Charles Glass is cool as f*ck. Awesome to see how passionate and open minded he is about all aspects of lifting. I definitely learned from this video.
Charles is brilliant due to being open minded and understanding how to put a twist on coaching people as individuals.
would love to spend a day in the gym with this guy, so much to learn
John McGrath I was going to post this. He's great.
I would love to be coached by this man, one of the few coolest trainers I have ever seen !
+John McGrath I met him at the Arnold in Columbus! he's awesome!
Charles Glass... You guys are living the dream
The Life Of Brian Mujati yesss brian! following the powerlifting scene too! love it.
Yezirr
The Life Of Brian Mujati Sick to see a top level Rugby player into power lifting ! Who is the strongest player you have seen in the gym Brian?
Too many players to mention.
The Life Of Brian Mujati haha okay, I bet your mate Soane would be up there...
I love how he's so enthusiastic about what he does and genuinely loves it
This has to be the longest fitness video I've watched without being bored. Glass is an OG 💯
Super Negro Fitness Atta boy, get that knowledge
Cristian Smistad lmao
Aren't you the dude that unsubscribed?Cristian Smistad
None. Its Charles Glass baby the trainer of champions.
Always blows my mind learning
Charles Glass is so old school, I feel like he stayed in the pumping iron era. Great watch.
Trained with Charles Glass about 21 years ago. Still use the information today... Great guy with amazing insight and teaching method that makes you better for every lift you ever do. Definitely an icon in BB. We are lucky to have him as part of this lifestyle!
Apparently everyone in the comment section is either a highly competitive bodybuilder/hypertrophy expert/successful bodybuilding coach with over three decades experience. That said, this was some great content, Mark. Charles is a technician.
Lol very true
Hahahah
No you just need some basic reading comprehension skills and the ability to do some google searches to know this shit is bs.
LeoB_VT_13 lol yeah everyone thinks there experts from google 😉
Am I an expert in astronomy if I say the Earth revolves around the sun? It's called common sense from easily accessible immutable fact idiot.
That's the benefit of living in the age of knowledge. We don't need to live in ignorance.
Charles Glass is such a cool dude , he calms you down and keeps you motivated in same time
Just over 30 minutes long and I still didn't think it was long enough, great video.
what a great opportunity to train with the trainer of trainers
Amen
supertraining06 _
Thoroughly enjoyed every piece of advice from the OG
Love this video, the inner chest dumbell movement - never seen it before. Will definitely incorporate that!
What a cool guy charles is!
On the subject of power lifting as a base, back in the golden era they were all in to power lifting as well as bodybuilding so there's no surprise to hear that from Charles.
MAD RESPECT FOR PUTTING THE WEIGHTS AWAY!!!
He is like an old sage full with acient wisdom
I agggreeee!
ancient bullshit
Bodybuilding Yoda lmao
Mr. Glass's outlook is so different and positive. This guy is amazing! Great video.
I love how there's video of Charles in there in 1993 training Flex Wheeler in preparation for the 93' Olympia & he's still in there 22 years later just as enthusiastic showing anybody how to train. Guy has trained the who's who in the IFBB & doesn't seem to let that get to his head...unlike some other "gurus". Good guy with a passion
The man is a legend and nice to see him treated with the respect he deserves well done.
I love how well spoken you and Mike both are Mark. You ask great questions and just talk in a polite, respectful and well enunciated manner. Awesome video keep up the training session videos we love them.
Mr Glass id genuine about his coaching, love the man! his enthusiasm is contagious, I'm hauling my ass to the gym after watching, excellent informative lesson.
Never got bored the entire video, just walked through it in one sip. Glass is amazing!
Always love watching Charles Glass impart his wisdom in the bodybuilding and fitness areas. Great video ... taught me a lot!
This was one of the more enjoyable bodybuilding videos to watch. These guys showed respect to Charles Glass that he deserves and actually listened to his advice unlike some of the other characters posting their videos with him.
i like how Charles keeps the conversation going while keeping mind of the time..he's like go go go! :)
Love it. Bell really knows his stuff but it is great to see that he is still open to learning from a legend such as Glass.
Thanks you Mark Bell for this. Charles is a class act and so are you!!
Charles is always wearing a smile :)
I notice that all the best coaches, advice givers are great by how they explain things. Whether it is life advice, money, fitness, relationships, the most helpful people always leave you hanging on their every word!!
this was amazing to seee charles have fun and coach you guys, also mikes push sound is like yoshi lol
Haha
i'm also pretty sure at the end of the set there must be at least a little jizz in his pants
supertraining06 Mark could you do a workout with Mike O Hearn?

This is how your spotter should be! like charles in your face, with you step by step, giving you motivation with words, helping when needed, touching the muscle to build mind and muscle connection, correcting form.. Yea i respect Charles alot!
Charles Glass and The trainer of champions...a true legend!! thanks for the video!!
"When I come in, whatevers open, I start" great advice. Just do it with whatever you got

One of the best training sessions i have seen in a long time. You can see in his eyes how much pride he takes in what he does.
Hoping to see a back training session with the famous CHARLES GLASS!!!
Great vid guys
GREAT video, hands down one of the best videos I've seen in all of UA-cam fitness. What an interesting brain.
love this guy! I would love to have this wisdom and positive energy around.
l learned so much in this video right here in the first 10 mins that i think i learned in my first year of bodybuilding training. Glass u rock man!!!
Really a fun and informative video. I love Charles Glass personality. I see personal trainers in the gym where I workout looking at their phones instead of paying attention to their paying customers. Drives me crazy.
I would love to just pick this man's brain. That's type of knowledge can be read in a book. Thanks Mark and Silent Mike for sharing
Thank you
Great video. Awesome to see pros like you guys being open minded with Charles. I would love to workout with Charles. He has such great passion and energy.
I was in LA this week and I got to train at Golds Venice. First I thought the $40 day fee was expensive but at the end of my workout it was way worth it I did see Charles there training. It was an Awesome time
A nice man full of wisdom and genuine love for a sport. He shares his knowledge and experience. Way more than many of us on here have. Yet there will always be know it all's that think they know it all.

