tension due to the slip in my hair to get a good coil and it would make large clumps because I’d have to use both hands to create enough tension in each section. It’s cut my styling time in half!!
I would love to see a comparison with the brushes too! I have tried using brushes on my wavy hair and I am not sure the effort is worth it yet. I will keep trying though. Thank You for the vids, Mell!! I appreciate your advice and teaching us different ways to embrace our curls & waves!
I have this brush since early december? I freaking love this brush! my curls are more defined and curl more! It goes trough my hair like butter and I have a mix of 2c/3a curls and wish I had this brush earlier! It's a game changer! 😍
Love seeing you review this! I got this on second release after it sold out so have been trying it out for a while. I have 2C/3A hair and I love this brush but probably for a different reason than most. I’ve always struggled with clumps and usually have to go back in and finger coil a bunch of strands if I want any kind of definition. This brush completely removes the need for that! And give me consistent clumps even when I don’t section much. I don’t have much energy to wash my hair due to my disability and kind of gave up on trying to make my curls pop, but this brush has allowed me definition with much less energy expenditure 🥰

Ive been using the brush for 3 months I am a 3BC and it has been a game changer. Ive noticed my curls are more defined, trained, less tangled bc the curls are together and my style lasts longer. My hair is growing and feels more hydrated. I just did my midweek rehydration with water, leave in and some oil and my curls were popping no holding product. After sleeping they were still defined. I used the verb curling mouse to give my hair some hold while i went out to see how it last. But I think ill use a hairspray for my refresh instead just bought the curlsmith strong hold. I usually style with Leave-in, curl cream, and gel.
Do the sections, don't scrunch & do the SwavyCourtney SwungCurl clump swing & it will spiral hair up to the roots. Also, if hair is low density, you can wet the brush to get clumps. I LOVE this brush on my Fine, Low D, low Po 2bc3a bob!
Just got my brush and I'm so happy with it! 3a/3b short curls. I've been having a dickens of a time styling it. This brush has done everything I've wanted to do with my hair! 👏🏾👏🏾
Ironically I had an appointment at Bounce Curl today and this brush is amazing. I have a 3a pattern with a little 3b and loved the definition and spirals I got from the brush. A lot of shrinkage as well. My hair is fine and don’t feel it pulled on my hair but I could feel the tension. ❤
Girl I love your honesty!!! Also how you review for multiple curl patterns !!! Update 29 may 24: just for my bounce curl brush - can’t wait to see my results
I am a 2C and so far I am loving the results of this brush!! I have very fragile hair but I make sure there's plenty of slip before I start brushing. But, admittedly, it's the first curling brush I have tried. I need to compare it to the Denman and Tangle Teezer. I am looking forward to seeing how it works as my hair grows out a bit, I think I will like the results more!
I bet that our hairs are similar-ish. Lemme tell ya, because I've bought a handful of expensive brushes. I think that you should just stop with this one! The Bounce Curl brush has been the easiest to use, giving the best results of any brush in my pile! You will never regret not wasting the money. 😉☺️
My curl stylist introduced the Bounce Curl brush in December. My curls have never looked as good as they did after she used the brush. I ordered one immediately when I got home. Apparently I got lucky because it shipped within 1 week. I have thick 3 B-C curls. The brush also helps the products you use get into the hair. I am so thrilled with this tool! I also do more than one pass with the brush on each section (one on each side of the section I’m curling) as for me this really helps define the curl clumps.
Sitting on my bathroom floor watching this before jumping into the shower and starting the process with my newly unpacked brush that took FOREVER to reach Australia!!! 3b/c hair. Here it goes
I wish I saw this video before I ordered the Bouncy curl brush. I have short 2 A curly hair. I personally prefer the Denman brush better. Thank you for this video ❤
11:05 Mell, that style is so gorgeous on you! It seems like it is perfect for the shape of your face, as if it gives you more energy, freedom, and bounce! 🥰👏🏽
Loved this demo... got the brush before 2nd sellout . I did lose and snap hair. So have not tried it again. Your explanation was amazing for the probable reason. Don't know if my hair is strong enough for brush styling but it did give me ringlets. Great video.
I have 3A, coarse, low density hair and so far I've really been enjoying this brush. It cuts down the brush styling time as it does a lot of the work for you and I find the pointy sectioning end a handy addition too. My curls came out extremely even as the clumps are all the same size with the brush. I still have to play around with it a bit to find the perfect routine, I've tried it with my hold products already applied so I would not disturb the brush clumps, but will be using it with just a leave-in and applying the hold products after brush styling for the next washes as I normally did before getting this brush. Overall, I'm impressed!
I'm so crazy about this brush. 2C/3B curls and they have never looked better. I actually bought a second one so that I never have to be without it. Glad to see you like it too.
Really love the results! My hair might be too loose and delicate for it but i want to try it! As well have been wanting to try thr behairful brush for some time but it's hard to justify thr expense. My best results so far have been with the classic denman
I have wavy hair. This brush gives me the curliest hair I've ever had. I've used Denman and the Behairful brush - I actually have tension with this. There's no tension at all with the Denman. I have fine, silky hair. Paired with the new Innersense I Create Definition foam and I have defined curls that are not weighed down at all! Best hairdays I've ever had.
I have similar hair like you. Do you think this brush makes your roots look flat? The only concern I have with bristles brushes is that creates that affect on me. @@AnaMiel4324 quite the opposite! Using this brush gives me curly roots - something I've never had before. I do have bangs and some layers. Using this brush with the Innersense Foam really helps as well because the foam has firm hold without weighting hair down. I always struggled with flat hair, but not anymore. I also don't find the brush pulls at my hair at all.
I was lucky enough to get this brush during the first launch and it has been an absolute game changer for me. I love it and it streamlines my routine so much. My hair is anywhere from 3A to 3C and this helps the curls appear more uniform. It’s a 10/10 for me ❤
Mell I don’t use any products that you don’t recommend. I think you are awesome you have taught me how to style my curls. I wish I live close enough so I could come to your salon. Keep up the great work ❤
I have wavy hair and I use it every wash day. It does help create fantastic curl clumps and it's a must have item for me. The denman brush is now collecting dust in my drawer. My hair is 2c-3a.

