My god your game looks great! Care to share basic stats of your machine? Achieving a Morrowind experience similar to this is something I'd definitely be interested in...
He likely won't make his list a modpack, but you can achieve a very similar look by downloading some of the mods from his list. It's long, but most of them are small texture replacers. The shaders are the main thing making the game look so good, install those along with some mesh replacers and a texture pack and you're good.
Thanks for the video brother enjoyed the watch. One day I'm going to have to mod this damn game but I always say "Wait for more progress to be made on TR,PT and OpenMO" plus sitting down and learning to get 400+ mods to work I have a lot to learn lol
Appreciate the comment. TR is in a very good place already. As of the most recent release it has more content (in terms of quests) than Oblivion and Skyrim combined. So does vanilla Morrowind, but that's the cost of voice acting.
@@MizterMoonshine No problem brother! Oh I know I keep tab's on them all I guess I'm making excuses for hitting the gym and MMA training BUT over all the state of the projects are leagues ahead so yeah mostly down to me trying to find time.
Невероятное преображение игры 20 летней давности, респект автору за колоссальный труд! Надеюсь этот идеальный Morrowind будет доступен в виде сборки или коллекции.
Nice. Love Morrowind, I play this game when I’m in the mood for reading, it often gives me a visual book like experience. The graphics are great, I wonder if there are mods out there to fix the stiff looking 3rd person movement
Hello Mw moonshine, great video, amazing morrowind. How did you make the shadows so soft? I have been messing around with zesterer's shaders and the Shadow_fragment.gsl file is there, I am just unsure how to enable it, which file to edit with what line and where
@Mr. Moonshine Are you running Vtastek Shaders on this setup? I'm running it on my install, and I'm noticing that Vtastek's SSAO isn't playing nicely with the groundcover, making it look dark. Were you able to fix the groundcover here?
Pretty lovely gameplay. Your commentary is super relaxed and pleasant to watch. :) Which shaders are you running? Just the ones in your Pastepin? Or have you combined those with Zesterer's OpenMW Shader Pack, too?
From Zesterer's core shaders, I am only using the shadow_fragment.glsl for the soft shadows. The other shaders I use are Zesterer's clouds, Wareya's shaders, and omwfx. you can find them in the shaders tab of the OpenMW discord. My shader load order is (from my settings.cfg): ssao_hq,water,waterblur,bloomlinear,clouds,godrays,underwater_effects,underwater_interior_effects,FollowerAA,hdr,war_adjustments,vignette
@@MizterMoonshine So far, I've only done shaders and some minor visual tweaks and I'm not even sure if I want to go further. I always loved MGE's shaders with vanilla's meshes and textures and I think I still do. :) Thanks again for your list and explanation on the shaders. Alas, the soft shadows core shaders don't seem to work with the newest nightlies, so I had to leave them out.
For a novice it would be pretty hard. But that's why guides exist. Even so, Morrowind modding is not that complex, compared to the nightmare that modding Skyrim can be.
@Mr. Moonshine Thanks for the reply. I have some experience with modding but MW seems daunting. Will you consider posting your mod list and load order?
You are still reading dialogue to yourself on OpenMW, while on real Morrowind, there is now AI voice so NPCs talk. (and no, it doesn't work for OpenMW and never will due to its limitations)
@@MizterMoonshine Upset about what little buddy? I have both an OpenMW setup just like yours, and a REAL Morrowind setup and I experiement with OpenMW every now and then after they update, but still, I find the real Morrowind better. More mods. I have Ashfall for survival and guar mods for taming and riding. I have scenic travel on silt striders, I have AI voices. etc etc. Lost list of mods that give me lots of joy that DONT WORK with openmw. Wow these mods look amazing! do you have any plans on making a modpack/collection?

20:22 This is probably due to BTBGIsation. He has boots in the inventory, but don't wear them, because stats.
I see. It's not a hugely frequent occurrence but it is kinda annoying.

Whats the mod that changes the sound effects when walking?
There isn't one, it's just a vanilla footstep sound replacer.
Is there a grass mod for TR?
What grass are you using for TR and Vanilla Morrowind?
Remiros
how do you have the preview content, because since the update of TR I have only the mainland

@@samseed666you ok who hurt you
OpenMW is trash. So many mods you miss out on if you use it since it has no scripting at a level required for advanced mods,.
OpenMW has enough improvements to the vanilla game that it's not worth using the original engine just for a few mods.