Please keep the content rolling!
I dont go to the gym at all but wow its so fascinating to listen to that coach very calming to listen to him
this was gold just seeing him correcting posture and positioning in these machines and movements as well as controlling tempo/concentration.
It's weird seeing the term Bro Science in the comments as pejorative when we're really talking about experience, and here we see a guy working with two different bodies and he just knows what needs to happen; most people can't even figure out what works for them, let alone someone else.
Great video guy's. Keep it up! I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos.
dude in the background at 23:12...monster
Charles Glass is the Einstein of building the human body. He really really in my opinion knows how to. Thanks Charles.
So awesome! I’m trying all this today 💪
Every gym needs a #CharlesGlass . such a nice, willing and passionate man.
Charles Glass was one of my childhood heroes when I was trying to be a bodybuilder, now as an adult he is one of my heroes as a trainer.
I've been a big Charles Glass fan since I saw him train flex wheeler in hardbody! Thats an amazing video for any Flex Wheeler, and Charles Glass fans. One day, if I should be so lucky. I'd love to train for a week with the great Charles Glass.
Charles Glass appreciates being appreciated 💯💯💯💯💯 I guess that's called humble
Thanks for the video
I love that man..I have been telling people to drop the seat and put the bum forward on the machine. to hit the upper outer chest more. and you doing it just proves my point
valuable content . Learnt a lot through this video . Will definitely incorporate these movements in my next workout . Thanks Mark for this valuable piece of content .
men such an honor that would be,just getting advice from Charles, such an honor
To all the people crying "Bro-scienceeeeee!!"
Bret Contreras literally published a study using EMG readings that showed that muscle fibers are not uniformly stimulated throughout their entire length on any exercise. And that, in fact, different exercises do stimulate different parts of a muscle fibers length to varying degrees. So yes, you can "hit" certain parts of a muscle e.g. "inner chest" "lower bicep" more or less using specific exercises.
wow 550 @ 191??? big ups to mr. glass that's fucking crazy
he said 500 but still thats impressive
Hes fucking bullshitting. You're gullible and stupid enough to believe him.
+Matt Lifts well considering the record is set in the late 80s and is at 565lbs it's not hard to believe.
Favorite UA-cam Channel! Love these videos. You guys seriously are doing a fantastic job! Keep it up. The comments are spilt and I understand why, but the man is a legend.
Interesting and educational content as always, keep it up Mark!
Really experienced and humble man. The best combination.
"Das it" - Glass
Das it mane

Mr. Glass showed me how to properly train my shoulders, very knowledgeable fella.
Mr. Charles Glass.....man, what an experience !! awesome vid guys !!
I'd love to have this guy as my trainer lol, his voice is very calming as well.
It's amazing how he can just get you to adjust how you sit, and bang, the pecs are hit in a visibly different way. Very cool.
Guys great stuff Charles is awesome just some old school golden era bro-science we love. Those dudes never tracked cals, they ate watched carbs if they got fat and increased cardio. Kept it simple.
Charles is amazing. You two are great! Nice video! The sling shot is awesome. Just a great video!
"Actually it's 10 reps and lower. In the beginning of the bodybuilding what we try and do is build. You're not going to build by doing repetitions; that's tightening you up more. So I go 10, then maybe 8, then we do our power pushes which is maybe 1 or 2 reps." - Charles Glass the most knowledgeable bodybuilding coach in history lololol
Charles Glass looks like an awesome dude !
I love the respect factor you guys have in this vid, because some of his methods are very broscience. But hes Charles Glass! Awesome guys.
Charles Glass = Gold. Not to sound too egotistical. But alot of the philosophical weightlifting principles that the God Mr.Charles teaches. I've subconsciously learned, and done them myself. I.e. arching the back, bringing out the hips on the Incline Hammer etc. Mr.Charles is class personified.
Just a wealth of knowledge, Mr. Glass is
God I love the internet ! Thank you Mr. Glass for this priceless tutorial.
Charles "Yoda of weight training" Glass- Charles has Stephen Hawkins knowledge of how to train. As Stephen is to physics, Charles is to weight lifting. The man's knowledge is immense and all the weight training certification courses online or brick/mortar school; Charles can teach at any level of these courses. One of the great trainers, I look at him like Micky in Rocky 1,2,3, as a great motivator, coach an dtrainer of champions. Your one in a million Charles, and definitely have an honors PHD. in how to lift, train, bodybuild, powerlift and strength train...Keep- a- going Charles! I hope you pass your knowledge on, Master Glass:).
Charles is a legend and was a great bodybuilder in his day
I'm new to lifting and from the looks of the guy and not knowing who is is After seeing this video he is so awesome and knows his stuff and anyone would be blessed to train with him. I feel like I learned a lot from him already