I have this brush& my hair is fine, low density, & type 3. I like to use it on my underneath layers that are always harder to control, as well as the back of my head, but I find that the brush can loosen my curls at the front of my head, where they are the finest.
This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I've been rocking a combo with my wide-tooth comb and my denman brush and wishing that I had something that was both in one. The denman brush makes very decent curlss for me, not better than finger coiling or rolling but we don't always have the time to put into styling each and every style day. The comb gives me almost perfect sized locks and it has been good enough for a while now. This IS that both in one I have been looking for and I'm excited to try it, while being careful. I'm not pulling out all my hair on a dream.
I have been using this brush for a couple of months. I have 2c-3b thick hair. It works well. It also works well when I’m just casually styling with bigger sections. Worth the money.

Thank you for the video! I also a have fine hair, and at shoulder length. I have a concern with using tools like brushes and combs due to the tension it puts on my hair. I’m still in search for other ways of styling my hair with my hands. Is there any way you can do a video tutorial showing the different ways of using hands to achieve a nice look for the curls please?
I have 2c/3a & love the brush! Especially for the much looser curl pattern around my face. It makes the curls spring much more than with other brushes that I've used.
I have 3 B curls, and a few weeks ago, I ordered a dupe for the Bounce brush. I absolutely love it. It doesn't pull my hair anymore than my detangler brush. It's meant to be used on wet hair, so it really glides right through. It really doesn't pull out hairs, and it's normal to lose up to a hundred hairs a day. But it is also important to keep your hair moisturized and use a good styling product. I live in very humid south Florida, and Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Heat and Humidity Stronger Hold Gel works very well for me. I use a diffuser to dry my hair.
I have the same patherm like you. I have medium strands, medium density, high porosity.
I've been using the Bounce Curl brush on my 3A/B natural gray medium to coarse curls and I love the results on my Bob. My style last longer as well. I love this Bounce Curls brush, my curls are uniform and I have no need to separate them, hence so frizz.Yes I have noticed some hairs on the brush but to be honest I noticed the same amounts of hair on my Denman brush.I highly recommend this brush, it has been a game changer for me. I wish I could say the same for the products. Whereby they are good they are highly fragrant and the smell gives me a headache boohoo. Thank you Mell for helping me start my curl journey. Your tips have really helped. Peace
I don’t typically brush style at all, but I love watching these videos. I have 2b/2c/3a and tend to style with curl cream and mousse in the shower and then gel after towel drying then air drying, then scrunch out once dry.
Honestly this is the best brush I’ve ever used. I have 3A/B curls but it’s extremely course and frizzy no matter what I do. But this brush!!!! Life saver. It dose take a while to styling because of all the sectioning but it’s totally worth it. My have has never been so defined.
I don't know how to say this but it's just so nice to hang out with Mell and her lovely seesta Amanda, 100% informative comfort watch. Every video is concise, well-educated, useful and super entertaining, huge props to the team!!
I have wavy/loose curls with medium texture and I love it on myself. I was nervous that it would make the clumps too small but it came out amazing. I also have used it on a few clients in the salon and have found that it’s not great for fine hair but definitely works better with as much water as possible
Losing only 4-5 strands is actually amazing!! They say we lose 100-200 ! a day in general so I'd say you're way ahead of the game. And with hiw fabulous those curls came out, so good and so worth it! Wonder if this would work on my fro "straight wavy" hair...
