As soon as I saw this I had to download this app to live out my Cher from Clueless dream. It took a bit of work photographing all my clothes, but the app makes the process as easy as possible, and the AI is pretty spot on with automatically categorising my items.
I wanted this as I'm always trying to minimise my wardrobe, but I'm still a sucker for a statement piece and this app is helping me find new ways of wearing them! Everyone go for it

This app has actually helped me out so much, with so many clothes and not having the storage space to match it, I often forget I have a lot of pieces. The app has been so helpful to help me cycle through my clothing pieces, and helped me be more mindful before buying more. In my opinion, this app was an amazing idea

I think its a reasonable idea and it doesn't need to be used by everyone to be successful. Its not an all or nothing thing. I hate the way Touker says I've got everything you need but I'm out; its kind of unnecessary and unkind in my opinion; just say I'm out.

I have such a hard time deciding what to wear! I like the set up of the cloths on the app. I would like to have an app that I could enter my own clothes. That would help me stand back and get a really good view of my “inventory “. I think I would be able to see where I need to add to my wardrobe and where I have unless pieces of clothing that need to be removed. I could mix and match, using the app. therefore stretching my options. I would know what I need. The app. Could make suggestions and could make money from the sale of clothes from stores who have linked their merchandise to the app. I hope this makes sense! There would be a lot of closet organizing going on as we revamp our clothing options! I hope someone will do this!
The whering app already exists and you can add photos of your own clothes. But there are other similar apps like it...
I think that the dragons just missed the point about the metadata. That was the first thing that popped into my mind within the first few seconds of her pitch. Even though the sustainability of where the items are sourced puts her in a box, there will still be a ton of data mined and monitized here. Especially with newer phones that can track how long a persons attention is on any given part of the screen.

This is a great idea for anyone who has a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear, plus an interest in both streamlining and buying sustainable items. I hope she makes a success of it.
This is the wardrobe program from Clueless, no? And seeing as that film was 25 years ago and nobody else has brought it to market, that suggests it isn’t exactly solving a problem for anyone apart from Cher.

I can’t see this taking off. Most people just think “oh that looks nice, I’ll buy it”, and most people have certain brands & stores that they’ll exclusively shop at anyway.

I certainly know a lot of hoarders with tons of clothes, but most of them are challenged to navigate a path through their house, much less manage an inventory of clothing or anything else they own.
What kind of a banking background does she have to come in with a crazy valuation like that? Did she just come to advertise?

The problem with the app is that it already has competitors. If she is lucky one of the market leaders will buy her out.

I have more make up than clothes. Nonetheless, I do not invent an useless app. I keep my current job.
How big is this problem? It’s a cool little idea but how many people have wardrobes that full that they need help picking an outfit. I have more clothes than most but nowhere near enough I need assistance matching my shirts to my trousers.

I like this idea but sometimes I don’t know what to wear on account of weight fluctuations. I would subscribe if the app could guide me through what in my wardrobe would suit me at different times of the month.
I know this is an old comment to respond to but you can write what size a certain piece is and tag it however you like, so if you were to search for that particular tag whether stating size or another method of identifying it, it’ll come up with all your options

Everything is good about this except lack of homework. It is not the product or services for a failure. She shouldn't give up and do some mind map exercises to see her potentials.
There is something similar already available on Tik Tok or Instagram. Just for fun but it doesn't take a genius to realise it could be monetised. What this woman has is not particularly original. Also she valued her company how she did just so she could ask for more money to keep her company afloat. She is spending 6k a month and she has 10k left! She must be going broke right about... now!

Absolute ridiculous idea! She,s in some kind of fantasy world. Where women have no idea how to dress! I would bet the farm that this fails.
I mean good on her for creativity and gutsy. But having so many clothes you don't know what to wear and need an app to help you out...talk about first world problems!
not having anything to wear (while having a wardrobe full of clothes) is indeed a non-problem, but overconsumption and mass garment production by fast-fashion companies is a global issue that can be tackled by changing the way we interact with our clothes- genius idea i think! sustainability is the future
