If you think about it... We once get the set. We start testing new builds and go hunting more often the creatures... Just for fun or because we want revenge from a monster that kill us before a lot of times. We practically become more agresive.
Is this like a sam rami situation where u can resist it and maybe even become stronger because by resisting it's influence it cant regenerate so therefor you "killed" it?
White fatalis in contradiction sounds way more pacific As not in spite of or living in grudge of humanity Considering that white fatalis is most likely the oldest of the old fatalis that existed, possibly during the War era between the ancient civilization and elder dragons The armor set pretty much stated that white fatalis is probably past that grudge however still harbors hate towards human kind
The giant Fatalis GS in MHFU is actually growing and "living" that's why the player can mine it by using an elder dragon bone pick axe to craft Black Sword and Black Blade that later can be upgraded into Fatalis weapon set.
It's quite interesting how after "death" Fatalis is able to achieve the exact same enlightenment as Shara. Its weapons and I think one of the helmets too look directly at the camera. At you, the player on the sofa/bed/chair playing the game. Only after his body had been reforged is he given the ability to see beyond, but he's not allowed to cross, sealed away as armour and weapons.
Depending on the source of legend (we can look into Frontier games here too), they are believed to assimilate hunters to their body. The heat from its chest like we see on its pin attack is not strong enough to burn hunters to ash, so it has a level of control over its heat, however if a hunter persists and struggles, it will forcibly remove the hunter and slay them first, then try again
Well anyway meat will rott away, and Smitty wouldn't craft rotten meat in, which isn't even possible. (Meat can't be molten.) Just to make it realistic. (And if Smitty would find some human bones, he wouldn't think "awesome, lets craft it in, it'l make a better armor")
I'm only seeing this the first time when looking up fatalis and in conclusion I believe wearing the full set of the Fatalis armor transforms you into a new Fatalis
I'm a little freaked out now. A few days ago I joined my friend's guiding lands and I wore the fatalis armor. I wasn't even in there for that long, but my health/stamina lowered over time. Even after eating and dying it never went up to 200 like it should've been, but on my friend's screen he said nothing was happening. I had to leave the guiding lands just to regain the true stats. So either I was misreading the stats or fatalis was mindfucking me the whole time😭😭😭
It has been confirmed in the lore that fatalis has rapid cell regeneration. That’s why the hunters actually turn into a fatalis. Fatalis grows over them and is the same fatalis you have killed before with the same memory. That’s why he possesses your body.
@@fatpigeon7422 I did hear about that lore, but what I didn't know is that it's the same fatalis! I thought it was the hunter that became a fatalis that's not the same fatalis that was slain
@@MrLOUTER94 well, if you think about it. It’s the same body parts that were put on the armor. Like the scales, so it would make sense. More likely than not making it the same fatalis that was killed
@@fatpigeon7422 Retention of memories is impossible after destruction of the brain, let me explain: Memories are created by neurons linking together to generate specific impulse sequences. These sequences are formed throughout one's life experience, not from genetic dispositions. Therefor if Fatalis were to regenerate, a new brain would be formed based on its cell's DNA, wiping the slate clean. DNA can't hold memories. However if Fatalis were to somehow fuse with and subdue the natural immune response, it would have access to an existing brain; the Hunter's brain. It could alter the chemistry of the brain inducing visual and auditory halucinations. Obviously in such a scenario Fatalis would possess the Hunter's memories.
I once heard a monster scream in the old forest wearing full Fatalis Armor. But no monster to see. Did a azure Rathalos scream in his nest or was it the helmet?
This has happened to me in Guiding Lands, the freakest one happened when I was at the camp and a monster roar came all of a sudden out of nowhere. But all of them happened way before the Fatalis update so is not because of the armor, sadly
If both raths are in the locale, then they will give out a unique call to aid each other. This also applies to the hoarfrost reach roar which is from a shrieking legiana calling for another.
@Brian Quijada At the beginning of the quest if there is an invader monster you'll hear it's roar automatically right after the *Warning* sign shows up on your screen with sharp teeth biting the word *Warning* like in Monster Hunter Frontier against a certain dangerous monsters. It can happen in older titles like Generations where you can hear monster roar off the area you're close to.