I think I ordered mine around the same time as you. I have only had a couple curly wash days since I got it. I have fine coily hair like Tammy I loved the ease and feel immediately but realized once dry that just like you said I should have done narrower sections. I watched while working on my bob✂️✂️ but was too tired to style once I was finished 😅. I will use your suggestion soon (and if I have the nerve I'll post and tag you, though I may wait until I do bangs) Thanks for all the helpful tips and demos! 😊💜
I have the brush and I'm 2b/3a with a highlighted curly bob. I use this brush everytime I brush style my hair and I love it! I find it makes the clumps bigger and more defined instead of stringy and fine, which is my hair texture. Sure it will take a little hair with it, but it's normal to shed a few everyday. It happens with any brush I use.
I have similar hair like you. Do you think this brush makes your roots look flat? The only concern I have with bristles brushes is that creates that affect on me. I've never been able to lift my roots unless I have a pixie cut. I don't think the brush will make the roots flat if you have that cut or if you have short top layers. Anything longer than that, even after drying upside down, my roots will end up flat by the second day, brush or no brush. It's a struggle that wavy/curly girls with longer hair will always have.
I have this brush and my hair type is about 3B. I love the way it gives my hair spiral curls. I have trouble with flatting my roots when styling (there is always frizz) and this brush absolutely does that for me.
Hey Mel, I so wanted this brush but it was always sold out. I have loose curls and own the regular denman, the denman paddle brush, the tangle teaser and the Felicia Leatherwood brush. Oh man do I really need to spend more money on The Bounce Curl? Do I ? I do love Bounce Curl Shampoo and the Curl Cream. Glad you covered this one.
I've had this since it released, and I love it. I have fine hair with curls underneath that is more wavy on top (to my utter frustration, lol) but this gives me so much more curl. I do have to use my tangle teaser to distribute the products because this creates too much tension for that.
Try adding the SwavyCourtney SwungCurl clump swing after you section & brush (don't scrunch until after the swing). I have the same issue on top, and this helps get it more spirally & curly.
Omg perfect timing! I ordered mine a few days ago. Tracking says it should be here on the 27th, which is before my style day. I'm so excited to try it out!!! The founder is also making more of those brushes. Different ones for different hair textures, since this most likely won't work for everyone.
I am so happy you are finally doing a review on this brush! I am currently using the tangled teaser and absolutely love it. I can’t wait to try this ine and compare. Love your reviews as always 😊
2B/2C, fine, medium density wavy here. I really like the BC brush! I’ve used a lot of brushes over the past few years and this is my favorite. It doesn’t pull my hair at all. It glides through easily. The Denman brush was the worst for me. It felt like my hair didn’t glide over the red rubber part easily at all. My hair had to be really wet to use the Denman without too much tension. I do get a little more cult definition with this brush, which is nice.
I've had it for a few months. When i take the time to section and use it, it works very well to define and add spring to my hair. I've just been impatient and trying to simplify washes in anticipation of a vacation so i have found my hair also seems to like rake and shake lately. I have fine, dense all the 2's waves at about collarbone length. I do feel like it was worth the purchase, for brush styling it's my favorite. 👍👍
I got this brush in December when it became available again and was super excited. I have 2B-3A a little longer than my ears. And it's also very thick and a little coarse. My issue is the difference in texture from the top and sides. I was hoping this would help give volume and definition to the side underneath layers. It gave volume for sure, but honestly.......I am super lazy since my hair has gotten longer. It takes forever 🤣... so I think I need to be more deliberate in sectioning to get more defined underlayers. But so far, so good on my real styling days.
I got these brush a few months ago , I love it ❤ I have curly wavy hair 😉 I bought so many brushes. 😮 I have all the brushes in the markets but, this is the one that I really really like 😊

