    Wow! I started off the video at 1.5 speed thinking that it will be mostly useless. But here I am commenting about the usefulness of this video because I had to pause the video at normal speed and go back at times to gain the insight that Mr. Glass had to offer. Also a special thanks to Mr. Bell for asking relevant questions.

    • @Trenacetate43
      @Trenacetate43 6 років тому +9

      It is not bro science dumbass. Keep doing it and you might get injured as you age. So many gym newbies are obsessed with full range of motion. Tell you what, full range of motion doesn't mean using momentum by bouncing the bar of your chest and locking up your joints till you can move up anymore.

    • @raffaelecorrente1123

      Steven Diahy, I'm sure you are one of that shitty guy, thinking to have a scientific approach, while you know nothing and you look like crap!

    • @fatboitino2
      @fatboitino2 6 років тому

      Steven Diahy he said as you get older, but he also said he does not have clients use partial range of motion. That means, simply - you have to lower the weight because heavy weight on the lockout will beat up your joints. And you have to utilize more machines. Simple

    There is an exercise i do ,I call them laying bar rows. I read in a magazine that Charles Glass was training someone in the gym they were working at didn't have the machine he wanted. So, what he did was take a decline bench and place the inclined part on a flat bench with a bar underneath. He would adjust the decline bench adjustment to the angle to have his client do rows with a pronated grip and a reverse grip rows with the bar. i've used this in and out of my workouts for years. I like this man ideology when it comes to how to workout as far as bodybuilding goes. Smart and classy man. Legend.

    People overuse the word "bro-science". Scientific studies don't test all body types and insertions. What works well for one guy may not work well for another and sometimes all you're missing is just changing up your workout.

    Love Charles glass and his knowledge, but his method of internally rotating the arm inwards while doing lateral raises is absolutely terrifying to see. Charles talks about longevity and having good lower back, doing this and that for joints by not not locking out and etc. But at the same time he's crushing his shoulder capsule. Does that seem right ?