This is a really cool video as I never knew about the little armor descriptions in monster hunter, but I started to looking into the other armors and I dont think theyrr cannon as nergi armor says it consumes the wearer's soul, and odo armor makes its wearer insane, which pretty big for being a mid tier monster and so I looked at all the monsters that are meant to be scary or dark, like deviljho, Alatreon and etc, and they have oddly similar descriptions which were about how the armor corrupts the wearer in some way, then I looked into other armor descriptions, and once you get into like elder dragons and some mid tier monsters they just go crazy, like teo's armor holding a soul within it. So what is your view on how cannon all these armor descriptions are, which is what I'm curious about
@@SarazenX yes, I know that they are cannon, but in what way, is it word for word, or is it more like a lore thing about the monster more so the armor, or myths about the armor, so the questions is not if they're cannon, as they could be just words the blacksmith tells you about the armor which would mean they are cannon but if we should take there words as fact, which I doubt due to the over thr top and supernatural elements in some of these descriptions, kinda likw the pokedexs in pokemon which are over the top some times and make no sense some times and are contradictory some times too, but this is different since its just armor we dont have anything to go off of besides the skills given and the set bonuse plus the monster it comes from, like nergi's super recovery is tied to the fact it can regenerate but how does that have anything to do with it devouring the soul of the wearer
@@pizzamozzarella9786 What the game describes it as is what it is. The only reason we don't see any of its effects is because the game doesn't focus on story or narrative, it's mostly gameplay focused. It's as vague with lore as the Soulsborne series is, if not more.
@@SarazenX i do know that the lore of monster hunter is vague with most other information about the story and the world works as a whole, but because some of these armor descriptions are simply too over the top to be believable within the lore of monster hunter as it is, all I think is that these armor descriptions are too weak of evidence to say something as fact mostly due to 2 reasons, 1 as I said before other armor pieces are over the top and supernatural for the world of monster hunter and 2 that we don't really know where the armor descriptions come from, unlike other items wirh descriptions like monster parts which is easy to assume that the description came from researchers, so we have little reason to doubt these claims, but because it's just text in the armor menu I dont think we should take it as truth as its too weak to support itself, it needs more to prove what it is saying like the whole rumor that fatalis melts hunters to himself, which due to, the palico, pectus description and the pin attack is proven that as fact but if it was just one of those things then it would be hard to say, and you have to consider that how iceborne set up the story behind the fatalis fight, your hunter is the first one to kill it in cannon, so that means this would be the first time fatalis armor would be made in cannon, so where did these rumors come from, I understand that it was from the older games but my point still stands, we don't know where these armor descriptions come from so we shouldn't hold it as truth
@@SarazenX They are canon but not facts. Monster hunter isn't darksouls. Armor descriptions in monster hunter are just legends, myths. Monster hunter doesn't have supernatural stuff in the lore and gameplay at all.

I have a theory about fatalis being a secret bio-weapon gone wrong created by the civilization for the dragon war. Being part human part animal because the way how he is. He doesn’t go by instinct like other animals do. He uses strategy when fighting and he stands mostly on his hind legs like a human does. And the attack of the kingdom that I found online first happened in the middle of the kingdom. Which doesn’t make sense cause how can a big dragon can just sneak in the middle of the kingdom. It makes sense if you piece it all together. If they could make the equal dragon weapon and use animal parts to make weapons then they could make a living creature. And the main reason I think it’s mad because it’s a monster. The mind of many people the was experimented on is still there and it’s mad on what it became, making it destroying the whole civilization. I think it also take multiple people wearing the armor to turn into a full fatalis and not just one. That’s basically my theory and let me know what you think.
You didn’t mention fact, the weapons have his eye in them, and no matter what you do or where you go, or look, the eye follows the hunter.. watching them, taunting them, and never letting them rest.. the weapons ARE ALIVE He follows the cameras every move
I ran into an online person in mh4u with full fatalis armor. That person is an LR 1 hunter with a very high amount of bloodthirst to the point he will jump ahead with his insect glaive without symphaty to himself. He carted thrice against a Tetsucabara, and I left due to how much of a horror it is to be near to someone who wears Fatalis armor. In short, the curse of Fatalis armor is real.
I think there should be a system for the Fatalis armor where the more hunts we use complete with the armor on we start to look like Fatalis, with scales, a tail and such, some Draconic qualities with out character
I think the armor descriptions are just there to give a narrative reason for end game farming and fashion hunting. And at one point it said that the hunter who wore the armor vanished, kinda like how we just stop playing the game after a while
blacksmith:if you use these armor you will get powerful power but dont wear it to much or this armor will take your life me:idc,im farming for this, just do your job.
It would be great if the armor have a curse like dragon dogma and slowly turning the hunter into a fatalis like a lich a person what chose abadon their humanity for imortality and power
It is said that Fatalis can regenerate from a single scale. If this, like most of the other legends surrounding it are true, it does beg the question of whether it is technically killable with technology available to hunters. 😐
No we are worse. Slaying down an entire ecosystem just to get stronger to even slay faster and more. Imagine someone slaying down your family, making a weapon and armor from their body parts and then killing you with it.
I was just remembering my relative who've beaten and collected Fatalis Set back in 2014 on my PSP in MHFU who've died in 2015, few months after doing it.
Screw lore imma turn into a fatalis then survive and get old and turn white and gain power over lightning and mix it with dragon element and learn to use the move apocalypse and hit so hard I one shot thru you and your carts! And at the end of it all. The very end. My legend will be "Did you see his hair and beard? It was an honor t ok be in his presence. Then he beat my ass into my face."
I heard a theory or story where the amor if worn long enough does what you said to the hunter but eventually they’ll disappear and that hunter will turn into a Fatalis.