@@AnaMiel4324 this brush gave me a lot of volume on the roof and it gives me definition 😀 I guess it all depends how we use the brush? There’s so many influences in social media, and UA-cam etc and they all tell you something different it can be frustrated 😣 one influences like these brush another influences like a different brush But honestly, what works for me is that I watch the videos and I make my own decision 😉 I found that this brush is super soft, easy to manage, and it does give me volumes 😀
Loved seeing your results and hearing your thoughts!🫶🏼 I have fine, curly hair. This brush helps my curls spring up and be super bouncy as well! It's so easy to use! I've tried several styling methods with it. I love it so much! My absolute favorite brush!🩵➿️🩵
I have extremely fragile hair and I don't have any breakage issues with this brush, but I do it on suuuuuper wet slippery hair. I absolutely love this brush. I have 2B/3A waves and this brish gives me so much volume. It also really smooths it down and makes it shiny. I don't like my waves to be too clumpy otherwise I look like I have no hair.
Yes! Please compare bounce curl brush to den man on all 3 types of curls 😊 I’m a 2b ish I think but it might get curlier as my hair gets healthier so I like seeing all the types (and it helps everyone of course).
I have 3a/b hair and I don't love this brush. Funnily enough, my issue with it is that it doesn't have enough tension for my hair! But it's convenient when travelling since it can also do some detangling.
Type 3c/4a hair here! I don’t love it. I may have to do smaller sections but honestly my curls shrunk so much that it looked shorter than yours and normally it’s below my shoulders. I mean it really climbed up. I also noticed that my hair was pulled out. I might try it again with the curl bounce product but I am not feeling confident about it.
GIRL 😳…… your hair is EXTRA curly. I’ve seen this awhile back and wanted it but never got it, I think I might have to now! Can’t wait to see u style wavy/curly cux that’s me!
I’m a 2A-2C wavy, and tbh, i always struggle with brushes like tangle teezer because some of the clumps end up so big that the curls just end up as weird bumpy sections that don’t know how to fall. So i think that this brush might actually be helpful to me🤞🏻
I finally purchased the bounce curl brush. It did defined my curls more than my tangle teezer brush, but I would not use the bounce curl brush on every wash day because of all the tension. I think thicker strands would benefit more than finer curls.
I have 3b/3c hair and I've had this brush since the fall and its a life changer. It now takes me 15 minutes to set my curls and Im good for 4 days!
I'm worried that it will leave frizzy roots as I saw someone with 3c curls like mine try this and her roots were a frizzy mess
Did you buy your brush online? I've only discovered this brush today and there are so many sites that sell it. I'm concerned they are fake/inferior makes.
@@claunspach buy from bounce curl directly then because ive seen a lot of fakes
do you air dry or diffuse?
@@filmsbynix12:46 She may not have detangled her hair well enough, used too little product, or took sections that were too big.

Way to go! Love a good diy!
dude thankyouuu
I highly recommend giving it a try, if you have the tools. It did a fantastic job on my 3a/b curls.
🙋♀️I want to see it please!
Not quite the same. The brush has more rounded grooves and the brush is worth it!
I’m a BIG FAN of this brush. Game changer for me! I’m low density, fine, thin, 2c-3a, natural grey. Have been using this brush for 3 months now and love the ease of styling it gives me.
Your hair and mine are the same!!! Would love to know what gel you're using!
@@sarastruckman6090 I replied to you and now it is missing. Have no idea why.
Jesus loves you ❤😊❤😊
@@giuliacarvelli1100same here! I’m new to styling my 2b-3a. Learning process, here I was just content liking like a lion for the last decade. 😆
Been using this brush for 6 weeks with the Bounce products. My hair is 2c/3a. Love this brush!! Been noticing more even looking curls around my head. They are super soft and bouncy 😍
I loveeee that Janine thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for sharing!! I have mostly 2c/3a as well and I wasn't exactly sold on this brush but now I'm definitely leaving towards trying it!!
I was also not sure due to 2c/3a hair but excited to now!
Thank you for this, I also have 2C/3A and was hesitant but I am thinking about trying this now.
I think ima try it now 2c/3a/3b
(I have no uniformity in my hair😂)
I love that you've tested in different types of curls, that's def a pro work ❤
Mel, I’m super resistant to using products you haven’t recommended (you literally changed my feelings about my wild mane after following your tutorials- they’re amazing), so I didn’t want to try this before you but I got it as a gift.

