It was truly an HONOR to see and HEAR Ms. Warwick!! Thanks so much Tiffany!!!
Wonderful conconversation! Tiffany so good to be able to see and hear you again! It's nice to have the generational discussions with black women about life and I think this podcast was needed.
Congrats Tiffany on your new podcast!!! 🙌🏾👏🏾🎉 I just added your show along with Native Land Pod to "my favs" playlist. I've watched you grow starting with your show on MSNBC, and I am sooo proud of you! 🌹 Great conversation between three generations of black queens!!! 🌹👑💖
Tiffany and Mrs.Warwick and Mz. Prosecutor Ashley, you each are a gift to the community. Thank you for this conversation
I love seeing Black Women on this Podcast. Dionne is keeping up with social media. She’s a strong woman with a successful career in entertainment. She reminds me of my single mom with her strength and grace.
Great conversation! Ms. Warwick reminds me so much of the women in my family. She's so wise.
Appreciate the authenticity and transparency. So good to see you in your element Tiffany!! I wish you nothing but the best. Congratulations.
Amazing conversation with these Queens from different generations.♥️♥️♥️👑👑👑
I’m watching Tiffany Cross for the first time on this channel. You are an amazing Journalist Tiffany! Keep up the good work!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Loved this.. i could have listened all day.. dionne... who knew.. love her!.. so glad she is showing up.. loved the way she reflected on her grandfather and dad... the way she talks reminds me of my grandma... appreciated all the wisdom she had to share.. especially about Corey. Had no idea he was like that.. He needs therapy..
A much needed podcast, which bridges the gap between generations. Lovely to hear Mama Dionne’s wisdom!
GOOD conversation Ladies!!!
Everything about this!! We luv you Tiffany 🤎👏🏽
Maybe a part two should be done with Ms. Warwick talking to men. I think all men have it in them to be gentleman but today most just don't want to. I believe in hope tho😊
I haven't heard a single thing black women have to do, only what black men aren't doing.
Earning chivalry is crazy
Congratulations, Tiffany 🎉🎉 . This was an excellent conversation. May God continue to bless you 🙏
Ms. Warwick is a wise exceptional woman! Muscles and minds grow stronger through utilization. Women have grown strong due to the absence of contributions from we men, yesterday and today. Ms. Cross, what are the colors of your microphone boom arm, your hair, your boots and your skin? Did our ancestors, thousands of years ago, call themselves their skin tone? Who started calling us "black"? Why? Are all hair textures, skin tones, and features found in our diverse genes? The Continent's inhabitants are the most diverse people on Planet Earth. Confusion is a big problem in our community.
A podcast worth listening to. These topics and discussions are on point
This was such a great conversation! I really enjoy this format.
Earning chivalry is crazy, but earning respect is not???
What I mean is.... there is a certain level of respect that you should have for someone just off gp..........& there's a another additional level of respect that you should have for the person who you're with. That you shouldn't have to earn. Just the same as chivalry
Thank you Tiffany! This was an AMAZING conversation ❤
Great conversation and I would love to have Ms. Warrick on monthly!!
How I loved this episode!! Thank you, Tiffany!
Congratulations!! Excellent podcast Tiffany 🎉🔥
I have to say growing up without my father present I never knew a man walked on the outside. I didn't have the example of men being protectors or providers. That was my mother and unfortunately it has made it very challenging for me in a marriage.
What a great conversation! Having a generational conversation that is formatted this way is gold bringing it to the masses. Subscribed!!
Great conversation. Thanks, Tiffany. ❤
I loved this!
Love the three generations!
Love this show. ❤❤
Congratulations. I really enjoyed this discussion. What a wonderful concept. Keep being great Tiffany. No one can take what God has for you.
Dionne was on Point on Men that you just move on and you don’t look back. 1981.
Extraordinary
Great podcast. The older generation of men have failed to pass values of respect, love, humility, protection integrity to the young people. We need sessions of youth empowerment starting at 14 yrs. Meru tribe in Kenya is a transition from childhood to adulthood. Where values are instilled. We are a village and look out for each other.
Congratulations 🎊🎊🔥 Tiffany 🙌 🙌🙌
Awesome. I really related to how we as women should act when we have a larger income. It’s challenging. While I went to college and took training so I could earn a higher wage, I never thought my increase in salary would impact my husband.
