Well they do have a point in a way. There's been various research experiments looking into that. How creativity works and so forth. In general if you give someone a blank check: "You can do anything"... they tend not to. Their mind will fall into what they "know" are successful patterns. A+B worked last time so when given the guideline of "Anything" they go back to A+B more often than not. But if you suddenly tell them that their set up has to include C, D, and E in it... well it breaks them out of the auto complete style ruts. It might force them to look into topics that they never considered before. Or an attempt to simplify back to A+B needs to account for the new data and thus makes new connections. Basically if you tell someone: "Make an RPG" odds are you'll have an inferior product in terms of creative input than "Make a Morrowind RPG". And in video games we can see this play out as well. A good example of this ends up being Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2. A studio who doesn't like doing Black and White Morality is told to do an RPG based on a setting with Black and White Morality and a lot of hangups. Instead of ignoring it, they embraced both their own writing style and the lore existing to create something people do consider a fascinating and thought inspiring masterpiece of a story for that setting. Rather than a story they created that crowbarred in a Lightsaber.

Hell, same except I was a frequent No Mutants Allowed poster and even the RPGCodex when it was a bit less... whatever it is now.
The epilogue . . . my guy. So good.
Wonderful video amigo! btw that mod list you gave me worked wonders, and I'm currently playing and loving Morrowind, thanks!
You really deserve more views and subs, the effort in the videos and information is unreal and I look every day for a new video. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you!!!!
I found your videos a few days ago and have enjoyed them so much. The format if this video was neat. Excited for your next video !!
I just finished watching your tamriel rebuilt video today, and then this is uploaded. Just my luck
Update: Just finished watching. What a fucking funny ending
I was born in 2006 and started morrowind yesterday, safe to say you inspired me to try it out. I grew up playing Skyrim so morrowind is like a whole different game series but I kinda like it more
really love you're doing reviews for morrowind mods, good for a latecomer like me. Also love the history drops!!
I love the title "Attack Of The Clones" if nothing else. It sounds sinister and evil, and then it turns out the "good guys" are the ones using the clones to attack. Very cheeky!
damn this style you have here is great, I enjoyed the intersectioning of the mod and the history of the mod, and of course, the poetry
Dominions of dust is out now and really good.
just got done watching, I loved it just as much as your other videos, fantastic work!
Yet another video watched in one sitting! I have to say that you post quality videos with interesting topics, I really love them. You have a very interesting take on your videos and gameplay and the way you roleplay is genuinely very clever. Looking forward to some new content! And you too remember to wash your muatra.
I will NEVER wash my muatra
You filthy s'wit
Yet another gem brought to me by autoplay. Sometimes, the algorithm just works.
Subbed.
Been watching all of your videos the past few days, and I have to say: you're one Hell of a video maker. I've never played Morrowind or half of the other games you talk about, but I can sit and listen to you talk about them and mods for them for hours, and... honestly I HAVE done just that. The visual gags you throw in sometimes to illustrate points alongside your style of narration are also quite amusing and I'm glad they are somewhat sparse so they don't become repetitive or distract from the gameplay/story itself. I'm excited to see what you produce next.
Lol, that fanfic in the end XD.
Excellent job as always Warlock, was really cool to see a legit breakdown of one of the most ambitious mods of all time.
Awesome vid man! Really love the longer content.
9:14 The sino-soviet split refference works well lol
The ending part surprised me and left my sides hurting from laughter. Another great video, I really enjoy your video format and style.
Thanks!!
What a wonderful start to my morning, once again exceptional work!
I do agree with the idea that lore is a guideline, not a holy book. Star Wars is my fav series and it's lore has changed in flex.
13:27, Chékhov and Pushkin right? Damn, I now like this channel even more.
@33:53
Hey Ivon Seloth, what kind of impossible things? Dragons? Dead people? Otherworldy beings? YOU LIVE IN A GODDAMN MAGICAL REALM
Please keep these coming! Just getting into Morrowind through OpenMW VR and am looking forwards to visiting the mainland soon!
I love how this episode(installment?) Of your modded morrowind series(?) is like 50% shitpost and 50% actual gameplay. Great video as always. But im worried this is the last morrowind one...
There are gonna be tons more Morrowind videos. We are not even remotely done.
Found you a month or so ago. Got to say I'm loving the content. Good shit.
This was invaluable in catching up on everything TR has done, I especially like the bit at the end of a future community picking up the remnants and starting over ❤
Howard Zinn would be proud. Adding to my Watch Later list!
Love the amount of people I've been finding making videos on Elder Scrolls lately. Got a sub from me
These are great videos. Keep doing what you're doing!
I love the way you go in and out of narration and interesting sidebars so fluidly
There had better not be more than two Reichs Parkeeps in the elder scrolls else the Thalmor is the least of our problems
That last part of the video where you talk about future events is a masterpiece. Great work!
Just got a big update ashes of the empire and dominions of dust
Absolutely superb. An excellent watch. Thanks!
Oh boy, I was just wondering when this was going to come out.
I love what you're doing. Don't stop!