@@MacGrumpo o lo lo
Jesus loves you ❤😊😊
I just used this brush for the first time and I was so nervous that it would put too much tension on my fine, breakage prone curls.
I'm 2B, 2C and 3A with fine texture, thick volume, long hair... and also love it. I am overdue for a cut but still did good at the roots.
SO glad you reviewed this! I'd love to see them come up with a version with wider gaps for those of us who like fatter clumps. I can definitely see the potential for my wavy hair to look stringy.
this is exactly why i haven’t bought it 😭
Just a thought, but you can probably just tape off every other end if that's what you're looking for to widen the gaps
I hope they come out with a mini version of this brush for people with short and fine hair! 🤞🙏
Mel says her hair is fine and it is also short, so I’d say it did a fantastic job
They did, it's called the EdgeLift brush
I'm a 2b/2c wavey. Fine hair, medium porosity and medium density.....and I LOVE THIS BRUSH. I get zero performance from the Denman....but this brush...WOW...gives me lightweight bouncy waves and curls! Expensive to Canada yes....for me WORTH IT!
So helpful to see you use this on Amanda! I am a type 3b and id love to see her review when she uses the brush herself! You guys have changed my curly hair for the better! THANK YOU SEESTERS!
I have 2a/2b and potentially some other patterns as well. Super fine thin hair. This 100% works.
Medium length 3b/c curls, fine texture, medium porosity and density…
I got my Bounce Curl Brush at the beginning of December!
2c 3a type hair here. Was ready for a cut. After using this brush it much curlier and defined. Glad I purchased. 😊
I have similar hair like you. Do you think this brush makes your roots look flat? The only concern I have with bristles brushes is that creates that affect on me.
What is that?
Just got my brush and I'm so happy with it! 3a/3b short curls. I've been having a dickens of a time styling it. This brush has done everything I've wanted to do with my hair! 👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you for trying the techniques on different curl patterns. It's so helpful. ❤
I'm a big fan of this brush. It's literally cut my styling time down to 5 minutes (shoulder length hair) and the results are epic.
Omg Amanda’s hair is gorgeous that dark color I’m obsessed 🤩 and the bangs omg
I've been waitin SOOOO LOOOONG for u2 review their brush! WHOO-HOOO!! 💜💜💜💜
HAPPY TEXTURE THURSDAY ❤️❤️❤️
Sitting on my bathroom floor watching this before jumping into the shower and starting the process with my newly unpacked brush that took FOREVER to reach Australia!!! 3b/c hair. Here it goes
I wish I saw this video before I ordered the Bouncy curl brush.
I have short 2 A curly hair.
I personally prefer the Denman brush better.
Thank you for this video ❤

@@ManesByMellI know I’m old enough to be your mom(grandma ?) but I really think we could be friends!
Loved this demo... got the brush before 2nd sellout . I did lose and snap hair. So have not tried it again. Your explanation was amazing for the probable reason. Don't know if my hair is strong enough for brush styling but it did give me ringlets. Great video.
2-3C past shoulders - This brush changed my styling routine. It is a game changer great sub for finger coiling and denmen.
Mel, I dont know which one I come here for, your content or you! You are hilarious! Love you sis. ❤
Please compare it side-by-side with the Denman brush 🙏
I have 3A, coarse, low density hair and so far I've really been enjoying this brush. It cuts down the brush styling time as it does a lot of the work for you and I find the pointy sectioning end a handy addition too. My curls came out extremely even as the clumps are all the same size with the brush. I still have to play around with it a bit to find the perfect routine, I've tried it with my hold products already applied so I would not disturb the brush clumps, but will be using it with just a leave-in and applying the hold products after brush styling for the next washes as I normally did before getting this brush. Overall, I'm impressed!
This was incredibly helpful, because it not only explained the benefit of the featured brush, but also the tangle teaser and the denman brush
So helpful!! Thank you Mel for everything you do on your channel!! For someone who is starting on her curly hair journey, your videos are so helpful!!
Yesss! I’ve been using the innersense foam also!! Love it.