A balanced male perspective would have added to the conversation
@njc9776 this is so refreshing to hear from a woman. Thank you!!🙏🏿
Ashley‘s experience with her brothers and other men in her life was somewhat tragic. I thought that it was misleading to advise her to continue to give and pursue the men in her life who would let her down without restriction in the hope of one day being acknowledged Loved seen and heard. Also, I understand Miss Warwick’s advice coming from her generation.
Great comment and I agree.
This was beautiful! Black men are the bomb!!!
I love how this conversation started, with Ms. Warrick educating these young ladies on how things used to be. Then things took a turn. It is very interesting that they attempted to call the conversation bridging the gap, but rarely are they using positive examples of black males. Outside of Will Packer rarely to did they talk of black men in a positive light. Also there was very little self-accountability. No solutions given. Maybe next time invite on of these men you disparaged on the show and the. try to bridge the gap. Rather than just talking about them, how about trying to talk to them.
I agree that these men should have a chance to address what they've said. Perhaps they should even take back or maybe apologize if it's in their heart to do so. Maybe this can be a topic for another podcast. However many of the disparaging things that the men said were documented on social media so I respectfully disagree that the men were disparaged in any way by Ms. Cross, Ms. Warwick and Ms. Foote.
@@hotmama298 I do believe that the way to bridge a gap is by one party disparaging another. I heard no solutions what so ever. Much less personal responsibility and what the host felt they can do better, save for the illustrious Ms. Warwick. This is just another one sided Podcast. It is disappointing because the caliber of journalist Ms. Cross is I would expect a more nuanced and balanced conversation. Until she gets to that point discussing the topic is fruitless. I would be curious how Ms. Foote and Cross would respond to having some real men on the panel.
Black women can have as many discussions on the subject as they'd like.
If black men aren't going to do the work required ....What's the point.
It's always Jermaine fault huh
I am so disappointed with this discussion. The toxicity runs deep in the older generation. Telling a young woman who is already pouring into her degenerate male family members to be more nurturing is wild
Agreed. The root problem is a lot of Mothers say they raise their daughters and love their sons.
You're Jamaican not a black American
1:10 Dionne Warwick coughing
Remember you're strong and independent and don't need no Man
Great show Tiffany! And OMG! That clip of Corey H expressing how he talks to his daughter is disgusting! He got the nerve to put God in it saying he was blessed with some switch. Really? Like Dionne said, I feel sorry for him. Prayers going up for his daughter and him.
13:30 yall scream from the mountain top about being strong and independent but now you're complaining about it?
Didn’t take long for the uncles to report to the comments. Y’all are so weird.
Ashley Foote complains about having to earn chivalry but in the same breath says men haven’t earned the right to change their wife’s last name. She embodies the treatment she receives.
I disagree with Tiffany to say if a man walks in front of you That means he’s not a protector. For many men, the idea of being in front of a woman means they will be willing to take the impact of whatever comes their way. In addition, if a man is a leader it kind of symbolizes that by him walking in front and leading her by the hand.
Q: who are you protecting if you're walking in front and cannot see the woman behind you? If you're willing to take whatever comes, shouldn't you be in a position to be aware of what's coming?
As a child, both my mother and father would walk with me next to them, but with me on the inside so if anything came at us, it would hit them first. That always made me feel protected and I always judged men by that standard.
@@TraceyJean right, which is reasonable but that’s a scenario with two people. Danger can come from anywhere; in front of you, behind you, beside you. Some men feel like by being in front and leading her by the hand is his way of being on the “front line” and in harms way if it were to come to that. Ultimately, I’m not saying that you have to be in the front or behind her, I’m saying just because he’s walking in front is not indicative of if he’s a protector or not.
@@rondotrucking9866 I hear you, but this is what my parents did when they walked with me alone. Obviously when it was both, I was in the middle. And you're right, danger can come from anywhere, but if a man walks ahead of me, he will turn around and find me gone. 😆
@@TraceyJean lol well that’s unfortunate. Appreciate the dialogue though
How do you have a discussion about "BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN BLACK MEN & WOMEN," with"NO BLACK MEN" in the discussion? OOPS??? SMH....I LOVE MY BLACK WOMEN, but WOW, you talk too much & never even listen to yourselves?
Exactly!! Complete context is everything.
Beautiful Queens, great conversation. Nice seeing you back doing your thing Sis. Missed you on tv & our Family IG Live witcha ya boy Jason on Saturday mornings. Best of Luck to you Queen. Love you 👑💃🏿✨️