Do let us know if there's any changes! The localisation teams for the game can take their own twists on these things sometimes!
@@ChronoPinoyX well this time I think they decided to translate it perfectly because there isn't that much change in French
This makes Fatalis sound like an Ahamkara.
Riven would like to know your location
White fatalis in contradiction sounds way more pacific
As not in spite of or living in grudge of humanity
Considering that white fatalis is most likely the oldest of the old fatalis that existed, possibly during the War era between the ancient civilization and elder dragons
The armor set pretty much stated that white fatalis is probably past that grudge however still harbors hate towards human kind
The giant Fatalis GS in MHFU is actually growing and "living" that's why the player can mine it by using an elder dragon bone pick axe to craft Black Sword and Black Blade that later can be upgraded into Fatalis weapon set.
So the Berserk armor is just made of fatalis scales... I see why the bearer of the armor has that uncontrollable rage and lack of selfaware...
hmmm, a black armor that grand wearer a strength and also drive them mad... sound familiar.
The berserker armor from berserk
The description of modded fatalis armor says it causes my hunter to be sexy
Depending on who you ask, some dragons are sexy.
The Fatalis possession is a whole-ass skill in Frontier.
Question, I remember it's said somewhere that Fatalis melts hunters to its body/scales....so are you technically wearing other humans too?
Not exactly, just parts of their armor (thats the reason for all skill secrets, probably).
The bodies just burn to ash.
Chrono Pinoy X ah thanks 👌
Well anyway meat will rott away, and Smitty wouldn't craft rotten meat in, which isn't even possible. (Meat can't be molten.) Just to make it realistic.
(And if Smitty would find some human bones, he wouldn't think "awesome, lets craft it in, it'l make a better armor")
@@painshirayuki290
The Fatalis armor lore description motivates me to craft that armor even more!
The moment a Hunter crafts Fatalis weapon and/or weapon they guarantee his return. YOU are Fatalis.
So either I was misreading the stats or fatalis was mindfucking me the whole time😭😭😭
does this also confirm that hes immortal? the fact that his armor torments you
Immortality hasn't been proven at this moment. All we know is that the armor is cursed and that Fatalis still holds influence even in death
@@fatpigeon7422 Retention of memories is impossible after destruction of the brain, let me explain:
Memories are created by neurons linking together to generate specific impulse sequences.
@Brian Quijada
At the beginning of the quest if there is an invader monster you'll hear it's roar automatically right after the *Warning* sign shows up on your screen with sharp teeth biting the word *Warning* like in Monster Hunter Frontier against a certain dangerous monsters.
It can happen in older titles like Generations where you can hear monster roar off the area you're close to.
@@aliultimate009 the gane doesn't warn you that there is an invader
@@grenouillesupreme Actually it does if you play the village quest against a certain monsters if it was your first time encountering the monster, and i don't want to spoil it.
Something that would definitely be terrifying would be if wearing the fatalis armor turned the wearer into fatalis.
So what is your view on how cannon all these armor descriptions are, which is what I'm curious about
They are canon. Everything that is part of the actual game is canon
They said in MHFU that some hunters wearing Fatalis set went missing and never heard again , others has started to see their arm transforms into something similar to Fatalis' . It is also rumored that you become the Fatalis just by wearing the armor set for too long.
That would add more sense to the fact that the Fatalis that we slayed in iceborne was possibly our hunter from the previous mh installment.
@@X490-e1u Or this Fatalis we fought in Iceborne could be the same one we fought in MH1 , Commander said our hunters died horribly in the past , we won in the game but not in the lore . F
So, this armor set gives hunters a mental break down. Funny story, one of my friend never got this armor set, and still haven't to this day. He's acting pretty similar to the armor set's description when ever we hunt Fatalis. Coincident? I think not
Worry not. He's doing well now, his temper is just way too short
That's why all the best hunters of each generation are missing .... All of them used the fatalis armor and perish giving birth to the next fatalis and continue the cycle
People are talking about this when everyone forgets alatreon's greatsword description alatreon does the same thing except even more directly stated than loosely implied.
He stands on hind legs to mock humans
The Berserker armor in Monster Hunter.
In another words:
You don't hunt Fatalis, you survive it.
There’s armor that grows around the hunter eventually swallowing them in the armor forever.
You didn’t mention fact, the weapons have his eye in them, and no matter what you do or where you go, or look, the eye follows the hunter.. watching them, taunting them, and never letting them rest.. the weapons ARE ALIVE
He follows the cameras every move
And at one point it said that the hunter who wore the armor vanished, kinda like how we just stop playing the game after a while
So if you wore the fatalis armor and the hunger sword from dauntless. You would be the most terrifying hunter in the universe?
I won't be over taken! I'll wear this 2 times a week.
Wish he'd talk about the old fatalis description and how hunters went missing
gonna have to be honest, i didnt even know there was a description and i played since base game XD
Imagine hearing random fatalis roars. While fighting another fatalis.
palico armor also has some lore too. about disappearing to never be seen again.
I shit you not handler