I would love to see that brush compared with others. You are such a riot, thanks for being you. ❤
I was lucky enough to get this brush during the first launch and it has been an absolute game changer for me. I love it and it streamlines my routine so much. My hair is anywhere from 3A to 3C and this helps the curls appear more uniform. It’s a 10/10 for me ❤
The wig was a 3B 3C you are more of a 2C 3A
Mell I don’t use any products that you don’t recommend. I think you are awesome you have taught me how to style my curls. I wish I live close enough so I could come to your salon. Keep up the great work ❤
I was looking for the curl gel and mousse she recommends but I haven’t found a link that works
I got this brush a few months ago and I love it. I have 3a/b curls and my clumps are so much more defined.
I absolutely love my Tangle Teezer, but this video convinced me to finally try out this brush.
Girl you really have helped me so much throughout the years. I appreciate you so much
I have wavy hair and I use it every wash day. It does help create fantastic curl clumps and it's a must have item for me. The denman brush is now collecting dust in my drawer. My hair is 2c-3a.
I have the same type hair.. you have talked me into it..
I haven't even heard of it 🤣 the joys of living in Europe

Yay!! I am so excited to see my favorite curly girly using my favorite products! Thanks so much Mel! You are a blessing to me!
For me the Bounce Brush is amazing for my curls vs the Deman brush . Yes I take smaller sections and my curls look so pretty and it last for days
Mel, I have already commented but I wanted to say yes please do
A side by side comparison of the bounce curl and Denmon
Great video Mell and co! I've been using this brush for about eight weeks and love it. Type 2bc/3a. Definition lasts longer too.❤

Fantastic video! Loved how you used it on all different kinds of curl/wave - super helpful.
I don't know how to say this but it's just so nice to hang out with Mell and her lovely seesta Amanda, 100% informative comfort watch. Every video is concise, well-educated, useful and super entertaining, huge props to the team!!
Also bloopers are CRUCIAL
Great demo! Btw, your makeup today is especially flattering.

I purchased this brush and LOVE IT❤❤❤❤❤. My hair is short and curly (don’t know the “type”) and it works wonders. My curls have never looked so good.
I have this brush and I adore it!!! It defines my hair soooo well!
That's exactly what my hair is like; this gives me hope for this brush🤞
It made me want to invest in a denmon brush, because the bounce curl almost got me! Thank you, curl Queen! 💋
Omg perfect timing! I ordered mine a few days ago. Tracking says it should be here on the 27th, which is before my style day. I'm so excited to try it out!!! The founder is also making more of those brushes. Different ones for different hair textures, since this most likely won't work for everyone.
Appreciate this review and you! My curls are not all equal and I think this brush is a no for my thin hair.
I got these brush a few months ago , I love it ❤
I have curly wavy hair 😉
I bought so many brushes. 😮
I have all the brushes in the markets but, this is the one that I really really like 😊
I have similar hair like you.
@@AnaMiel4324 this brush gave me a lot of volume on the roof and it gives me definition 😀
I guess it all depends how we use the brush?
There’s so many influences in social media, and UA-cam etc and they all tell you something different it can be frustrated 😣
one influences like these brush
another influences like a different brush
But honestly, what works for me is that I watch the videos and I make my own decision 😉
I found that this brush is super soft, easy to manage, and it does give me volumes 😀
I have been waiting for this review for my 3a hair. Off to order it now! Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
OMGGG UR HAIR LOOKS SO FIRE AND AMAZING! THE BOB IS STUNNING AND I ALSO LOVE UR VIDS TOO!!! 😍🥰
Happy Texture Thursday!! Been waiting for you to try this!! Now I must buy it lol!! Much love and happiness!! Xoxo 😘
I am obsessed with mine. This brush cut my styling time so much. ❤
GIRL 😳…… your hair is EXTRA curly. I’ve seen this awhile back and wanted it but never got it, I think I might have to now! Can’t wait to see u style wavy/curly cux that’s me!
I’ve had this brush since last Summer and it’s been a game changer! Love it, will always use it.
I’m a 2A-2C wavy, and tbh, i always struggle with brushes like tangle teezer because some of the clumps end up so big that the curls just end up as weird bumpy sections that don’t know how to fall. So i think that this brush might actually be helpful to me🤞🏻
Amanda’s hair is so gorgeous after using the new brush!
I finally purchased the bounce curl brush. It did defined my curls more than my tangle teezer brush, but I would not use the bounce curl brush on every wash day because of all the tension. I think thicker strands would benefit more than finer curls.
