I was hoping you would have talked about the check balls in the valve body @34:36 I'm concerned that there are the crrect check balls in their proper location on the VB side and the CA side of the valve body plate.

one question . on the servo clearance. can i just use a cheater spring inside the assembly? just to make it easier to compress?
and did you use the servo seals during the check?

No problem! It's fun to do. I assume you're talking about checking the servo assembly without the special tool and just prying on the cover when installing it. You could use a cheater spring, just be sure that you don't forget to put the correct one in :). I had the servo seals installed because I wasn't planning on taking it back out after I installed it, since it checked out fine.
to measure servo pin travel, with everything assembled, get u an old servo cover, grind the middle part out, then reinstall it. you can them take a screwdriver and push the servo pin in, and see how far it travel to engage the band.

I installed the after market case saver. Will misinstallation case a 3-2 downshift shudder?
It shouldn’t. The case saver is to prevent the case from getting beat up in the 2-1 or 3-1 downshift. Was anything else done to it?
@@siuautomotive 2007 Chevy Suburban 4l60e rebuild. No mods other than the aftermarket case saver. Getting a down shift shudder to 1st. No codes
That’s odd, because the only thing that happens during the 2-1 downshift is the band releases and the one-way roller holds.
@@siuautomotive Put it on the lift , got it to 4th ,then slowed down to down shift. got to 20 mph and the shudder started. end up being the passenger side motor mount, Sir. Thank you for your help, Sir