I think the player hunter is the only one that could wear since lorewise they're just built different
blacksmith:if you use these armor you will get powerful power but dont wear it to much or this armor will take your life

Did fatalis already take over our hunter and we are playing as the fatalis we hunted? :o
It would be great if the armor have a curse like dragon dogma and slowly turning the hunter into a fatalis like a lich a person what chose abadon their humanity for imortality and power
Ayo this is neat but when we gonna get videos on Maxi Boost ON?
So is it canon that Fatalis is dead? If so, how will that affect the ecosystem/hierarchy?
There are many fatalis
Old lore says if a Hunter wears the armour of a Fatalis for too long will slowly become a Fatalis themselves after being driven to insanity.
NoxWyvern I was wondering about that also
It is said that Fatalis can regenerate from a single scale. If this, like most of the other legends surrounding it are true, it does beg the question of whether it is technically killable with technology available to hunters. 😐
@@Phantarch This also extends to Dire Miralis, who can regrow from only its heart.

Not just armor, his weapons too
Fatalis gs in pokke farm, they fucking grows

Yes, from a single scaled Fatalis of one of your armor set, you'll be fatalis.

I might die or never sleep again... But it have three 4 slot deco, and truckload of defense, soo..........
The story is true. All my friend who have this armor are dissapear. They went offline like 3 years ago and never comeback. Where are you guys?
Screw lore imma turn into a fatalis then survive and get old and turn white and gain power over lightning and mix it with dragon element and learn to use the move apocalypse and hit so hard I one shot thru you and your carts! And at the end of it all. The very end. My legend will be "Did you see his hair and beard? It was an honor t ok be in his presence. Then he beat my ass into my face."

I won't be wearing this cursed armor.
I gave up on Fatalis.

Very nice
Hi everyone do you see the helmet part the faithless didn't move
That was lag mostly, the host had a really bad lag causing Fatalis to freeze on certain moments
initially i thought after fatalist hunt i will be idle & play casually.but noooo...rip & tear.
*looking at rajang*
and the hunter is already possessed by Us making them do some embarrassing shit wearing embarrassing shit making them hunt none stop Etc
I heard a theory or story where the amor if worn long enough does what you said to the hunter but eventually they’ll disappear and that hunter will turn into a Fatalis.
we are fatalis
I wonder if it could also be another element of the punishment imposed on human and wyverians for their ancestor’s crimes against nature in the ancient times.
